Dirk is a data center operation expert and COO of DATA CASTLE. He worked for more than 15 years at NTT Data Centers as Managing Director in Germany, as well as a regional- and site manager. Dirk has developed and operated data centers for many years. He holds a degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of applied sciences in Munich.

Dr. Christopher Stief co-founded DATA CASTLE in 2022 and leads the business as its Chief Executive. Christopher is a data center expert with proven track records from large colocation- and hyperscale developments to aggregate more than 250 MW, primarily across Tier 1 and Tier 2 European data center markets. Christopher was previously a Senior Director at a leading family office in Germany, where he was commercially responsible for data center site origination, development and execution for the firm's digital infrastructure fund. Prior to that, Christopher worked as Executive Project Manager to CEO at e-shelter (NTT Global Data Centers EMEA), a leading international data center operator, where he focused on site identification and development. He began his career in the strategic practice at Amazon. Christopher earned a doctoral degree (PhD) from Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz in business administration, and a master's degree in business administration from the Alliant University of San Diego, California.

Marcus is the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at DATA CASTLE. Marcus is a data center veteran with more than 30 years of industry experience. He holds a degree in computer technology and has held responsible positions with international market leaders, including Hewlett-Packard, Rittal and e-shelter / NTT.
