Prem Reddy, MD, FACC, FCCP, is a physician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Dr. Reddy was born into a family of proud leaders in rural India where he learned the values and guiding principles that led to his remarkable accomplishments and generosity. The focus of Dr. Reddy's work has been to save failing hospitals, turn them into thriving community assets, and give back to the community, gifting hundreds of millions of dollars nationally and globally to causes related to healthcare and caring for others.
Dr. Reddy is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. During his 25 years of practice, he performed more than 5,000 cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography and angioplasty and permanent pacemaker implantations. Dr. Reddy has been named by Modern Healthcare as one of the "50 Most Influential Physician Executives" in healthcare nine times, the "25 Top Minority Executives in Healthcare" multiple times, recognized among the 500 Most Influential Business Leaders in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal, and is consistently listed among the "Top 100 Physician Leaders to Know" and "Top 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare." In 2023, Dr. Reddy was honored with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) Presidential Appreciation and Achievement Award. Dr. Reddy also received the Bernard Osher Philanthropists of the Year award, recognizing Dr. Reddy and his wife Dr. Venkamma Reddy for their generous support of Victor Valley College and other California community colleges.
In 2001, Dr. Reddy formed Prime Healthcare Services with a mission to save hospitals, improve community healthcare and provide the very best care to patients. Prime Healthcare now owns and operates 45 hospitals and more than 300 outpatient locations in 14 states and is the fifth largest tax paying hospital system in the nation. Dr. Reddy made a $70 million contribution to found the California University of Science and Medicine, (CUSM), a non-profit medical school located in Southern California that welcomed its first class of students in July 2018. Dr. Reddy serves as Chairman of the Board of CUSM and served as Chairman of the Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) 2021 Board of Directors.

Harsha Upadhyay, MBA, MS, CSHA, CPHQ, currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Region III of Prime Healthcare. In his role, Mr. Upadhyay has operational responsibilities for Prime Healthcare's hospitals in Alabama, Georgia, and Texas.
Mr. Upadhyay has served Prime Healthcare for over 12 years and has held various leadership positions, including his most recent role as the Executive Vice President of Clinical Operations, providing leadership in Clinical and Patient Care Services, including transitioning new hospitals (for profit, not for profit and independent) to Prime Healthcare. Mr. Upadhyay has spearheaded system-wide programs and has been instrumental in successfully leveraging efficiencies in Clinical Operations, Quality, Patient Safety and Accreditation in all Prime Healthcare hospitals. With his leadership and direction, many Prime hospitals have received national recognition and accolades such as 100 Top Hospitals achievement and Key Quality Awards.
Prior to joining Prime Healthcare, Mr. Upadhyay held leadership positions with Vanguard Health System in Orange County Hospital and University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center where he focused on Patient Safety and Accreditation operations.
Mr. Upadhyay holds a Master in Business Administration in Hospital Administration (five year integrated program graduating in Medicine and Management) and also a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Management. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Certified Specialist in Healthcare Accreditation (CSHA). Mr. Upadhyay is a national speaker and an expert in healthcare certification and accreditation. Mr. Richlin joined Prime Healthcare in 2017 as Senior Litigation Counsel and in 2018 he was promoted to Deputy General Counsel, ultimately named VP & General Counsel in 2020. Prior to joining Prime Healthcare, Mr. Richlin served as Senior Counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP, an international law firm with a leading healthcare practice. Mr. Richlin began his legal career by completing judicial clerkships in both the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, working under the guidance of three federal judges. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law for over a decade at Loyola Law School Los Angeles, where he teaches courses on advanced written and oral advocacy. Mr. Richlin is a Vice Chair of Educational Programming for the American Health Law Association and regularly speaks on health law topics across the nation. He has also been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal for the last several years as a "Leader in Law."
Mr. Richlin is a cum laude graduate from Loyola Law School Los Angeles, where he was an Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Richlin received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with honors from Northwestern University in Illinois.

Mark Benz, MSW, serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Region IV. In his role, Mr. Benz has operational responsibilities for Prime Healthcare's four hospitals, medical groups and outpatient locations in Missouri and Kansas.
