We provide a relaxed and friendly environment for horticultural work in our nursery, vegetable gardens, and landscaped areas... We offer a variety of interest groups, which includes fruit and vegetable growing, community gardening, beekeeping and beehive management, local history and heritage, health and wellbeing, and healthy eating. The Thompson Park Heritage group meets twice per month at the Park Café to share their research... Founded in 2017, Sunderland Home Grown CIC has been on a journey of growth and transformation. Thanks to the generous support from Power to Change, we have successfully transformed a former council maintenance site into a thriving working nursery facility and garden centre, now open for the public to enjoy.
