Beckie Snow

Beckie grew up in Cambridge Springs on a beef farm. She has always been surrounded by animals. She joined us when we built our building in 2003, and has been a considerable help to pet owners and their pets ever since. She enjoys veterinary medicine because every client that comes here loves their pets, and she, along with everyone on our team, wants to help keep those pets healthy. When she is not busy helping pet owners get the answers and help they need for their pets, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids. She loves to go horse back riding, kayaking, hiking and camping. She has a horse, Julie, an adorable Tabby that she rescued named Annie, and a very lovable Retriever named Willow.

Brittany Maxon

Brittany has always had a special love for animals, wanting to care for them and be their voice to ensure they are healthy and happy. She loves being a Veterinary Technician because every day there is something new to see and learn. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh in 2017, and joined the Greener Pastures team in 2018. When she isn't improving the quality of life for animals at the clinic, she loves to spend time with her daughter and her cats. She has two sweet cats who are as different in personality from each other as they can possibly be, Mia and Millie.

Cheryl Jordan

Job Titles:
  • VT Technician
Cheryl was raised on a dairy farm in Curwensville, PA, with her parents and sisters. It was working on that farm daily that she grew to love animals. She earned her Veterinary Technician degree from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh in 2005. She became a valuable member of our team in 2006 to help us serve our clients and their animals. When she is not caring for the animals in our clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, her English Springer Spaniel, Bow, and her two cats, Buzz and Woody.

Debbie Custard

Debbie grew up in the Meadville/Saegertown area. Her love of animals led her into the veterinary field. Since 1992, she has been educating pet owners on how best to keep their pets safe, happy and healthy. She has been a valuable help to our clients and their pets since she joined us in 2006. She loves to see clients interacting with their furry friends, and enjoys helping them with any questions or concerns they may have. When she is not in our front lobby assisting clients, she loves to be outdoors spending time with her German Shepherd, Kruz. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and spoiling her granddaughter.

Dr. Bryan Nogay

Hailing from Cambridge Springs, PA, Dr. Nogay has been helping animals and their owners since 1989, when he earned his DVM at Colorado State University. Before that, he studied Microbiology as an undergrad. He joined our practice in 2001. He loves veterinary medicine because there is always something new and exciting. There is "Never a dull moment" when you are helping animals and people be happy, healthy and comfortable , which he enjoys doing. When he's not working at the clinic or on the road, he enjoys anything outdoors, especially trail riding, hunting and snow mobiling. He owns everything from cows and horses to dogs, cats, rabbits and swans! He also instilled his love of serving animals to his daughter, who is on her way to becoming a veterinarian herself. Dr. Christy Rynd

Dr. Rynd has known she wanted to be a veterinarian ever since 5th grade, when she read the writings of James Herriot, a British Veterinarian and Writer. She loves her chosen career because every day is rewarding and has its own unique challenges. No two days are alike, and the learning never ends in the veterinary field! She has been helping clients and their animals since 2002, when she joined Greener Pastures. She grew up in Cambridge Springs, and obtained her undergraduate at Edinboro University and her VMD at the University of PA. Even though a veterinarian's days may be long, the rewards of serving people and their animals are worth it, whether it's a dairy farmer and his/her cows or a little girl and her puppy. When she is not keeping the animals of Crawford County happy and healthy, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Her love of animals extends to her home as well as the clinic, with her 400 Holsteins, many Brown Swiss, an Australian Shepherd named Sam, 2 cats and a draft horse named Hank. Dr. Heidi Nicolls

Dr. Nicolls has been helping animals of all shapes and sizes and their owners since she joined Greener Pastures in 2002. She earned her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2002. When she's not diagnosing animals, she loves to do anything outdoors with her family. Education DVM, University of Illinois, 2002

Dr. Kelly Johnston

Dr. Johnston grew up in Wisconsin, where she tagged along with her father who is also a veterinarian. She grew up loving animals. She has been helping animals and the people who love them or rely upon them since she earned her DVM at the University of Minnesota in 1995. Before that she studied Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin. She is one of the original veterinarians who started Greener Pastures in 1996. She enjoys veterinary medicine because what she does makes a difference for people, especially when they are worried about their pets. There is always something new, different and exciting every day. When she is not serving owners and their pets in the surrounding area, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her children love spoiling their cat, who came to GPVS needing a loving home, and their Retriever, Shep. Education DVM, University of Minnesota, 1995

