LiverScan aims to identify individuals with potential liver disease and fatty livers using the gold standard examination with a FibroScan device. Every day in the UK, more than 40 people die from liver disease and 25% of the adult population are currently estimated to have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Our aim is to be one step ahead and encourage people to take control of their liver health... The FibroScan machine is portable so we can come to you. If we have a minimum of 10 employees, we can block out the day, pack up our equipment and come on site. All we need is a private room and we will be prepared with everything else. This makes it quick and simple for everyone... The liver is the largest solid organ and is located in the upper right side of the abdomen, just below the diaphragm. Without it the body can't carry out essential functions.
