I am a passionate finance professional focusing on helping businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals. Working closely with clients' unique needs and goals, I enjoy developing customised strategies to achieve them.
I have spent the last two years working in the finance industry and have gained a deep understanding of bank policies and niche offerings.
During my first year in the industry, I worked as a lending support specialist under a team of senior brokers. This position gave me invaluable experience in understanding the industry's inner workings and working with a wide range of clients.
In my second year, I worked as a broker for Australia's 3rd largest finance company. This role allowed me to work with clients from all over Australia and gain experience working with first-home buyers, residential investors, and clients looking to refinance for a better option. I also worked closely with clients with compromised credit files, defaults, and bankruptcies.
I hold a Cert IV in finance and mortgage broking, an AFCA - Australian Financial Complaints Authority Certificate and a FBAA - Finance Brokers Association of Australia Certificate.
I have a real passion when it comes to helping businesses, especially small businesses. I get great satisfaction sitting down with clients, and planning on how we can go about reaching their goals. I really enjoy being able to assist clients to navigate through tax legislation and help them understand their accounting systems.
Originally from Portugal, I moved down under to seek better opportunities, which has been a huge step worth taking.
I started my career at Rhodes Dochery & Co, in the northern suburbs of Sydney. Working in the Business Services and Audit division, I dealt with long-term small to medium-sized business and high-net individual clients from Sydney's North Shore and beyond.
Whilst I was there, I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree. Graduating in the top 10% granted me life time membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Since moving to Mossman in 2019, I have also completed my Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting and become a full member of Chartered Accountants. During this time, I have helped clients in various industries, including but not limited to primary production, tourism, accommodation, IT and equipment & plant hire.
In my free time, I like to be in nature, whether it's bird watching, hiking, camping or just sitting on my patio looking out onto the cane fields.

Originally from Albury NSW, I've called Far North Queensland home since 2016 when I joined MGI Port Douglas as a Senior Accountant. The practice was subsequently acquired by SIDCOR. By June 2020, I had completed my CPA and obtained my Public Practice certificate and was subsequently promoted to Managing Principal of SIDCOR Port Douglas and Mossman.
After running the Port Douglas and Mossman SIDCOR practices for many years, Greg Cete and I established Williams Cete & Co. I feel privileged and excited to continue serving our long-standing client base.
Outside of the office, you will find me on the golf course or fishing/diving at the Great Barrier Reef
