Adam joined CLEAR in January 2020, with over 25 years experience in the London market. He specialises in placing professional indemnity, directors and officers & financial institutions risks and has built strong relationships within the Lloyds and London market. Adam's Interests include photography and cooking.
Alex worked previously at Robert Alexander Ltd for 11 years dealing with all types of commercial insurance, before they were acquired by CLEAR in 2018. When not dealing with commercial insurance, Alex enjoys playing golf, football and socialising with friends in his free time.
Alison is one of our most experienced Handlers with experience in all classes of commercial insurance. She has also achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. A very busy mum of twin boys, Alison enjoys travelling and cooking.

Amanda joined CLEAR in 2016 as HR Manager, having worked within the Insurance Industry for the past 10 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in events to raise money for charities.
Andra joined us in 2013, bringing with her over 20 years of experience dealing with insurance claims, at broker and insurer level. She has worked on a variety of personal and commercial lines and spent 5 years 'in house' as insurance and claims manager at a large contract services company. Andra is an avid reader and also enjoys travelling. She enjoys socialising and has a passion for dance music-which comes in very handy as her husband is a DJ.
Andrew joined CLEAR in 2016 with 5 years' experience in the insurance industry, having initially worked with commercial claims before moving on to handling public liability claims exclusively for Thames Water. During this time, Andrew achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a civil engineer in the water industry. When Andrew isn't thinking about sewers or insurance, he enjoys listening to most forms of music (with a particular interest in opera) and going to the cinema/theatre. He is married, with cats instead of children.
Andrew joined CLEAR in 2011, having worked in finance since he gained his degree in economics in 2005. He is armed with experience in audit,retail and the service sector which assists us with implementing new initiatives. Andrew enjoys travelling and has an interest in sports including football, rugby, skiing and formula 1. He can make a mean steak too!

Andy joined CLEAR in December, with 20 years of insurance broking experience. During the last 12 years his experience has been within London / the Lloyds insurance market. His primary focus has been on property, casualty and construction risks within the corporate risk sector. In his spare time, he enjoys running, sailing, cycling and watching motor sport.
Angela is an avid F1 follower, keeping a keen watch on British drivers, and she tries to attend a different Grand Prix each year. When she is not following F1 or dealing with our client's claims, she likes to spend time with her new puppy Lewie & her 4 grandchildren.
Annalie joined CLEAR in 2018, having worked in the insurance industry for 25 years which included living and working in Dublin doing Captive Insurance for the main mobile phone providers and Global Programs. Annalie enjoys socialising with friends and family, spending time with two very naughty feral cats that she rescued in Ireland 8 years ago. She is also a massive Formula 1 fan that hasn't missed watching a qualifying or race for the past 15 years.
Anthony joined CLEAR in 2017 as Financial Controller. Since qualifying in practice as a Chartered Accountant, he has gained significant experience across a number of finance roles within the Financial Services sector. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys time with his family, running, as well as the occasional game of badminton or squash.
Anthony joined CLEAR in December 2012 bringing with him over 15 years' experience of IT operations, infrastructure and management. Since then he has occupied positions as IT Projects Manager, Group Projects Manager and Head of IT. As of April 2020 he now has overall responsibility for the IT function as Director of IT. When not engrossed in all things IT and delivering projects, he loves to play football or tennis and occasionally escapes for some skiing.

Having worked as a sales consultant to a number of insurance brokers in her career, some of which are now part of CLEAR, Barbara joined CLEAR in 2021 to bring her knowledge and experience of developing and driving organic growth strategy to the group. She'll be focusing on key cross selling initiatives, sales best practice and working within the marketing team to develop lead generation, data management and to manage new business pipeline across the group. Barbara likes to keep fit and healthy, regularly exercising and making time to spend with her teenage girls and her unruly wire haired fox terrier.
Ben joined Clear in February 2022 to help execute Clear's acquisitions strategy. Ben oversees the end-to-end deal process from initial valuation to managing key legal documentation. Ben is a qualified Chartered Accountant and prior to joining Clear, spent 9 years at Deloitte most latterly with the Financial Services M&A Lead Advisory team where he advised clients on both buy-side and sell-side engagements. In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing football for Nottsborough FC and encouraging his son, Wilf to also take up the beautiful game.
Ben started his insurance career as a Sales and Marketing apprentice for Morrison Insurance Solutions and now has over 8 years' experience in marketing and a Diploma in Professional Marketing awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Following CLEAR's acquisition of Morrison Insurance Solutions, Ben moved into a group marketing role for CLEAR, specialising in hosting client events either physically or now more commonly via webinar. Out of the office he is a keen cricketer and an average golfer.

Bhavik joined us from Kerry London Ltd in 2016, having worked in the insurance industry for over 7 years. His interests include football, formula 1 and cricket. He supports Manchester United and also is a lover of cars and speed. His dream is to one day experience driving a Ferrari.
Brogan started her career within the insurance industry in 2014 and has been dealing with various different lines of Insurance. She enjoys going to Music concerts, Festivals and Traveling having visited over 25 countries so far.
Cameron joined CLEAR in 2012, bringing with him many years' experience in handling a wide range of insurances. Cameron's main passion is golf (currently playing off 8 handicap) but hopes to improve as when not working he is generally out playing at his second home in Spain. He loves holidays and skiing and when not playing sport he tries to find time for a glass or two of wine!

