Adrienne is a development professional based in the UK, working as senior monitoring, evaluation and learning manager at Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

Dr. Conrad M. Bosire

Dr. Conrad M. Bosire is a lawyer by training and has experience in the areas of law, governance, democracy, and development and has worked in the academia, civil society, and various public institutions, locally and abroad. Dr. Bosire's specific expertise is in multi-level systems of governance (federalism, devolution and decentralisation), as well as in the areas of judicial reform and justice systems. Dr. Bosire was the Chief of Staff in the Kenya Judiciary from 2018-2021 and the Acting Executive Director of the National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) during the same period. Previously, Dr. Bosire was the Director of Research at the Katiba Institute in Nairobi. Dr. Bosire holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Law) from the University of the Western Cape, a post-graduate diploma in federalism and devolution from the Institute of Federalism at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, a Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights and Democratisation from the University of Pretoria, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Moi University. Dr. Bosire is currently an adjunct lecturer at Strathmore Law School and an independent consultant.

Mercy Mbure

Mercy is the Progamme Manager in-charge of day to day running of Business and Human Rights Africa Foundation (BHR Africa).

Patrick Karanja

Patrick is the Executive Director at Business and Human Rights Africa Foundation (BHR Africa). He is a Kenyan based Business and Human Rights Lawyer with more than 18 years experience advising multinationals, local businesses, investors, financiers, government agencies, regulators and international development organizations on regulatory and policy compliance. Patrick is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Notary Public and an international development consultant with expereince working with leading Kenyan and international law firms, charities and organizations in investment due diligence, transaction advisory (particularly in energy, infrastrture and project finance), corporate governance, responsible business practices, ESG, business and human rights, and community based apporach to risk management. He also serves as the General Counsel for various global charities and multinationals advising on projects in Africa. Patrick has previously worked with the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights (RWI), the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), and Advocates for International Development(A4ID) amongst others.
