Brayton Headstart Preschool initially started off in September 1967 as ‘Brayton Parish Playgroup'. It was formed by a group of young mothers from the church and was initially held in the parish rooms until 1991, when it moved to its own premises on the grounds of Brayton High School with the help of the Local Authority.
