In the construction industry since the late 1990s, Ben has over 26 years of experience. From building homes from the ground up, owning his own construction company, to traveling for work around the US and a few foreign countries. For the past 13 years, he has been working on Heavy Industrial and Commercial projects before coming to Canopy. Ben, his wife Savannah, and their son Weston fell in love with Charlotte's beauty, charm, and amazing people. They now call Charlotte home. He now brings great construction skills and knowledge to the Canopy team, along with a fun-loving and helpful personality with a strong drive to succeed!
Ben Cox, my project manager, was absolutely wonderful. He was very much involved from our first meeting, inspecting my roof, meeting with my insurance adjuster, to completion of replacing my roof and gutters. I could not have asked for a more polite, respectful, knowledgeable and professional mannered person. He promptly returned phone calls and texts.
Before moving to the Charlotte area and becoming a husband and father, Evan received a degree in Economics from Oneonta State University of New York. He pursued a career in banking and insurance in New York. After his tenure in financial services, Evan and his wife Ashley relocated to Charlotte in search of a career change and to start a family. Trading his suit and tie for a pair of work boots and a diaper bag, Evan dove right into fatherhood and the roofing business. The Griffiths family, Evan a roofing team leader and Ashley an elementary school teacher settled into a life in the Carolinas. Evan has been able to learn the roofing and restoration business very quickly as he applied his education and knowledge from banking and insurance to the restoration industry. Fast forward to present, with over 1000 restoration projects under his belt, he brings tremendous value, knowledge and enthusiasm to the team at Canopy Roof & Restoration.
