Associate Partner, Alex, works predominantly in our Property Risks team, assisting the partners with the day-to-day running of cases, as well as managing his own caseload. He is also actively involved in the firm's business development activities, including delivering training and seminars for brokers, publishing articles and newsletters and building relationships with existing and potential introducers of work.
Alex has a solid grounding in coverage disputes, with experience including professional indemnity claims, property damage and business interruption. Alex joined Fenchurch Law in 2017 from Elborne Mitchell, a busy litigation practice in the heart of the London insurance market. He trained with BPS Law in Manchester, specialising in policyholder coverage work.
Alex graduated from the University of Birmingham with a law degree in 2009, before completing an LPC at the College of Law. He is a member of the British Insurance Law Association and the Society of Construction Law.
Amy advises on coverage under a wide range of first party and liability insurances, with a focus on Construction and Property Risks. She has experience of litigation, arbitration and alternative forms of dispute resolution, arising from residential developments, commercial property, engineering projects, infrastructure and hotels.
Amy has specialised in representing policyholders on insurance claims for over 15 years, often involving international risks, across a variety of industry sectors. Joining Fenchurch Law as a partner in 2016, she has acted for owners, contractors, consultants, asset managers, financial institutions and high net worth individuals on recoveries under property, construction, business interruption, public liability, management liability, crime/fidelity and professional indemnity policies.

Amy sits on the Insurance Committee of the British Property Federation. She is a member of the British Insurance Law Association, Society of Construction Law and Association of Insurance Risk Managers in Industry & Commerce.

Anthony is a Senior Associate Solicitor specialising in coverage disputes with a particular focus on property losses and commercial/financial risks.
Anthony began his career as a trainee at BLM, acting for insurers in coverage and liability disputes in relation to construction, professional negligence and EL/PL matters. He then moved to Edwin Coe as an Associate and focused on property and business interruption coverage disputes with insurers. His work often included: misrepresentation and non-disclosures; breaches of conditions and warranties; claims in which there were accusations of fraud or dishonesty.
Anthony studied law at Sussex University before completing his LPC at BPP (Holborn). Anthony is a member of the British Insurance Law Association and the Law Society's Junior Lawyers Division.

Ayobami is an associate solicitor specialising in coverage disputes and the newest member of the Fenchurch Law team.
Prior to joining Fenchurch Law, Ayobami trained at DAC Beachcroft, completing seats in Property Casualty, Professional & Financial Lines, Commercial Health and Real Estate. Ayobami graduated from the University of Nottingham, achieving a first-class degree, before achieving a distinction in his LPC at BPP University.
Catrin Wyn Williams is an Associate Solicitor specialising in coverage disputes.
Catrin began her career as a trainee at BLM completing seats in Property Damage, Professional Indemnity and a secondment with Hiscox Insurance. Her background in acting for insurers gives her an insight into how insurers deal with claims.
Catrin studied at Queen's University Belfast, gaining experience at Allen & Overy's office in Belfast along the way, and at the University of Law in Manchester. Catrin completed her secondary education in Welsh - her first language - and trained as a mezzo-soprano.

Chloe is an Associate Solicitor specialising in coverage disputes and is based in our Leeds office.
Before joining Fenchurch Law, Chloe was a Technical Claims Manager at a nationwide insurance broker dealing with all aspects of insurance claims, including liability and coverage disputes. Prior to her broking background, Chloe handled liability claims for a number of major insurers.
Chloe studied at Northumbria University where she completed the LLB and went on to complete a Masters in Law alongside the LPC. Chloe is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

David is a Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in all Higher Courts in England & Wales, a member of the British Insurance Law Association and the Society of Construction Law, and is a Vice-Chair of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association, where he focuses in particular on promoting cooperation and sharing best practice between UK and US policyholder advocates.

Our Office Manager, Donna, has a wide range of management responsibilities at Fenchurch Law, including overall responsibility for Finance and Accounts and supplier relationships and acting as head of the Operations team overseeing Compliance, Human Resources and all administration. She also assists our Managing Partner, David Pryce, with the day-to-day running of the firm.
Donna has over 30 years' experience within the legal sector - including 17 years as a Practice Manager / Practice Director. She began her career with E.L. Murphy before moving to City of London firm of solicitors WHCG as Practice Manager in 2003. Donna is one of our original team, having joined Fenchurch Law in November 2010.

Emily is an Operations and Business Development assistant. She works alongside the Practice Director and Business Development Manager to provide administrative and business development support to the fee earners. Emily also ensures the smooth running of our Leeds office.
Before joining Fenchurch Law in March 2022, Emily began her career in administrative roles both in the legal and construction industries.