Dr. Leslie Mulvaney

Originally from Missouri, Dr. Mulvaney received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Missouri in 2010. Since then, she has been working in Pennsylvania as a Mixed Animal Veterinarian. She loves all animals, especially cats and goats. At home she has 4 cats: Hattie, Herbie, Bess and Mr. Montique; and 3 dogs: Jenny (a spunky Golden-Doodle) and Sadie (who are Corgis). She also has llamas and goats. She loves being a Veterinarian because she enjoys helping owners understand their pet's unique situation or disease, as well as the treatment that pet may need. Heather Ruhl

Heather joined Greener Pastures in 2003. When she is not assisting our large animal clients, she loves to be involved in her family's 4-H Clubs and Sporting Events.

Jenna Staab

Job Titles:

Edie has always wanted to work in the Veterinary field. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician, where she cared for animals for 24 years before she decided she wanted to expand her field into Rehabilitation. In 2006, she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. She enjoys seeing the progress of the cats, dogs and even horses she has been helping to live a better quality of life ever since. She loves to see animals who were previously in pain be able to live and walk with less pain. When she is not rehabilitating animals, she likes to go biking and cross country skiing. At home she cares for 2 horses, 1 pony, 2 German Shepherds and 2 cats. Education CVT, Median School of Allied Health Careers, 1982 CCRP, University of Tennessee, 2006 Jenna Staab, CVT; Certified Technician Jenna earned her Associates in Veterinary Science from Johnson College in 2005, and became certified in 2006. She has been a valued Certified Veterinary Technician with us since 2005, helping to provide exceptional care for our clients' pets. A native of Saegertown, she enjoys spending time with her family and her Chocolate Lab, Evie, when she's not caring for the animals in our clinic. She also has two cats named Brody and Max. K. James Bertram

Dr. Bertram is from Saegertown, PA. He stayed local to attend Allegheny College majoring in Biology. He then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in suburban Chicago. He has maintained his own human chiropractic practice for 27 years. At the urging of his wife (a Veterinary Technician) and Dr. Johnston from Greener Pastures, Dr. Bertram took an Equine Chiropractic course followed by additional training, leading to certification by the International Association of Veterinary Chiropractitioners. He joined Greener Pastures in 2006. He believes animal chiropractic is important because it adds another option in our treatment arsenal for a variety of cases. Dr. Bertram enjoys working at Greener Pastures because of the vital interaction between the Doctors, Technicians and all support staff in providing successful care for animals. Karen Walters

Karen joined Greener Pastures in 2013. She has grown up in this area, and outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys spending time with her cat, Annie, who was brought into the clinic as a stray (she knew it would only be a matter of time before she took one home), her other cat, Sprinkles, and a Yorkie mix named Chewbacca. Lindsay Fink

Lindsay entered the Veterinary Technician field because of her love of animals and being able to help others. This field is exciting to her because you never know what is going to happen since every day is different. She loves to share her knowledge of animals with others and seeing patients grow and change. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh in 2014. Soon after, she started caring for animals at Greener Pastures, and she earned her certification in 2015. Residing in Titusville, she loves riding horseback, hunting, hiking and anything else that is outdoors. She also volunteers for the Spartansburg Community Fair. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, cats, horses, family and friends.

Rachel Barner

Having been involved with 4-H programs since she was 9 years old with rabbits and later with goats, Rachel's love of animals has grown into a career that she also loves. Her passion is to use her technical knowledge to help improve the health and lives of many different types of animals. She enjoys the veterinary field because there is always something new and exciting each day. Originally from Saegertown, she graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh. She started her career with Greener Pastures in 2019. When she isn't caring for the patients at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trapshooting, hunting, fishing, anything outdoors, square dancing, and volunteering for 4-H programs. She also enjoys her time with her old tabby cat, Jingles, many show rabbits, a goldfish, and her dog, Daisy.

Tara McWilliams

Tara has joined our team, and loves how she can help people with their furry "kids". From Albion, PA, she has always loved animals, and is grateful to be a part of such a great office, full of amazing staff and doctors. When she isn't helping to give our clients peace of mind and assuring their furbabies are well taken care of, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her own 10 year old chocolate lab furbaby, Reese, and her spunky 3 year old silver lab, Ellie. They all enjoy hiking and spending time on the boat at their duck hunting camp on Pymatuning. She also enjoys painting.
