Ada Choi

Ada Choi leads CBRE's occupier research in Asia Pacific and also oversees data strategy for the region. Since joining CBRE in 2005, Ada has held a variety of leadership roles, including head of capital markets research for Asia Pacific and head of research for Greater China. Prior to joining CBRE, Ada worked in financial markets research for the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing's Planning and Research team, where she led research into financial market development trends and benchmarking Hong Kong against other leading global financial centers. Ada has 15 years research experience in the Asia Pacific real estate market. She holds a MSc in Financial Engineering and Quantitative Analysis for Business from the City University of Hong Kong and a BA in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts.

Dennis Schoenmaker

Job Titles:

Dennis Schoenmaker, Ph.D., co-leads CBRE's Econometric Advisors team of economists, data scientists, data engineers, software engineers and account development professionals to provide clients with a wide range of data analysis and thought leadership. After earning a Ph.D. in real estate economics from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, he began working with the global research team of CBRE in London where he helped the team to translate macro-economic trends into real estate implications. After that, he joined AEW where he worked with key international clients and business colleagues focusing on the European commercial real estate markets. In his role he was also responsible for property market forecasts across the European markets. Dennis has a keen interest in how quantitative solutions can help create value for investors around the world. He is particularly interested in the effect of climate risk on commercial real estate returns and the role data science can play in improving strategic investment decisions. Dennis is based in London and passionate about academic research. He is a visiting Lecturer at ESCP Business School, a football (soccer) fanatic, and enjoys spending time with family and friends on holidays.

Dr. Henry Chin

Dr. Henry Chin leads CBRE's investor thought leadership across all regions and oversees all research activity in Asia Pacific. After joining CBRE in 2014, Henry was promoted to CBRE's Asia Pacific Strategic Group, the board which oversees CBRE's strategic direction in the region, in 2016. From 2019-2020 he also served as Head of Research, EMEA. Before joining CBRE, Henry was head of Asia Pacific research and strategy at PGIM (previously known as Pramerica Real Estate Investors), Prudential Financials Inc., where he was responsible for leading the company's Asia Pacific real estate investment strategy. Henry also spent several years with Deutsche Bank Group, where he had numerous roles ranging from global real estate strategist based in London to co-head of real estate for Asia Pacific for their private banking business. Henry began his career as lead Asian real estate analyst for DTZ. Henry is a visiting professor at Oxford Brookes University (UK) and an assistant professor at National Taipei University (Taiwan). He is also a member of the Society of Property Researchers (SPR), Investment Property Forum (IPF), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Asian Public Real Estate Association (APREA), Asia Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles (ANREV), International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC), SFC Hong Kong, HKSI and UKSIP. He was served as a chairman of ANREV's research committee from 2011 to 2014. He holds an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) in the UK. Henry has 20 years research experience in the Asia Pacific and Global real estate markets. He holds a BA in Land Economic and Administration from National Taipei University (Taiwan); an MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading (UK) and a PhD in Real Estate Investment from Oxford Brookes University (UK).

Ian Anderson

Ian Anderson brings 20 years of commercial real estate and capital markets experience to his role as Senior Director of Research. He leads U.S. Office, Life Sciences, and Healthcare research for CBRE, identifying and communicating the key trends driving supply and demand of these commercial real estate sectors and providing guidance on the future direction of market fundamentals. and Analysis for the Greater Philadelphia region. He is responsible for generating market insight and intelligence and ensuring that clients receive the most thorough, timely and strategic research information, in a way that guides decision making and identifies risks and opportunities. In addition to his national role, Mr. Anderson leads thought leadership for CBRE's Mid-Atlantic Division, covering all property types with a primary focus on Washington, D.C. He delivers presentations and writes reports on local economic trends and their effect on area commercial real estate markets. He also serves as a CBRE spokesperson on the commercial real estate environment and has been published in numerous local, national and industry publications, and has spoken at various conferences and events. Prior to CBRE, Mr. Anderson was the Director of Research for Grosvenor Fund Management in North America. His primary focus was to direct investment strategy by identifying the risks and opportunities of property sectors, metropolitan markets, and macroeconomic trends. During his tenure at Grosvenor, Mr. Anderson authored dozens of commercial real estate research reports, economic views, and market commentaries. Before joining Grosvenor, Mr. Anderson worked for a private residential developer and a community development financial institution.