Jessica is a Senior Associate specialising in coverage disputes and is a member of the Financial and Professional Risks team.
With over eight years of experience as a commercial litigator, she has worked on complex and high-value matters, including professional negligence claims against law firms and/or accountants, and has dealt with coverage issues such as condonation, construction of the policy, aggregation, and quantum.
Jessica has represented a range of clients, including resident and non-resident individuals, as well as companies. Having worked at boutique litigation firms for the majority her career, she has a breadth of High Court/Commercial Court litigation experience and has had successes at trial and in the Court of Appeal.
Joanna leads Fenchurch Law's Construction & Property Risks team, advising policyholders in high-value commercial coverage disputes relating to all types of property risks including under Commercial Property Policies and Building Defect Guarantee Policies. Her practice area includes a Financial & Commercial Risks element, including in particular advising on Trade Credit and Warranty and Indemnity Policies.
Joanna joined Fenchurch Law in 2016 after 18 years at Allen & Overy, where she gained broad experience in complex multi-jurisdictional proceedings and arbitrations acting for financial institutions and global corporates, including advising policyholders on political risk, crime, and D&O policies.
Joanna graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA (Hons) degree in Oriental Studies and a PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies, before completing her CPE and LPC. She is a member of the British Insurance Law Association, the Society of Construction Law and Women in Property.

Fenchurch Law partner, Jonathan Corman, leads our Financial & Professional Risks practice area. He acts exclusively for policyholders pursuing claims for indemnity against their insurers or defending uninsured claims made against them.
Jonathan has been an insurance specialist for almost 30 years, concentrating primarily on professional indemnity, as well as D&O, Financial Institutions and construction.
He has litigated at all levels of the court system, is familiar with the arbitration process and a strong believer in mediation whenever it is appropriate.
Jonathan acted for the successful policyholder in the recent Court of Appeal case of RSA v Tughans, which concerned indemnity for a claim relating to the policyholder's own professional fees.
Legal 500 has described Jonathan as "at the foremost of his field, and a pragmatic and realistic lawyer who quickly identifies the issues and ways to address them … He is razor sharp and pulls no punches in achieving the best outcome for policyholders".

Michael is Fenchurch Law's Business Development Manager, working with each member of the team to optimise their business development and marketing activities. His responsibilities include events management, managing the firm's social media channels, organising seminars, production of newsletters and other communications and management of the firm's CRM database
Michael graduated from Loughborough University in 2014 with a BSc. in Information Management & Business Studies. He began his career as an Operations Manager for workspace solutions provider Regus, before joining Fenchurch Law in 2016.
Michael Robin is a partner, with over 45 years of experience in handling complex claims across the international insurance market. Michael has a particular focus on Financial and Professional Risks.
Michael joined Fenchurch Law from global legal services firm DWF, where he was Partner in the Professional Liability and Commercial Insurance Disputes team, and is well known in the insurance market as a founding partner of Robin Simon.
Michael has acted in some of the largest and most high-profile cases to come before the UK Courts or arbitration panels, involving sums in excess of £5 billion. Michael has taken over 100 cases to trial.
Chambers & Partners has descried Michael as "an extremely sophisticated lawyer", and he is regularly commended for the quality and precision of his advice to clients.

Natalie is a PA and Operations Assistant. She works closely with the Practice Director to provide administrative support to the fee earners. Natalie also ensures the smooth running of our London office.
Prior to Fenchurch Law, Natalie began her career in an administrative role at a property management company. Natalie graduated from the University of Hull with a first-class degree in Criminology with Psychology, before completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University.
Insurance Consultant, Phil, has over 35 years' experience in the insurance industry, is ACII qualified and holds Chartered Status with the Chartered Insurance Institute. He joined Fenchurch Law in 2020, after 15 years at Beaumonts / Jelf Insurance Brokers where he was Regional Claims Director dealing with a wide portfolio of clients, major and complex losses and coverage disputes on first and third party claims. Prior to broking, Phil's background was Liability Loss Adjusting specialising in EL, PL, Products and Professional Indemnity claims.
Serena is an Associate specialising in coverage disputes.
Before joining Fenchurch Law Serena trained at DWF's Belfast office and worked in their insurance team, representing insurers in relation to defence litigation. Serena graduated from Queens University Belfast with a degree in Law with Politics in 2016, before completing her legal training at the Institute of Professional Legal Services.

Toby is a Senior Associate specialising in coverage disputes and has a particular focus on expanding the firm's presence in the North of England.
Prior to Fenchurch Law, Toby trained at DLA Piper with experience in Litigation and Commercial Dispute Resolution, Finance and Banking, Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency and Commercial Real Estate. Toby graduated from Lancaster University with a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course (LLM) at the University of Law.
