Dr. Mueller has always known that she wanted to be a "doggy doctor" from a very early age (Veterinarian is a hard word to say as a toddler). She was very active in 4-H in her home town of Overbrook KS. Kris and Hailey first met at a 4-H conference in 2007. After graduating from Santa Fe Trail High School, she received a Bachelors in Animal Sciences and Industry with minors in Entrepreneurship and Biology from Kansas State University in 2014. She then graduated Veterinary School at KSU in 2018... Favorite local activities are hiking and kayaking at the Elk City lake as well as enjoying some of the wonderful businesses in Independence. Other hobbies include, gardening, running, shotgun sports, and fostering/adopting sight-hounds... Specific veterinary interests include; geriatric care; orthopedics; medicine and equine as well as small animal dentistry.
