MISSOULA SPEAKEASY

Stave Hoop - a Missoula speakeasy, is a full service bar restaurant in downtown Missoula. The building was built in 1896 for the Garden City Bottling Liquor Co. for barrel storage and the current design pays homage to this history in classic speakeasy style... Stave & Hoop, a new Missoula speakeasy was built to pay homage to the amazing history of the building at 223 N. Higgins. Built in 1896 by the Garden City Bottling & Liquor Co. the basement was used mainly as barrel storage. The elements that make up a traditional barrel are the Stave (the vertical running wood slats) and the Hoops (the metal rings holding the staves together). Out of this history bloomed a modern day, speakeasy style bar serving incredible craft cocktails, beer, wine and Montana style comfort food.
