I have always had a passion for animal care and knew this path of career was right for me from an early age. I studied animal care prior to later gaining my Veterinary Nurse Diploma in Helsinki, Finland in 2003. I have lived in London since 2010 and joined this lovely practice where I achieved my British Nurse Registration in 2018. Cat BVM BVS

Job Titles:
  • Veterinary Surgeon
I was born and raised in South London surrounded by chickens, ducks, budgies, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters while I was growing up. All of my family's interesting pets resulted in me never outgrowing the childhood dream of becoming a vet! I moved up to Nottingham vet school in 2017, graduating in 2022, with particular interests in ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. I moved to Paxton vets after working for just over a year in busy hospital, and another small animal clinic. Outside of work I love going out with out with my friends and I am partial to a festival or two every year! I try and travel as much as I can to experience new cities, cuisine and beaches. Between the fun I like to keep fit playing netball and running the occasional marathon.

Eliska Clifton

Job Titles:
  • Road Receptionist
Hello, I am Eliska, a recent addition to the Paxton Vets family. After years of being a loyal customer, I transitioned from pet owner to a member of this wonderful team. My background is deeply rooted in hospitality and as a lover of both animals and people I have found that being on reception, I can get the best of both worlds. At home, I am a proud mother of two delightful girls, fostering a love for animals within my family. In addition to my canine companion and two feline friends, we have shared our home with a variety of pets, including rats, hamsters, and even a snow leopard gecko. I look forward to meeting you when you stop in with your pets.

Frankie BVSc

Job Titles:
  • Veterinary Surgeon
I am originally from South London but relocated to Bristol at 18, where I graduated from the University of Bristol Vet School in 2014. I first joined the Paxtons Team in 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed my time here but my growing need for an adventure pulled me away and so I left to explore the world in a sailboat with my husband. While we were away I applied my veterinary training to voluntary roles aboard. In 2020 I rejoined the Paxton Team and I am very happy to be back. I particularly enjoy surgery.

Hannah Veterinary Care

Hannah has been working with Paxton Vets since June 2019 having previously worked at another surgery for 6years. "I qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant back in 2015. Since a child I have always wanted to work with animals and nurse them back to health so, I can not wait to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse and eventually specialise in caring for paediatric animals to fulfil my dream job! I live at home with my two hand rear Chihuahua X, Peanut and Edward and my three cats Beanie, Sully and Mitten. In my spare time I love to spend as much time and go on adventures with my doggos to make up for the hours I am not with them whilst working, fostering and hand rearing puppies and kittens and cat sitting whilst owners are away on holiday."

Klarissa Veterinary Care

My name is Klarissa Jones and I am the newest Receptionist at Paxton Vets Clifton road. I have worked there for a few months and love what I do. Before I started at Paxton Vets I did volunteering for scan Angels travelling to check lost and found pets microchips to reunite them with their owners. I still currently do this in my spare time, along with collecting stray pets and some that have sadly passed over the rainbow Bridge. I absolutely adore animals, always have, always will. Ever since i was a child i wanted to care for them in any way I could and seeing their little faces every day makes my job the best! I have 5 beautiful cats of my own Skylah, Bailey, Brandy, Shadow and the youngest also naughtiest Mylo.

I have two cats, a big fluffball, Oscar, and a curious kitten, Marzipan. I am a keen photographer and enjoy a good hike. Fun fact: I am 6 foot 5, so I only just fit through most doorways!