Caroline joined CLEAR in 2018, having worked in the insurance industry since joining Aon in 2001. She started in personal lines and made the transition to commercial lines in 2007. She has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys dancing and spending time with her friends & family.
Catherine joined CLEAR in 2015 having worked in broking for 4 years and has also achieved her Cert CII. Outside of work she is a Chelsea season ticket holder. She also enjoys going on holiday and socialising.
An experienced Chartered Accountant who joined CLEAR in 2005 following many years in the construction industry. Chris oversees Group financial control and planning, and supports business development initiatives. A keen tennis player and occasionally reasonable golfer.
Chris joined CLEAR in 2006 after spending a number of years as an account executive for a successful city broker. He is now responsible for managing our growing Property Department and spending time managing customers with property insurance needs. As well as being a family man, being married with 3 young children, Chris is a keen cyclist and often takes part in weekend bike rides with his friends and colleagues.
Chris joined CLEAR in July 2020, with over 20 years insurance experience predominantly in the commercial insurance arena. Chris prides himself in delivering first class client service and forging long term relationships. He has dealt with a wide range of industries in his career to date.Outside of work, Chris supports Colchester United and goes to watch them regularly. He is a level 1 FA coach and coaches his eldest step son's football team. He also plays league badminton for his local club. Chris is extremely family oriented with his wife and 4 children between them, so he's always kept on his toes!

Craig joined CLEAR in 2018, following our acquisition of John Ansell and Partners, where he had worked since 2000. Craig is responsible for looking after the BAHIS Activity Insurance scheme and has done so for over 15 years. He likes nothing more than roaming the mountains of the UK and also enjoys sailing and is willing to have a go at all manner of outdoor activities. Craig has run various half marathons and completed the London Marathon once (in the distant past) and can be found in the gym on the odd occasion.

Danny joined CLEAR in 2009 having worked in the insurance sector for 15 years first as an Underwriter dealing with large Property Owner portfolios for a major UK insurer. He crossed over to the broking sector in 2001 as an Account Handler at a National Broker progressing to Account Executive. Before joining CLEAR, Danny spent 2 years working for an independent broker in the City of London. Danny has a wife and two children who he says keep him busy and out of trouble (sometimes!). His interests include golf and going to the gym (sometimes!).
Being an avid Fulham supporter didn't affected Dave's ability to settle into the Private Clients team when he joined us in July 2009. Dave has experience in maintaining clients' Home, Motor and Let Property insurances. Dave has also attained the CII Certificate in Insurance.
David joined CLEAR in December 2020. David has so far enjoyed a long career in insurance, starting in 1992, always within the Lloyd's and London Market focusing principally in the UK property and liability insurances but with experience of specialist areas including professional indemnity, personal accident and kidnap & ransom. David's hobbies are playing golf and watching sport, going to the gym and socialising with friends & family.
Dawn joined CLEAR in 2018, following our acquisition of John Ansell and Partners, where she had worked since 1986. Initially, Dawn dealt with motor insurance however, over the years this has expanded to home and travel insurance. She has also handled day to day claims issues for her previous business and for her sins, credit control! Dawn has a busy home life which includes caring for her disabled mum. When Dawn is not so busy, she enjoys holidays, gardening and all things cars. She likes going to classic car shows (owning a 1976 MG) and has been to the Monaco GP onceand hopes to go again.
Dawn joined CLEAR in 2002 and has a great number of years of experience in the insurance industry having worked with clients in all the major classes of insurance including marine, hauliers, carehomes/charities, property etc. Dawn has attained the CII Diploma in Insurance.
Dean has spent virtually all of his career working in the insurance industry; working in both general commercial and professional indemnity insurance sectors. The last 14 years have been spent providing specialist guidance in relation to rights of light and Legal Indemnity insurances. During this time Dean has gained a wealth of experience and has been involved a number of high profile developments around London and the surrounding area. Dean oversaw the first £500m rights of light insurance cover placement in the market and has played an integral part in the development and evolution of rights of light products, such as helping in the development of products that enable client to engage with affected parties whilst have having a safety net of a suitable insurance product should negotiations not go to plan. This is what is known as a proactive approach solution; a model that has been adopted and provided regularly by most insurers in the market depending upon the client's risk profile, requirements and attitude towards risk.
Debbie joined CLEAR in January 2014 as an Account Handler and has worked in the insurance industry for 16 years dealing with commercial clients. She has also attained the CII Certificate in Insurance. In her spare time, Debbie is a netball umpire and occassionally enjoys playing.
Deniz joined CLEAR in 2015 having worked at Emson for 3 years. Deniz has attained the CII Certificate in Insurance and handles many classes of commercial business ranging in client sizes. In his spare time he enjoys socialising with friends and playing sports.
Emilia previously worked for SEIB as an account handler for the Equestrian Service Department. In her spare time she like spending time with her horses and competing at local events on the weekends.
Emily joined CLEAR in 2018 with over fifteen years' experience working in the Private Client and Commercial Insurance Sectors. Emily specialises in supporting growing start-up companies and provides invaluable contacts and in-depth knowledge within the London area. She spends time singing with a leading London choir, performing at large venues with international music bands and orchestras. Emily also enjoys food, film and theatre, regularly attending sporting events and new London venues and festivals.
Emma joined CLEAR in February 2019 to help execute Clear's acquisitions strategy. This involves assessing and valuing acquisition opportunities, directing due diligence, preparing investment papers and managing the legal process. A Chartered Accountant with 6 years M&A lead advisory experience at PwC advising both buyers and sellers, she also headed up the finance function at energy start-up Bulb through its growth from £300m to £900m revenue, a £60m equity raise and a debt raise. A keen lindyhop dancer, baker and a fickle enthusiasm for running.
Felix joined CLEAR in 2020 and is an experienced Account Executive that specialises in rights of light indemnity insurance. He has worked for the two market leading rights of light firms which has given him the skill set to understand and provide bespoke assistance on any case. Out of the office, Felix enjoys traveling around the countryside to either attempt to play polo or shoot.
Finbar joined CLEAR in October 2017. He started his insurance career at Layton Blackham in 2003, subsequently moving to Stuart Alexander in 2005 (which became Bluefin in 2009). He has a season ticket at Tottenham and also enjoys playing golf.
Fran joined CLEAR in 2014, have worked in the Insurance industry for over 20 years, with experience of both handling insurances aswell as claims. Fran lives on a smallholding and keeps a few sheep & chicken. She is also a Scout leader and a trained Air Rifle and Archery Instructor. Like all of us, Fran enjoys her holidays and is also a keen skier.
Gary joined our team in December 2019 from Sutton Winson Ltd, where he was a Client Manager for 7 years. Gary has worked in the insurance industry for the last 30 years with the majority of his experience having been gained with brokers in the South East. Gary has a particular interest in large motor trade, construction and latent defects risks. He also has experience in providing risk and insurance solutions to the rapidly expanding 'sharing economy' whether this be for cars or bikes. Married with two grown up boys, Gary is a silver member at Arsenal and tries to get along to a handful of games each season. He also enjoys watching test cricket in the summer and going to the gym.
Gary has worked in commercial broking for a decade, dealing with clients of vastly differing sizes- from small SMEs through to international companies. He has achieved the Advanced Diploma in Insurance making him an ACII Chartered Broker. Outside of work Gary is a big fan of both football and film, although his affinity towards Aston Villa is severely testing the former. He also enjoys reading interesting non-fiction, travelling to new places, "socialising" (we all know what that really means) and lazy Sundays spent with the family.
Gary joined CLEAR in 2014, with 10 years experience dealing with personal and commercial insurances. Gary has also achieved the CII Certificate of Insurance. He is a keen football player and supports Tottenham Hotspur. Gary likes socialising and spending time with his 6 year old son Oliver

