Der Tischler, Inc. is a Design and General Contracting Consulting company that has a professional team to help with all aspects of your construction projects. Arlo Armstrong, born and raised in the Bay Area, started working in a cabinet shop at age 15 for his shop teacher's personal shop. As he attended college at night to find what he was going to do for the rest of his working career, he continued to work in 2 different cabinet shops. When cabinets weren't broad enough for him anymore, he decided finish carpentry was something to tackle and tried that for a few years. Finish Carpentry then led to managing many large jobs for a couple of different General Contractors. At age 25 Arlo decided to get his own General Contracting License (AA Builders) and do it for himself. After a few years of General Contracting and installing other people's cabinets, he realized his true passion for fine wood working and started a custom cabinet shop.
