HUMBER AUTHORITIES CALIBTRATION SERVICE

We offer state-of-the-art equipment to provide calibrations to small to medium enterprises for traceable ISO 9000 calibrations... The Centre maintains three weight sets (two E2 and one F1) which are calibrated by the National Weights and Measures Laboratory and a one tonne stainless steel weight calibrated by the National Physical Laboratory. Calibration starts from a 1 milligram stainless steel weight (almost too small to see) to one tonne cast iron block weights. We also offer a weights hire service... We can calibrate volume measures and pipettes from 1ml to 50 litres. Calibrations are done gravimetrically and calculated taking into account water temperature, vessel temperature and air density. We provide accurately calibrated equipment to inspectors from six local authorities.