Gary joined us as a Private Client's Advisor in April 2013. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, dealing with both Personal & Commercial insurance's. He has worked for a major insurance company in addition to a well-known Personal Lines Broker and he has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. Gary is a keen Cricketer and enjoys most sports. He is also a keen gardener and even keeps chickens.
Gemma joined CLEAR in March 2020, having previously worked for another insurance broker for 16 years. During her time there, Gemma gained experience working in a variety of roles such as; Customer Service Manager, Head of Systems and Development and Operations Manager. Gemma thrives on helping people, taking on new challenges and problem solving. She also enjoys socialising with friends and family.
George joined CLEAR in August 2020 as an apprentice, having completed his A-levels and left full time education. In between schooling, George worked at a warehouse where his duties included payroll and some admin based work. His interests/hobbies include; football, skiing, scuba diving (PADI qualified) and going to the gym.
Gill has worked in the Insurance industry for over 30 years. Her role is Small Business Account Handler. She enjoy walking her dog, family "get togethers" and holidays in the sun.
Gill joined CLEAR in 2018 following our acquisition of Genavco. Gill is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute with over 38 years of claims and client relationship management experience , gained in both the insurance company and broker market. Prior to her current role, Gill worked for leading insurance companies and also a major property investor (in their insurance department). Gill's claims experience covers a wide spectrum of products including commercial property, commercial and residential property owners, liability (legal liabilities), personal lines, travel and commercial package with an understanding of lease wordings, especially in relation to insurance matters. She is also Director and Company Secretary of the Management Company for the flats in which she lives. Gill's hobbies include photography, sport and walking.
Guy joined CLEAR in 2018 with over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, covering most classes of corporate business. His interests include cricket, golf, darts, music and reading.
Hannah worked for a South London broker for four years before joining CLEAR in 2008. She now looks after a book of existing business and has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. Hannah enjoys married life and is a keen cook. Her interests also include playing hockey and netball, festivals and live bands.
Hayley joined Morrison Insurance Solutions in 2015 on a HR Graduate Scheme after completing a psychology degree at Loughborough University. Hayley has been in a HR role since, obtaining my Level 5 certificate in human resource management and providing a comprehensive HR and H&S support to the business. She has now moved into a group role for CLEAR, following our acquisition of Morrison Insurance Solutions. In her spare time, Hayley enjoys being active by planning tennis for a local club, jogging and long walks in the country. She also loves socialising, cooking and is often planning he next place to travel to.

