Iann became a valued member of the Saxon Corporate Sales team in 2023. Before joining Saxon, he served as a crucial player within Netzero Capital's team, diligently identifying and capitalising on prospective opportunities within the dynamic spheres of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. His discerning acumen for nascent trends and innovative projects underpinned a succession of profitable investments, establishing him as an insightful analyst respected within the industry. Iann is an alumnus of Bayes Business School, having earned a 2.1 Honours Degree in BSc Business with Finance. While at Bayes, he also notably co-founded the Crypto Blockchain Society, a testament to his early engagement within the crypto industry.
Before Saxon Advisors James worked in investment banking at Berenberg Bank, the oldest Investment Bank in the world and one of the most lauded institutions in Europe, where he specialised in equity investment opportunities within the blockchain technology space. For three years, James was part of the equity research team, composing valuations, market research, and evaluative reports for companies. Through his rotational program at university, James also worked for Hutton Capital, Mallowstreet, Cantor Fitzgerald, and Sydenhams. James holds an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics, and a First-Class Honours Degree in BSc Management with International Business from the University of London.
Before Saxon Advisors, Karim held enterprise sales roles in cloud services companies, including Oracle, Kong and Zscaler, driving over > 50m in sales with companies in the DACH market. Karim studied Blockchain Strategy at Oxford University in 2018 and holds a dual MBA from the Columbia Business School in New York and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.
Prior to joining Saxon Advisors, Mohak founded WolfEdge Capital, a Hong Kong-domiciled digital asset investment fund, where he remains the Chief Executive Officer. WolfEdge Capital has invested in more than 30 different crypto assets using a 47 metric analysis system and operates validator nodes on more than 10 networks. Prior to entering the cryptocurrency industry, Mohak worked as a Senior Developer at a Singapore-based EdTech startup, XSEED Education, where he was responsible for developing educational games and conducting pilot programs all over India. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from UPTU, India.
Prior to Saxon Advisors, Rhys worked at Alphachain Capital as a proprietary trader. Rhys holds a 2.1 Honours Degree in BSc Economics from the University of Nottingham.
Prior to joining Saxon, Saul worked as an analyst at Digital Asset Consulting International. He obtained a First-Class Degree in BSc Economics from the University of Exeter and is studying for a Global Masters in Blockchain Technologies at Zigurat Global Institute of Technology. Saul has passed unit one of the CFA Investment Management Certificate and is working towards unit two.
Sebastian joined Saxon in 2020 with an initial focus on Corporate Sales and Token Valuations. He has worked with a multitude of clients such as Concordium, iTrust, and Totem. Since 2022, his efforts have been centred on heading up the company capital raising division where he has spearheaded consecutive raises such as Magpie and Ethereal. Sebastian holds a First-Class Honours Degree in BSc Economics from the University of Exeter.
Prior to Saxon Advisors, Steven was a Partner at SmartBlock Capital, an investment advisory firm that focused on seed stage cryptocurrency projects and a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual. He holds a BS in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from Tulane University Freeman School of Business.
Prior to Saxon Advisors, Thomas was the CEO of Blockchain Infrastructure AG, a publicly listed holding company in Germany with multiple subsidiaries and holdings within the Blockchain sector, and the Managing Partner of Kemex Capital, a privately-owned company, trading and investing in physical commodities.
Tom joined the Saxon team in 2022, focusing his efforts on leading the capital raising division. Under his guidance, Tom has worked with key clients, including Minima, Kawa, Magpie, Virtue Alliance, and Landvault. Tom earned his Master's Degree in Business Marketing from Imperial College London, bringing valuable knowledge and a practical skill set to the firm. His accomplishments and dedication affirm his significant role at Saxon.
Before Saxon Advisors, Ultan held numerous leadership and sales roles within early-stage technology companies. He has founded two venture-backed businesses, including Release (an affiliate marketing software provider), which since 2015, has grown to be a notable SaaS platform and recognised in the KPMG Shift 100 list of leading marketing technology companies in the UK. Ultan is also an alumnus of technology startup accelerators, Ignite, and Collider, where he mentors incoming first-time entrepreneurs. He holds a BA from the University of London, where he read Human Geography at Royal Holloway and Theories Regional Economic Development at the London School of Economics.
