Brad A. Galbraith is the Managing Partner at GW Law, PLLC's Naples and Indianapolis offices. Brad is board certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates by The Florida Bar Association. Brad began his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant. After switching to the practice of law and seeing the ineffectiveness and inefficiency of traditional planning methods, he endeavored to find a better way to assist his clients with estate, tax and business planning. As an estate planning attorney, he developed a model designed to provide clients with comprehensive, personalized estate, tax and business succession plans that withstand the test of time. Brad maintains an Indiana CPA license and has taught estate and tax planning to CPAs and attorneys at conferences and continuing education events throughout the United States. Additionally, Brad is the co-author of an extensive continuing education program for CPAs which has been published and distributed nationally. That program, entitled Estate Planning for CPAs, has also been presented to thousands of CPAs throughout the United States. Joel W. Thorp is a Senior Associate Attorney with GW Law in the firm's Indianapolis office. He practices in the areas of estate planning and trust administration. Mr. Thorp received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2004 where he also completed a specialized law and business core curricula in coordination with the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and theology. He maintained this dual interest in law and ministry, initially working with a large Indianapolis law firm before invited to join the ministry staff at his church for two years and then returning to a smaller Indianapolis law firm to lead their estate and business services groups for 13 years. Mr. Weatherbie frequently holds forums with other professionals in an effort to provide individuals with a better understanding of estate planning, tax planning and asset protection. A Dean's List student and Varsity Letter winner at the University of Kansas, Mr. Weatherbie also received a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana, his law degree from Southern University Law Center and his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Weatherbie's education and qualifications demonstrate his dedication to and knowledge in these concentrated areas of practice.