Helen joined CLEAR in March 2014 as Operations Manager and is now Regional Manager for our Leamington Spa office. Prior to this, Helen spent 22 years at RSA in a variety of roles including; Underwriting, Projects, Operations and Trading. Her interests include racketball, DIY and spending time with her family.
Hollie joined CLEAR in 2020 and is an experienced PA. Having worked alongside rights of light Surveyors and most recently assisting Dean Perkin with insurance matters, she has also gained experience having previously worked within an accountancy firm as a PA to three of the partners. In her spare time Hollie can be found enjoying the wide assortment of music festivals that London has to offer throughout the year! As well as travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Hollie has worked in her current role for 8 years, handling both Commercial and Event insurances. Hollie deals with a variety of clients from SMEs to larger Commercial clients, and she is also Cert CII qualified. Hollie enjoys spending time with her Son and Partner, Shopping and going to the gym.
Howard has been running financial services businesses since the 1980s and was one of the founders of Clear in 2001. After many years as CEO he is now our Group Chair with responsibility for our M&A programme and our relationships with carriers.
As the self-confessed "old man" in CLEAR he is dedicated to make sure that we live up to our vision and values and "do the right thing" (well, as often as possible!) and keep our informal, approachable style. Howard is also a keen sports fan and cook whenever his grandchildren permit.
Ian joined CLEAR in 2018, following our acquisition of John Ansell and Partners, having worked in the insurance broking industry for nearly 30 years. His hobbies include watching motor sports/F1 and his weekends are filled up with taking his two children to play for their local football teams.

Ian has worked in the insurance Industry for 40 years including 15 years as part of the Aon UK Senior Management Team. He was then invited to invest in the Leicester based Broker BHIB and Broking Group Brokerbility following an MBO. As a shareholder and owner he saw the business enjoy 14 years of sustained growth both organic and via acquisition culminating in the sale to Clear Group in 2020, Ian is now on the main board of Clear Group and his responsibilities include leading the Broking Group Brokerbility and the Midlands offices which include; Leicester, Northampton, Alcester, Leamington Spa, Spalding and Bedford. In addition to this work Ian also provides consultancy support to Aviva Club 110 brokers as well as working on the Aviva Future Leader Programme (future leaders of Club 110 and Key Partner Independent brokers) as a mentor.

Isobel had been working for Morrison Insurance Solutions for just over 16 years, dealing with various operational / office management tasks and IT issues. In 2019, CLEAR acquired Morrison Insurance Solution and Isobel subsequently moved into a group IT role for CLEAR. Outside of work, Isobel is a keen equestrian and is on the committee of her local British Riding Club. She also enjoys spending time with her family & friends, doing puzzle books and cross stitch.
James joined CLEAR in 2014 with over 10 years experience in the insurance industry in a variety of roles including schemes business and risk management for medium to large enterprises particularly focusing on companies within Specialist Manufacturing, IT and Tech, and Niche Property Owners. James graduated from Kingston University with a BA (Hons) in English Literature. James is a keen follower of the F1, enjoys playing fair weather golf and is an avid reader and film watcher.
Jan joined Richard Bryant to form Bryant Kesek in April 1985, which became part of CLEAR in 2011. He enjoys a variety of sports particularly squash, tennis and golf. Jan loves leisure sailing and socialising (with the occasional glass of wine in hand).

Jason joined CLEAR in January 2020, with 20 years experience in the insurance industry. The past 15 of these were spent in commercial insurance, developing and building niche schemes varying from commercial to property owners. In his spare time Jason likes to spend time with his family (wife and 2 young girls) which takes up a lot of time. He has an interest in music and plays the drums when he can and he also likes various sports including rugby and football (although being an Aston Villa supporter does make it hard sometimes).
Jen has worked in insurance for 8 years, starting off in personal lines and progressing to commercial insurance broking. Her hobbies are socialising, running and seeing live music.

Jenna joined CLEAR in 2020, with a proven track record of delivering accounting support to finance departments within the insurance sector. She is currently working toward the finals of the ACCA accreditation. Jenna has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of day-to-day and strategic accountancy as well as the associated FCA regulatory requirements. Combining this technical and regulatory expertise with strong people management skills, Jenna has added genuine value to businesses throughout her career. In her spare time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends and baking.
Jo joined CLEAR in 2003 and works part time, predominantly dealing with property insurances for Commercial Team clients and assisting the Property Team when needed. Jo also helps the Accounts Team out when required, so is our jack of all trades! She has a busy family life with two young sons who keep her on her toes learning new skills in rugby, football, karate and golf and for spare moments (when are these?!!) she enjoy sailing, baking, reading and crossword puzzles.
Joan joined CLEAR in the summer of 2006 after many years in a similar role with a large broker. She is responsible for running and developing our Private Clients Team. Her speciality is advising on High Net Worth Home Insurance.
Joanne joined our ProFin team in September 2020, having worked in insurance for over 15 years both locally and in London. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going out to eat and days out with friends.

Jodie joined Morrison Insurance Solutions in 2005 who were then acquired by CLEAR 14 years later in 2019. Jodie has previously held varying roles from claims, to sales and marketing and then senior management before being invited into a group role for CLEAR. Jodie's current role as Group Sales and Marketing Director will see her responsible for creating and driving the sales and marketing strategy for the group focussing on the retention, new business and cross sell initiatives within the business in support of organic growth. Whilst her number one thing to do is spend quality time with her husband and daughter, Jodie also enjoys spinning, running, shopping and Sauvignon Blanc!
Joe has worked in insurance for many years. He's an avid sports lover and also enjoys quizzes. For Joe, it's not the winning but the taking part that matters.

