USM Riverdale is our newest facility home to USM Processing, specializing in Used Beverage Cans (UBCs) and precious metal recovery. We operate on 10 acres that allow us to remain one of the largest processors of UBCs in North America. Our state of the art equipment ensures our ability to process large items by feeding them into our high performance, low energy consumption, low noise, and minimal dust machine that shreds the steel into smaller pieces for mills and foundries. Material as thick as 3" can be sheared into spec sizes for melting, and our multi ram bailer compresses larger scrap clips down to a square block, customized for customer specifications. We handle larger items that cannot be put into any of our processing machines by cutting them down with a propane/oxygen torch system.