James Breeze

James Breeze serves as Vice President and Global Head of Industrial & Logistics Research. James is responsible for helping internal and external clients make real estate decisions by providing forward looking data and analysis. An accomplished public speaker and writer, James is a primary spokesperson on the industrial real estate environment. James brings nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate from time spent as National Director of Industrial Research at Colliers International. During his nearly four years at Colliers, James produced a wide variety of thought-leadership pieces that were showcased in Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bisnow, Globe Street, and many others. James started his career at Cushman & Wakefield as an entry level analyst, quickly climbing the ranks to become an industrial broker in California's Inland Empire. After nearly three years as a broker, James returned to research, managing the industrial and office teams in Southern California and Arizona. James was also a member of the U.S. industrial research team. Born and raised in the Inland Empire, James is a graduate of California State University - San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Minor in Finance. James currently resides with his family in Phoenix, AZ.

Neil Blake

Dr. Blake is Global Head of Forecasting and Analytics at CBRE. His responsibilities include developing CBRE's globally consistent economic and real estate view. Neil is a member of a number of industry bodies and a frequent speaker at industry events as well as being a regular media spokesman for CBRE.

Nicole La Russo

As U.S. Head of Field Research & Data Intelligence, Nicole manages a team of nearly 170 research professionals in 68 offices across the US. She oversees all aspects of research at the local market level including broker support, market intelligence and thought leadership, and also manages the national research team overseeing data management and multi-market research assignments. Nicole also serves as a member of the global research leadership team, developing strategy and overseeing execution of the company's highest level data and research priorities. Nicole joined CBRE in 2016 as the Director of Tri-State Research, and then expanded her role several times to cover the Northeast and then the North Region before being promoted to Vice President for the U.

Richard Barkham

Richard Barkham leads a global team of nearly 600 research experts who help CBRE's clients understand the forces shaping the commercial real estate industry. One of the world's leading real estate economists, Richard combines the theoretical framework of an academic with hands-on experience in development to deliver actionable insights for real estate investors and occupiers. A frequent source for both clients and journalists navigating moments of economic volatility, he is particularly interested in the role government stimulus plays in long-term economic recoveries. Richard began his career as a professor of economics and land management at the University of Reading, where he earned his Ph.D. He is the author of two books and numerous academic and industry papers on the topics of real estate and entrepreneurship, including the acclaimed Real Estate and Globalisation (Wiley Blackwell, Oxford), which explains the impact of the rise of China and Brazil on real estate markets. After more than a decade, he left academic life for the private sector, serving first as Head of Projects and Consultancy at CB Hiller Parker and later as Director of Research at the London-based property powerhouse Grosvenor Group. He was also a non-executive director of Grosvenor Fund Management, where he was involved in fund strategy, risk analysis and capital raising. He joined CBRE in 2014 as Executive Director and Global Chief Economist. He is also the Chairman of CBRE Econometric Advisors, a specialist real estate forecasting unit. Richard is Visiting Professor of Economics at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London. An avid skier and sailor, he resides in Boston and enjoys spending time with his three grown children.

Spencer Levy

Spencer Levy is Global Client Strategist and Senior Economic Advisor for CBRE, the largest commercial real estate services firm in the world. In this role, he focuses on client engagement and public-facing activities, including thought leadership work performed in conjunction with CBRE Research. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Real Estate Roundtable's Research Committee. Spencer is frequently quoted in major business publications and appears on business television, including CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg, PBS and Fox Business. Spencer is the host of CBRE's podcast "The Weekly Take." He is considered one of the most insightful commentators on issues of importance to commercial real estate. Spencer has 27 years of experience in commercial real estate, including the past 15 at CBRE. In this time, he has served as a lawyer, investment banker, capital markets and senior research leader. He leverages that varied background to formulate advice and create presentations that go deep and touch on all aspects of commercial real estate. Taylor Jacoby

Taylor Jacoby leads CBRE's Strategic Investment Consulting team, leveraging her expertise in economic analysis, real estate research and consulting to address client challenges. Since the team's founding in January 2020, Taylor has advised on nearly 100 projects for a wide variety of clients across all property types and U.S. markets.
