ECOLOGY CENTRE

The Ecology Centre is based by Kinghorn Loch in Fife where we actively use nature and the environment as a tool to improve quality of life... Our approach is based on the values of compassion, environment and equity. We use nature as our teacher and aim to provide inclusive, child centred, fun and informative sessions. There are lots of ways we support outdoor learning in schools and the community - we provide CPD, inspirational learning outdoors and can take topics and make them come alive in local woodlands. We believe our work is most transformational in smaller groups lasting a number of weeks... In July 2014, The Ecology Centre purchased 5 acres of land on the eastern shore of Kinghorn Loch in Fife. For the 15 years previously, we had operated from nearby Craigencalt Farm until the lease came to an end.
