Alain Koffi

Alain Koffi (French and Ivorian) is an international business lawyer with more than 25 years of experience (New York Bar), and more than 10 years in investigation, anti-corruption, and dispute resolution in developing countries. After working for the African Development Bank, from 2006 to 2008 Alain worked as a legal consultant for the Investigation Section (OAI) of UNDP in New York; where he conducted various investigations on cases of alleged wrongdoings in the UNDP field offices in Sub-Saharan Africa. As a legal consultant for Ekwa Consulting, a law firm based in France, he worked on the Beneficial Ownership Transparency legal framework in the extractive industry and public procurement in West African countries as well as Anti-Money Laundering and Financing Terrorism regulations and KYC requirements in the gaming sector in Liberia. During his four years at the Legal Department of the African Development Bank, (the ‘AfDB) he represented the AfDB in administrative or legal proceedings. In various capacities throughout his career working in commodities trading and management consulting he was responsible to develop measures to prevent fraud based on risk assessment efforts of the supply chain and developed monitoring systems to prevent fraud and increase efficiency in the agro-industrial sector. Alain has recently started working for OSACO Group conducting investigations on various assignments in Africa. He's currently developing the ESG & Due Diligence departments of OSACO Africa.

Alfred Zebi

Alfred leads the OSACO Africa office. An Ivorian national, Alfred Zebi has extensive international experience as a lawyer initially based in Paris, advising governments and private entities. He then acted as general counsel for an entity under the Presidency of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, advising extensively on large scale public and private partnership projects. In his role as Senior Legal Advisor at the African Development Bank he worked to reform the administration department and procurement procedures and led internal investigations for the bank. He then joined the UNDP in New York as an investigation specialist within the audit and investigations office before returning to Côte d'Ivoire to work as an independent consultant 10 years ago. He joined OSACO in 2017. Alfred is a qualified lawyer. He has worked in both the humanitarian and development, and corporate sectors. He spent several years as a Senior Legal Counsel with the African Development Bank (AfDB) before joining UNDP for seven years as an Investigation Specialist, where he worked throughout Africa and the Middle East. Alfred has worked with OSACO for several years where he's either undertaken or managed complex investigations for UN, INGO and corporate clients, predominately in the African region. While being able to undertake investigations into all types of allegations, he specialises in those relating to fraud, corruption and bribery, particularly issues surrounding procurement. An Ivorian national, Alfred Zebi has extensive international experience as a lawyer initially based in Paris, advising governments and private entities. He joined OSACO in 2017. Alfred undertakes investigation missions for OSACO, working notably for international NGOs, working mostly as a lead investigator, or supervising investigations. Alfred's focus is primarily on French-speaking countries. Due to current global trends, his investigations tend to be increasingly related to sexual abuse and exploitation, even though he remains a specialist in fraud and procurement-related investigations. As an African, and a French speaker, Alfred's extensive knowledge, personal experience and awareness of cultural nuance mean that interview subjects confide more easily in him. This combined with more than 20 years of investigative experience and a network of contacts on the ground make him an invaluable and highly effective professional investigator. Alfred is based at OSACO Africa's offices in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, which allows for quick deployment without visa requirements in most cases when he is needed on the ground in Africa.

Christopher (Chris) Delaney

Chris is a qualified mediator and ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery) & 19600 (Compliance), auditor. He has worked throughout the globe, particularly in, the Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia regions, undertaking investigations into all types of alleged staff misconduct.

Daniel Beaudoin

UK-based Daniel Beaudoin joined OSACO in 2020 as its administration manager. He has a background in aviation and leisure travel, including airport station logistics, having worked with both a leading global travel provider and a small, independent regional carrier. Daniel works closely with OSACO's clients and the business' directors and consultants to ensure that all administrative aspects of the business run smoothly. "Providing a high level service for our clients is very important to me," says Daniel. "They need to have confidence in us and in our systems. I enjoy meeting and surpassing our clients' expectations." Working for OSACO provides an opportunity to contribute his skills to support values-based work that makes a tangible difference, he says. Daniel was drawn to OSACO because it works to better the lives of the most vulnerable.