John has been involved with Group Risk and Healthcare benefits for over 25 years, mainly specialising in Life Assurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness cover. He previously worked with Mercer and Gallagher. Outside of work, John enjoys a game of golf and trying to fit in some casual cycling and walking as his exercising. John also like to go to at least two or three music gigs each year. Now that his two daughters are grown up and supposedly self sufficient, he should in theory have more time to enjoy his pastimes.
John's insurance career started with the NFU in 1978 before joining CLEAR in 1989. Born and raised on a farm, John understands the insurance needs of the farming community and associated businesses. He enjoys most sports and tries to stay active. He has 4 grandchildren who are lovely but exhaust him.

Jonathan started his insurance career as an underwriter for RSA, spending 5 years developing his technical knowledge and gaining an understanding of the industry. He then moved into broking in 2013, taking on account management and client facing roles. When he's not talking insurance or networking, he will be spending his energy and time with his young daughter or keeping fit in the gym, on a badminton court or on a football pitch. Football is a passion if not a depression as a supporter of Aston Villa. His garden allotment is his main sanctuary and something to focus on for retirement!
Julie joined CLEAR in 2018 following our acquisition of Robert Alexander, where she had worked for 18 years dealing with all aspects of insurance. Julie's great passion is theatre but she also enjoys gardening and has an allotment. She is also a keen cyclist.
Katie joined CLEAR in 2011 via our acquisition of MHC/Marketline, where she had worked for 14 years. Whilst at CLEAR, Katie has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance and progressed to a supervisory role within Marketline, our scheme for market traders. Katie transferred from Marketline to our Corporate team in September 2019 and is enjoying learning about the various different products our Corporate team offer and dealing with new and different insurers. Being a music fan, she loves going to concerts and festivals and also enjoys socialising with friends (with the odd glass or two). Katie likes watching football and goes to watch Arsenal play whenever she can get a ticket. She also enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym.
Katrina joined our team in May 2019 having worked in Insurance since 2006, starting out with a Horse and Pet Insurance company in Godalming in Surrey. She was there for 2 and half years before moving to Robinson Buckley Insurance Brokers (also in Godalming) which is where she stayed for just over 10 years. Outside of work, Katrina enjoys holidays with her husband (both in the UK and abroad - Vietnam being their top favourite so far), camping (but prefer glamping), walking, running, the gym, socialising and the odd glass of wine.

Kerry is one of the founding members of CLEAR, having joined us back in 1997, and is a stalwart of our HR team dealing with payroll, benefits, ER issues, general HR responsibilities and general office facilities. Kerry enjoys interacting with and building relationships with people across all of our offices. Kerry keeps busy with her family life outside of work and, when time allows, she likes to cook and watch a good film.
Kevin joined CLEAR in 2015 and brings with him over 20 years experience within the insurance industry. His experience ranges from underwriting to broking to being responsible for the property/commercial department at his previous employer. With a young family, two boys, leisure time is dominated by their demands especially football on Saturday and Sunday mornings however he likes to swim whenever possible and enjoys good food and good company.

Kirsten joined our finance team in November 2019. She is a qualified accountant with over 10 years experience in the insurance market at brokers and Lloyd's underwriters. She has a keen interest in cricket, rugby and gardening.
Lawrence worked for Steveni Kessler, who were acquired by CLEAR, for 12 years. Prior to this Lawrence had worked for MPIB before Steveni Kessler acquired the company. Lawrence is a specialist in scout and fleet Insurance but can turn his hand to most classes of insurance. He has achieved the CII Diploma in Insurance.
Lianne has been working in the commercial team since January 2008. She deals with small business policies aswell as sourcing legal indemnity insurance policies for solicitors. Lianne has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance and also won our employee of the year award in 2015. Lianne loves sports and socialising.
With years of experience as a claims technician and negotiator, Lisa is dedicated to making sure that our clients get the best claims service we can give them. She is particularly strong in property claims.
Lisa joined CLEAR in November 2019 following almost 3 years at NFU dealing with both private and commercial clients. She is both a committee member and the Secretary of Welland Yacht Club and she usually spends her time outside of work socialising with friends and family.

Lucy joined CLEAR in June 2019, from a Legal Indemnity Insurer. Moving from underwriting to business development manager in her previous role means she can now utilise her knowledge and enthusiasm to exceed client expectations in her new role as a Legal Indemnities Broker. In her spare time, Lucy loves trying to squeeze in as many weekend city breaks as possible to satisfy her love for travel (and cocktails).

Magdalena joined CLEAR in 2017, having working in the insurance industry for 7 years. She studied bookkeeping and AAT at Richmond college and is hoping to gain further accounting qualifications. She likes art and enjoys painting in her spare time and reading crime fiction books. Magdalena also enjoys running and watching formula 1.
Mar joined CLEAR in March 2020. She began her career as an Application Support Analyst with Barclays Wealth, supporting their investment platforms. She then moved to Amaryllis Group Holdings to support their ERP systems and, within a couple of years, she took over the IT Manager role for Amaryllis in charge of the entire IT service provision for the company. In her spare time, Mar enjoys walking her dogs, cycling, yoga and spending time with family and friends.
Maria joined CLEAR in December 2018 with over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, previously working for a local broker in Coventry and prior to that, Towergate Insurance. Maria has two children and outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, friends and socialising in general.
Mark joined CLEAR in 2017, having previously worked within property claims at Aviva for 11 years. He is passionate about customer needs and providing a great service for clients. He has a passion for sports including football, american football and boxing, along with music, film and socialising.

