Hello there! My name is Kirk and decided to start this site as a place to share the recipes that I come up with for my family and my friends. I fell in love with food and cooking at a very young age. As a 20 year military member (now retired), I was able to travel to various places around the world and expand the horizons of my taste buds, recipes, and culture. You can learn a lot about people, language, and culture through food if you are susceptible to trying new things. You will not find fancy pictures or oftentimes fancy plating (more often than not you will see my "fine china"). I hope to offer you options that help you in the kitchen or with a future get together. As with all of the recipes, please adjust the seasonings to your taste! If you like more salt, add salt.
