PENDHAPA ARCHITECTS

In regard to furniture and collectible design, we bring an architectural understanding to the scale of the furniture in order to design spaces as a sequence of anchoring points. Our extensive exploration of hand-carved solid wood allows the furniture pieces to hold a certain weight, both in their aesthetic and lifespan. For each architecture project, a new collection arises: we design bespoke furniture collections encompassing all categories, including our chair Mast or the versatile sofa Naksathra, to statement pieces such as the long marble table Udukkai and smaller sculptural pieces, such as the Gingko side table... Atelier Pendhapa is currently represented by galleries including Zèbres.Paris, The Invisible Collection, Galerie Philia, Love House New York, Galerie Oros Shanghai, and Affluency Singapore... Pendhapa is a team of 23 architects, designers and makers dedicated to creating buildings, spaces, objects and furniture.
