Dave joined AIC Ventures in 2005. As President, Dave oversees all facets of the organization including Acquisitions, Investor Relations, Portfolio Operations, Finance and Human Resources. Before being promoted to the role of President, Dave led Investor Relations and Marketing for the company where he completed the capital raise for five investment funds and tripled the size of the investor base. Before AIC Ventures, Dave was Global Account Manager for Dell, where he directed the worldwide strategic relationship with the companies' largest client, Exxon Mobil. Before Dell, he was a Director at Level (3) Communications, where he led global IT initiatives designed to support the rapidly scaling organization in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He started his career with Compaq Computer Corporation where he served in various sales and marketing capacities. Dave is active in the Young Presidents Organization and has served as Networking, Education and Chapter Chair in the Austin chapter. He is an active Pet Therapy volunteer at Dell Children's Hospital with his Golden Retriever, Yeti. He earned a BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.

Laura joined AIC Ventures in January 2015. Her responsibilities include leading AIC Ventures' investor relations team in the management of and communication to existing and prospective investors. She has 20 years of investment banking, private equity, and business development experience. During her career, she has managed $650MM of private equity placement and $80 B in securitization and principal finance transactions while at Hawkeye Partners, Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney and Prudential Securities. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and English from Georgetown University and a Masters of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Luis joined AIC Ventures in 2004. He holds the position of Managing Partner - Acquisitions, serves as a voting member of AIC Ventures' Investment Committee, Finance Committee and Disposition Committee, and is a member of Executive Leadership Team. His responsibilities include leading AIC Ventures' acquisitions team in the origination, evaluation and structuring of suitable investments meeting the criteria of our funds.
Prior to joining AIC Ventures, Luis was a real estate attorney with the law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright) where he represented clients in various real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions of real property, mortgage lending, leasing, land planning and development, zoning and land use regulations, code compliance, real estate brokerage and management and formation of business entities.
Luis earned a BA degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law.

Mike joined AIC Ventures in 2001 with over 14 years of real estate financing and advisory experience. Mike is responsible for oversight on negotiating debt terms for purchases and refinancing, overseeing property management responsibilities and leading the activities for portfolio asset sales. Prior to joining AIC Ventures, Mike was a Managing Director at Cohen Financial, a Chicago-based mortgage banking firm, from 1994 to 2001. He led Cohen's capital markets activities and oversaw the placement of over $3 billion in real estate debt and equity financing on a variety of projects around the country. Prior to Cohen, Mike worked for Oppenheimer & Co.'s commercial mortgage backed securities group, Chemical Bank's real estate investment banking group, Integrated Resources and Williams Real Estate. Mike graduated from The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business with a degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance.

Pat joined AIC Ventures in March 2011. In addition to Executive Administration, she is responsible for managing Human Resources, Information Technology, and the Administrative Team. Pat received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Westminster College and a Master of Science degree in Psychology from Walden University. She has been actively involved in Destination Imagination, a youth problem solving educational organization, for over ten years.

Paul is the Founder of AIC Ventures. He has been active in real estate investment and asset management for over 40 years and has formed 58 real estate partnerships and eleven funds that have invested in over $2 billion of real estate. Born in Buffalo, New York, Paul owned and operated one of the largest real estate firms in Western New York. He has been involved in commercial construction, rehabilitation, land development, and apartment and office building management and leasing. Paul is a founder, director and past Chairman of L3 Organization and is also a founder and trustee of the Leadership Legacy Life Foundation. Paul was an International Director of the World Presidents Organization (WPO) for 7 years and served as the Chairman of the Board in 2004. He studied economics at Canisius College and Niagara University.

Todd joined AIC Ventures in March of 2017. He is responsible for managing Accounting, Finance, and Administration. Todd has an extensive background in financial services spanning over the past 25 years. He has worked in leadership roles at well-known institutions such as KPMG, Bank of America, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Fannie Mae and Nationstar Mortgage. In these roles, Todd has worked to develop strong financial controls and leveraged technology to develop insightful analysis to provide transparency into business performance. Todd earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Todd is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