With leadership roles in CRC Health Services, Community Health Systems, and Universal Health Services, Mr. Benz has more than 25 years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining Prime Healthcare, Mr. Benz served as Market CEO of Tenet Healthcare/Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, Arizona, a market that included five hospitals/micro-hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care centers, and 150-member physician practice. Mr. Benz also served as CEO of Tenet's St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson and Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina.
Mr. Benz earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and Bachelor of Social Work with a concentration in Organizational Development from Arizona State University and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mr. Luis Leon serves as Chief Operating Officer of Prime Healthcare, an award-winning health system with 45 hospitals in 14 states and nearly 50,000 employees and physicians. Mr. Leon also serves as CEO of Region VI of Prime Healthcare which includes hospitals and affiliated entities in Ohio, Indiana, Rhode Island and Florida.
Previously, Mr. Leon was the President of Operations, Division II of Prime Healthcare. Prime Healthcare Division II included 28 hospitals, multiple medical groups and clinics in 12 states east of Nevada. During his eight-year tenure as Division President, Mr. Leon successfully facilitated strategic acquisitions, affiliations, and partnerships with hospitals, physicians and healthcare systems across the United States. With an engaging and collaborative leadership style, Mr. Leon steered Prime Healthcare through transformational change by improving patient care, growing market share and revenue, strengthening physician and employee relations, and improving quality. Under his leadership, Prime's hospitals in Division garnered numerous clinical awards, five-star achievements and safety excellence awards from IBM Watson Health, The Leapfrog Group, Healthgrades, and more. Mr. Leon's role was key to the recovery and transformation of many hospitals, strategically positioning Prime Healthcare for success. During his tenure as Division II President, Prime grew to be the 5th largest, for-profit acute care hospital system within the United States. Prime has been recognized as a Top 15 Health System three times by Truven Health Analytics, and Prime hospitals have been recognized 53 times as "100 Top Hospitals" over the years.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Leon was the Prime Healthcare Regional CEO in San Diego, overseeing Alvarado Hospital Medical Center and Paradise Valley Hospital. He was instrumental in bringing operational improvements and stability to the hospitals. Both facilities received numerous safety and quality awards from The Leapfrog Group, Healthgrades and The Joint Commission. During Mr. Leon's tenure, Alvarado was consistently recognized as a "Top Performer on Key Quality Measures." Paradise Valley Hospital has been recognized as a "100 Top Hospital" in the nation by IBM Watson Health.
Mr. Leon performed his general studies at La Sierra University in Riverside, California. He is a Physician Assistant from the University of California, Davis, and received a Bachelor of Science degree and MBA from the University of Saint Mary. He served on the board of the California Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties and maintained memberships with the California Association of Physicians Assistants, the National Association of Physicians Assistants, the California Association of Radiologic Technologists, and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies.
A native of Cuba, Mr. Leon emigrated with his family to the United States as a young boy. He and his wife currently reside in Riverside, California, with their two sons. Mr. Leon is a classically trained musician proficient on serval instruments, including the organ, which he often plays at church. He and his family regularly conduct fundraising concerts, providing much-needed scholarship money for music students in need. Over the years, Mr. Leon has performed in several operas and musicals. He is also a fan of the outdoors, enjoys running, camping, offroading, and gardening.

Mr. Steve Aleman serves as Prime's Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the senior executive team. Previously, Mr. Aleman was Prime Healthcare' s Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Development. Mr. Aleman has more than 21 years of industry experience in healthcare, both on the payor and provider side. He has successfully developed and led large scale, company-wide initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, and drove growth in a private equity backed integrated healthcare system. Prior to Prime Healthcare, Mr. Aleman served for six years as CFO for Prospect Medical Holdings based in Los Angeles. Earlier in his career, Mr. Aleman, a CPA, worked as a Director for Wellpoint/Anthem. Ms. Sunitha Reddy is the Chief Revenue Officer/Vice President of Operations for Prime Healthcare, the fifth largest, for-profit health system in the United States with 45 hospitals in 14 states, more than 300 outpatient locations and nearly 50,000 employees and affiliated physicians.
