CAP

CAP is a non-profit security organisation. CAP's ultimate goal and duty is to ensure everything and anything that can be done to prevent crime is done... CAP is community-based, non-denominational and non - profit. As a non-profit organisation, CAP injects all funds that are brought in, directly back into the area itself... CAP (Community Active Protection) was established in July 2006 after several tragedies struck the community as a result of violent crime. After consultation between the Chief Rabbi of South Africa, Rabbi Goldstein, and a group of experts tasked with designing a mechanism and infrastructure to enable communities to combat crime, CAP was created. In November 2006, the first area launched in Glenhazel, Johannesburg.