Matthew joined our Arborplan team in January 2018, having previously worked for Stackhouse Poland in Guildford, IPS insurance in Guildford and Trade direct Insurance in Godalming. He has worked in Insurance since the early 2000s and specializes in Real Estate and Liability Insurance. Matthew is also Cert CII qualified. He enjoys travelling, golf, the gym, cinema, music and following his football team - Spurs.
Mel has worked at CLEAR since 1992 and specialises in Commercial Lines insurance and accounts. As one of our longest serving employees, there is little that she doesn't know about the workings of the office! Mel has also achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. She enjoys cooking, holidays, live bands and socialising with friends.

Melanie has worked in the insurance industry in Kent, Sussex and London for over 30 years, holding a variety of different positions within commercial brokers. She is now looking after our Horsham branch as well as assisting the board on specific projects. Out of the office she enjoys live music, cinema and the occasional gin and tonic.
Previously a consultant to CLEAR, Mike took over the role of IT Manager in August 2006 and held that position until November 2017, helping Clear successfully navigate the technology challenges of five-fold growth. He now applies his considerable expertise in Technology and Strategy shaping and delivering special projects across the scope of Operations and IT.
Mike was appointed as the Clear Group's CEO in January 2021. Mike previously spent 5 years at A-Plan Insurance, initially as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and more latterly as the Managing Director (MD), during a period of significant growth. Before joining A-Plan Mike held Managing Director roles within Capita plc, leading the turnaround of Lancaster Insurance, a niche specialist lines broker, and a portfolio of 6 medical companies as MD Specialist Medical Businesses. Prior to his time in Capita Mike spent 7 years at BGL Group in various leadership roles across e-commerce, change management, claims and business development. Before entering the insurance sector Mike spent 17 years in the military. During that time he held leadership positions in the Parachute Regiment and was a staff officer in the Ministry of Defence.
Miki started as a HNW household broker for some years, she has also managed the OpenGI system for that brokerage (John Charcol). Miki also worked for Marketline as an on-call contractor for several years to manage their OpenGI platform and some basic management information.
Mollie started her career in insurance at Towergate Riskline gaining valuable experience in commercial insurance. In her free time Mollie enjoys going to the gym, socialising and spending time with friends and family
Nanette joined our Leamington office in July 2018 with over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. She initially started out as an Accounts Clerk in a high street brokers and got drafted in to help out in busy periods. Since then she has worked for several brokers in the Coventry area, but mainly HIA International where she worked for 10 years as a Commercial Account Manager, and Gallaghers (formerly Oval Insurance) for five years. In her spare time, Nanette enjoys cooking and travelling.
Neil has nearly 30 years of experience working with leading insurers and loss adjusters. In this newly created role, Neil will be responsible for developing our Claims service and co-ordinating the integration between Claims and the other teams at both our head office in the City and our regional offices. His overall objective is to make our Claims team even more efficient and effective as we continue to expand. In his spare time, Neil enjoys reading, golf, water activities, spending time with his nephews & niece and regular concerts at the Albert Hall.
Neil joined our Property Team in 2013 with 12 years experience in the London property owners market, with a variety of Brokers. He is a keen sportsman, enjoying golf and cricket.

Nick joined CLEAR in 2004. He previously worked as Underwriting Manager at a City broker and was a Commercial Team Manager at AXA. He is heavily involved in the professional community. Nick enjoys travelling and is a keen snowboarder.

Nick has over twenty years' experience within employee benefits and has extensive knowledge of risk and healthcare programmes. Nick has worked for Willis Towers Watson, Mercer Marsh and Bluefin and prior to embracing consultancy work also worked for group risk insurers. One of Nick's specialisms is key person protection which led to him appearing on CNBC's breakfast tv show, Squawk Box to talk about the virtues of businesses arranging such cover.
Outside of work Nick watches and engages all sports particularly rugby, golf and cricket. He and his family enjoy travelling and eating out. Nick enjoys nothing more than spending time with his family and trying to keep up with his young daughter!
Nick joined Clear in 2015 following the sale of his business to Clear. He is responsible for majority of Broking Teams in our London Office, including Corporate, City Commercial, ProFin, Legal Indemnities, Employee Benefits and Private Clients. He is also a founder of Clear's COVID-19 response team and in charge of International Business placement. Nick has a particular specialisation in the construction sector.