In her leadership role, Ms. Reddy drives innovation throughout Prime Healthcare through the planning and directing of Prime Healthcare's operational and financial strategy and initiatives. She is responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals and collaborates with other leaders to guide the development of Prime Healthcare's future growth. In addition, Ms. Reddy plans and directs strategy and initiatives toward revenue generation and improved alignment between all revenue-related functions. These functions include financial operations, revenue cycle, managed care strategy, denials and utilization management, patient access, outsourcing and strategic initiatives, and business office operations.
Under Ms. Reddy's leadership, teams at the hospital and Corporate levels have designed and implemented new systems and processes driven by data, evidence, and best practices to improve the quality of care and success in Prime's hospitals across the US. Prime is nationally recognized for award-winning quality care and has been named a Top 10 and Top 15 Health System by Fortune/IBM Watson Health. Committed to improving the health and lives of others, Ms. Reddy is a dedicated philanthropist who volunteers her time with several organizations. Ms. Reddy is also actively involved as a Director with the Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable dedicated to increasing access to healthcare and educational opportunities locally and globally. Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation has provided millions in scholarships to deserving students from lower-income families in California's Inland Empire. The Foundation has also supported free community clinics, clean water initiatives, childhood vaccination programs, new medical clinics, equipment donations in developing countries, and more.
Ealier in her career, Ms. Reddy served as a consultant in strategy and operations for GE Healthcare Camden Group, based in Los Angeles. While there she led strategic planning engagement for a large, six hospital system and assisted with clinical integration with its aligned physician groups. Ms. Reddy also worked as an associate in healthcare facilities and services for Credit-Suisse in New York.
Ms. Reddy received her Master's in Business Administration from Harvard University with honors and a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University in New York, where she received the Foster G. McGaw scholarship award for academic excellence. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology (Magna Cum Laude) from UCLA with college and departmental honors. Ms. Reddy, who is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, has been recognized as a "Rising Star" in Becker's Hospital Review and as an "Emerging Leader" in 2022 by Modern Healthcare magazine. Saju George serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Region V of Prime Healthcare. In his role, Mr. George oversees Prime Healthcare's hospitals, medical groups and outpatient locations in Michigan.
Saju George held various leadership positions within non-profit and for-profit health systems. Prior to joining Garden City Hospital, Mr. George served at Ascension Health's - St. Mary's/St. Joseph Health System. Mr. George joined Prime Healthcare in 2014 and assumed the role of Garden City Hospital CEO in 2015. Since his arrival he led the Board and senior leadership through strategic planning effort, transforming the hospital from near-bankruptcy to vitality. Under his leadership, Garden City Hospital has significantly increased its quality, efficiency and financial performance earning top local and national honors including IBM Watson Health's elite Everest Award for achieving the highest levels of sustained performance over five years and the IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals® award in 2019.
Mr. George holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and earned his MBA in Healthcare Administration from Baker College of Business in MI. Sonia Mehta, MD serves as CEO and CMO of Region II of Prime Healthcare which includes Prime's hospitals and outpatient locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Rhode Island. She also serves as Chief Academic Officer.
Dr. Mehta is a physician executive with more than 25 years of healthcare management experience. She previously served as CEO/CMO of Lorretto Hospital, a 177-bed independent, safety net hospital and CMO and Board Member of Better Health Network, a Managed Care Community Network in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mehta has also served as President & CEO of the Illinois/Wisconsin Medical Group, a 200+ provider multi-specialty group of the Hospital Sisters Health System and Executive Medical Director of Immediate Care Centers and Chief of Ambulatory Services for 489-bed Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL.
Dr. Mehta is a board-certified Internist and completed her residency at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL. Dr. Mehta also earned an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Over the span of her career, Dr. Mehta has served on various healthcare boards. She was one of 20 people selected on serve on Governor Rauner's HHS transition team in Illinois. She has chaired multiple committees at the Illinois State level for Medicaid transformation. In addition, Dr. Mehta led the Westside Heroin Task Force to help reduce drug related deaths and violence in inner city Chicago.
