Amy's practice focuses on representing nonprofit and tax exempt organizations, including forming tax-exempt organizations, preparing organizational documents and policies, preparing applications for federal and state tax exemptions, and advising on issues regarding the operation, management, and taxation of tax-exempt organizations. Her practice also includes addressing sophisticated tax issues.
Amy is involved in her local community through her volunteer work, with a particular focus on serving children and teens in the foster care system. Prior to attending law school, Amy was an elementary school teacher with the Garland Independent School District.
Carolina provides high level of support to our legal team, including research, client intake, accounts receivable and billing, and proofreading, as well as general administrative support work. She also assists with firm administration.
Carolina is actively involved on the media team in her church. She also spends her time volunteering at Lumin East Dallas Community School. Prior to joining Mendrygal Law, Carolina was a project manager in the supply chain field.

Danika guides clients through the many complexities of establishing, growing and managing a tax-exempt organization. She provides counsel, advice and representation in taxation, corporate governance and compliance issues.

Genevra Williams brings an insider's perspective to her client's issues. Prior to entering private practice, she was the sole in-house attorney for a prominent community foundation in Dallas, Texas, where she managed all issues related to legal compliance, board governance, and risk management.

Lynne has over 20 years' professional experience as a paralegal concentrated in the fields of corporate governance and intellectual property. She began her career in well-known intellectual property law firms, branching out to in-house legal departments working under the direct supervision of General Counsel and other C-level management members. She possesses diverse experience in governance activities for privately held entities (domestic and international, for-profit and non-profit), and a passion for supporting the non-profit sector in both a professional and volunteer capacity.

Sujata's approach to client and community relationships is informed by her experiences as an attorney, as an independent consultant, and as an active volunteer herself in her community. As a consultant who has worked with both newly formed grassroots groups, as well as stalwarts with an established history and identity, she has advised on grant-writing, community partnerships, strategic planning, and board development and management. Her public policy work includes serving in the Office of Health Policy in the administration of Kentucky Governor Steven Beshear. As a transactional attorney, she has supported clients in an outside general counsel role, led complex domestic and international finance transactions, worked on municipal bond issuances, and been willing and able to develop new areas of expertise.