David Jenkins-Handy

David provides consultancy, external audits, and systems development for organisations, and the development and delivery of an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Standard created specifically to align with and further OSACO's ethics-based approach. Based in the UK, David brings many years of experience working as at a senior level in governance, risk, and compliance for the International Compliance Association to his work at OSACO. David is a qualified lead auditor and compliance officer and has produced training, governance frameworks, policies, and controls including safeguarding, conflict of interest, confidentiality, and other risk management mechanisms.

Jacquie Walters

Jacquie began working with OSACO in 2018. Jacquie is a highly experienced and respected public relations professional known for her ability to give measured, calm, and strategically pertinent counsel in high-pressure situations. Her 28-year career in communications spans print and online journalism, writing marketing copy for television commercials, in-house and external corporate communications for electricity lines companies, strategic communications for an iwi organisation, and wearing steel-capped boots and hardhat as editor of a forestry industry magazine. Prior to working with OSACO and in her own public relations consultancy, Jacquie was in-house Public Relations Consultant at the University of Canterbury, specialising in media and government relations and advised senior management on issue and crisis communication and took the lead role in the University's media relations in the aftermath of the Canterbury earthquakes. Her work during this period was recognised when Jacquie and her colleagues won a Public Relations Institute of New Zealand Award in 2012. Jacquie is a member of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand and is accredited in public relations. Jacquie began working with OSACO in 2018 as global communications and media manager. Jacquie is a highly experienced and respected public relations professional known for her ability to give measured, calm, and strategically pertinent counsel in high-pressure situations.

Jaydene Buckley - Managing Director

Jaydene Buckley is Managing Director of OSACO Group. Jaydene is a former member of the New Zealand Police where she spent her later years as a police liaison officer in Māori communities. Her team developed a strongly proactive, community-based approach to issues affecting community wellbeing; such as youth criminality, gangs, drugs and reoffending.

Jonas Frey

With more than 20 years spent working worldwide in US Navy Special Operations, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations, Diving Operations, Research and Development, Personal Protective Security, and Physical Security you'd be right to expect that Jonas brings a calm, professional leadership style to his work with OSACO clients. Jonas utilises his experience in leading teams through high risk operations to provide practical solutions to risk management. He has a focus on proactive, preventative work for OSACO clients, in addition to the ability to be responsive to rapidly-evolving situations. He has the ability to apply his well-honed analytical skills to identify and mitigate human behaviour risk.

Laetitia Carelle Goli

Ms. Laetitia Carelle Goli is Ivorian and graduate in law. Devoted to improving the rights of the women in Cote d'Ivoire and the Africa Region, she has previously worked as Feminism Officer at the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Laetitia also works as the Legal Officer of the Ivorian League for Women's Rights, an Ivorian NGO that provides the holistic management of the impact of violence against women and also conducts training and awareness campaigns on safeguarding. She empowers women and communities through raising awareness of relevant issues via the media and social media training. Since 2020, she has been a consultant with OSACO Group conducting safeguarding reviews and investigations into and training in the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse, and sexual harassment. Laetitia has worked extensively through both the French and English-speaking regions of Africa. She is committed to working with organisations to create internationally benchmarked standard safeguarding practices and responses.

Leone Scott

Leone Scott joined OSACO Group in early 2020. Leone has a 12-year background in policing and also spent five years running a popular brand with a network of New Zealand franchise businesses. Now based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Leone contributes high-level investigative skills and the ability to conduct work within politically sensitive environments to her work with OSACO clients in a range of countries.

Sean Buckley - COO

Sean began his career as a police detective in New Zealand before moving to the UN, investigating political assassinations in the Middle East. His investigative assignments extended into work within UN agencies and international NGOs and have now expanded beyond the humanitarian world into other sectors. Sean is a global investigation specialist with unmatched expertise in the field of PSEA and the investigation of safeguarding related allegations. "Years of on-the-ground experience in some of the worst humanitarian situations in the world gives you a powerful insight into how things really work and how people function and behave in all kinds of organisational settings," says Sean. "I believe passionately that things can be done better, so my aim is to bring this to bear on the human and organisational problems we all face in a way that really makes a difference. Sean is investigations manager and co-founder of OSACO Group. Simon Scott

Simon Scott joined OSACO in April 2020. Simon had a 19-year career in the New Zealand Police, joining in 1991. Simon demonstrated a strong leadership ability which led to swift promotion within the New Zealand Police. He rose to the rank of Detective Inspector, managing teams of 50 or more people in various roles.