Nigel joined CLEAR as Claims Consultant in 2018. He started his career working in the motor department for a general insurer in 1974 before moving to the claims department 5 years later. In 1985, he moved to British Gas eventually becoming claims manager at a corporate level for the parent company, Centrica plc. Throughout those years, Nigel was involved in both insured and self-insured claims mainly on a liability basis. Since leaving Centrica he has completed a computer science degree and worked for a broker in a claims role. His interests are computers, american football, tottenham and reading crime thrillers and history.
Oliver has 17 years of insurance experience, over 12 years of these at CLEAR. Oliver deals with Commercial clients, ranging from Property Owners to Popcorn Manufacturers and Accountants to Aquatic sellers. Oliver is a family man and enjoys being outdoors (with watching his lad play rugby, daughter swimming or having tea & cake at National Trust properties). He also enjoys cycling and squash.
Paul joined CLEAR with his team 2009. He is now an Associate Director and looks after compliance issues. He enjoys most sports, but in particular snowboarding and motor bikes. Travelling is another passion, with a soft spot for France where he also lives.
Paul joined the Commercial team at CLEAR in July 2009 having gained many years experience in this field . Paul has also achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. A keen golfer although his handicap has yet to be challenged!
Paul joined CLEAR in Summer 2014, having worked in the insurance industry for 18 years dealing with a wide spectrum of commercial class business. Paul is also proud to have achieved his ACII qualification and Chartered Insurance Broker status. His interests include keeping (reasonably) fit by going to the gym, bootcamp, cycling and playing squash. Alternatively, Paul likes to be in the pub with his friends or colleagues. Paul also likes to follow football and is a West Ham United fan.

Philip was appointed as the Clear Group's COO in April 2022. Philip joined from Simply Business where he undertook a number of roles during his 8 years there, including General Manager for Operations and Managing Director MGA. Prior to this Philip worked for Capita plc, Nationwide and BGL Group. In addition, Philip is currently the Non-Executive Director of the Society of Underwriting Professionals. Philip holds an ACII, is a Chartered Insurance Underwriting Agent and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. Outside of work, Philip enjoys running and following football with his young family.
Rachel worked as a Business Analyst at NPower and NFU Mutual, had a few years off after having her son and then joined Morrison Insurance Solutions in 2015. In 2020, Rachel moved into a Group role for CLEAR after we acquired Morrison Insurance Solutions. In her spare time, Rachel volunteers for the local foodbank and watches too much Netflix while crocheting or knitting and drinking wine.
Having joined CLEAR in 2004 with over 20 years' experience as a broker in the City, Rob specialised in the development of major corporate clients and in that time he has dealt with many diverse sectors including technology, life science, medical malpractice and construction, and at one point was instrumental in setting up a number of London based insurance facilities for Iraq! More recently Rob has focussed on the specific area of right of light insurance where he is recognised as one of the leading insurance specialists in this field, and in 2010 he was invited to author the insurance section of the RICS working paper on rights of light surveying. He remains an active member of the RICS working group. Rob has developed strong working relationships with major specialist surveyors, solicitors and financiers, and assists developers by providing insurance advice and arranging the placement of bespoke rights of light and other related legal Indemnity policies.
Robbie joined CLEAR in May 2019, having graduated from the University of the West of England in June 2018. He actively pursued his interest in the insurance world through work experience with Marsh in their International Property team and Gallagher's, joining their Academy Week. His hobbies include golf, skiing, motorsport and football. He also has an interest in travelling, having travelled in South America and through Europe previously.
Robert moved over to CLEAR at the start of November 2019 having previously worked on-site through our MSP. Robert's lifelong love of technology and puzzle-solving led him to work in IT, his interest in offloading complex processes to automation have changed the way internal processes are handled within the CLEAR IT Dept. Outside of work; his interest in Automation, Robotics, and Machine Learning have manifested into him building a life-size R2D2 Astromech. Rob also enjoys cooking, reading and snowboarding, although not at the same time.
Rodney joined CLEAR in 1983 dealing with Farm and associated insurances having previously worked for the NFU. Outside work (which isn't often, ask his wife…) Rodney enjoys fine wine and is an active member of a number of investment clubs. He and his wife Liz have two grown up children.
Ryan joined CLEAR from Towergate in 2015 and has been working in insurance broking since 1986. He predominantly deals with SME's and corporate businesses and has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. Ryan is married and has two daughters. He has a range of interests that include photography, football and is a lifelong supporter of Peterborough United.

Sarah is a Project Manager and Vendor Liaison with over nine years' experience in the Lloyd's, mutual and general insurance markets. Most recently, she has been the main project point of contact for external clients in a large-scale policy and claims system implementation within a bespoke software vendor. When not managing projects, Sarah enjoys spending time with her daughter (as long as it's not home-schooling), pilates, cooking and charity work with SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
Sarah joined CLEAR in January 2020 with several years experience in the insurance industry. She started out in personal lines in 2008 and worked in this area for several years. Then in 2017, she moved over to SME commercial insurance lines at another local insurance broker. This is Sarah's first time working for a city-based insurance broker. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys crime documentaries, shopping and spending time with her dog.

Sharon joined CLEAR as part of our acquisition of Emson where she had previously worked for 32 years, and her role was Associate Director/Commercial Team Manager. During this time, Sharon achieved the CII Diploma in Insurance. In her free time she enjoys playing netball and spending time with family and friends.
Stephen joined CLEAR in 2018, following our acquisition of Genavco. Stephen brings with him over 40 years insurance management and broking experience in the London and Lloyd's insurance markets. During this time he has developed a broad multi-class insurance knowledge. The majority of his career has been to provide risk management services to a major luxury retail brand / departmental store. His main interests are in the visual arts, music and motor sport.
Stephen joined CLEAR in 2015 having worked in insurance for over 20 years. In terms of hobbies he occasionally plays rugby all the way up in Warrington (240 miles away in Cheshire) and has done so for twenty odd years. He tries to go up a couple of times a year as he is godfather to several children in the area. He is a family man and has three daughters. He plays golf badly and being an ex-plumber, his wife keeps him busy with endless jobs around the house.

Steve is a Senior Private Clients adviser dealing mainly with High Net Worth Home Insurance where we have our own specialist facilities. He joined CLEAR in December 2006 after a number of years with a large Broker in Hampton Hill. Steve has also passed the CII Certificate in Insurance. You can't fault his commitment - he often commutes in from just outside Bournemouth! But then he is a Liverpool supporter…
Steve joined CLEAR in 2012, with 18 years experience of telemarketing, sales and business development experience spread across a variety of industries such as telecoms and security. Due to Steve working in the security industry, he obtained an SIA license up to door supervisor level. Unfortunately he does not have the build of your average bouncer! He loves watching movies and reading a lot, taking his Kindle with him everywhere he goes. Steve is a very keen West Ham supporter and loves spending time with his wife Naomi and two children.
Stewart joined CLEAR in 2016 with almost 20 years of Lloyd's broking and client advisory experience. He delivers insurance solutions within the Worldwide professional indemnity sector but also advises and places financial institutions, directors & officers liability, advertising agents indemnity, cyber and crime Insurances. With excellent relationships within Lloyd's and company markets he gives multi-line insurance options to a diverse book of business which includes trust managers, financial services organisations, advertising agencies, Lloyd's & general insurance brokers, media & technology, architects, P&I clubs, engineers, mortgage brokers, solicitors and other advisory professions.
Stuart joined CLEAR in 2002, having previously worked for another provincial broker for 4 years and as an underwriter with Commercial Union for 4 years prior to that. Stuart has undertaken various client servicing roles whilst at CLEAR, plus some involvement in Operations, Compliance and IT. His current role is Account Handler. Stuart spends most of his time outside with his young son, but when he can he enjoys running and playing cricket. He also likes to watch both Football and Formula One, plus live stand-up comedy.
Susan joined CLEAR in 2018 following our acquisition of Genavco where she had worked as the office manager. Prior to this, Susan worked for Insurance companies in various roles within - Accounts, Claims, Marketing & Commercial Underwriting. In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, going to the theatre and travelling.

Tim joined CLEAR in 2020 as our Chief Financial Officer. Tim is a Chartered Accountant, has extensive experience of financial services and private equity and was previously Finance Director at the Hastings Group. Tim also enjoys spending time with his family, football and skiing.
Tony joined CLEAR in September 2016, as Operations Manager. With over 20 years experience in the industry, Tony has specialised in Property Owners insurance. Tony has obtained his Diploma with CII. Outside of work he is a keen golfer and regularly competes for his club. He also spends most of his weekends watching his two young children playing football and has passed on his love of Arsenal FC to them both.
Before joining CLEAR in 2015, Tracey worked for Emson Corporate Services for 3 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the theatre and travelling.
Tracey worked for a local broker for five years before joining CLEAR in 2002. Having worked in the commercial team she subsequently joined the claims department. She has also achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. Her interests include travelling, listening to music and going to the gym. Tracey got married in November 2009.
Tracey joined CLEAR in November 2019, with 20 years experience within the insurance motor industry dealing a vast range of claims. She specifically enjoys getting to know clients and mentoring. Outside of work her main interests are cooking, walking and reading.

Tracy joined CLEAR in 2011. Tracy is an integral member of the team, as Operations Manager. She was formally the Office Manager for the London branch and also the Director of Marketline Insurance Services Limited, with whom CLEAR are strongly associated. She has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. Tracy is a sociable member of the team and likes to keep up with the football, in particular to follow Arsenal.
Vanessa joined CLEAR in 2000, initially as a Personal Lines handler but successfully moving into the world of Commercial Insurance. As a longstanding member of the office, she has a great in depth knowledge of our client. In her spare time she enjoys socialising and visiting antique fairs.
Vicky joined CLEAR in 2011, having worked for nearly five years in personal lines. She has achieved the CII Insurance diploma. Vicky loves socialising and going to the gym.
Victoria joined CLEAR in January 2020. Having completed a law degree in 2002, Victoria has over 20 years' global experience in the Insurance Industry working with growing insurance/reinsurance companies. Joining the Group Operating Board in August 2021, Victoria is responsible for ensuring our People Strategy is aligned with our Business Strategy. When not working, Victoria embraces her artistic side which includes face painting anyone who will sit still long enough.
Victoria joined Leamington in December 2017 as a Trainee Account Handler. She is new to the world of insurance but is excited to learn and progress. She is a keen gym goer, avid skier and a prolific reader. She is also an animal lover and is likely to be found spending her free time with her four guinea pigs and dog.
Virginia joined CLEAR in 2018 following our acquisition of Genavco Insurance, which she joined in 1990. Virginia began life at Genavco as a junior secretary, developing into an accounts assistant and then PA to Managing Director. For the last 15 years, she has been working in the broking team. Virginia enjoys reading and going to the theatre.

Yemi first joined the insurance industry back in 2006 working for a major high street insurer. Since then he has gained over 13 years of experience as a city broker working as an account manager. In his spare time Yemi enjoys playing football, cycling, travelling and socialising with friends.
Yvonne joined our Spalding Office in April 2019, having worked for both insurance companies and insurance brokers for nearly 40 years. In her spare time, Yvonne supports Tottenham Hotspurs and follows F1. She also shows, breeds and judges Pyrenean Mountain Dogs - travelling around the UK most weekends.
