Dr. Charles Boulet

Dr. Charles Boulet obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta before completing his Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University. Dr. Boulet is dedicated to continuing education and actively engages in online research and writing on vision rehabilitation and related topics. He also shares his knowledge by teaching Occupational Therapists about vision rehabilitation, drawing from his extensive experience in rehab and management of visual dysfunction. Dr. Boulet holds an Advanced Skills certificate from the Alberta College of Optometry and has a background in IT, allowing him to offer innovative solutions. As a member of the Alberta College of Optometry, he stays up to date with industry standards and advancements. Dr. Boulet finds fulfillment in making a real impact on his patients' lives and takes joy in helping them achieve their goals. He values human connections and appreciates the exceptional qualities of his team at the practice, who prioritize professionalism, amiability, and efficiency. Based in South Calgary, Dr. Boulet enjoys photography, music, hiking, horology, and community arts engagement, alongside his Miniature Schnauzer, Thomas. He strongly believes in fostering genuine connections and considers his role as an optometrist a trusted position to positively influence patients' well-being and vision health.

Dr. Morley Bayer

Dr. Morley Bayer obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, and graduated with honors in 1994. Dr. Bayer regularly attends Continuing Education courses to stay current on new diagnostic equipment, vision research, and treatment options for patients. As a dedicated professional, he is a member in good standing with both the Alberta Association of Optometrists and the Alberta College of Optometrists. Dr. Bayer's passion lies in solving people's vision and eye health issues and informing them about their options for treatment. One of his driving forces is educating individuals about their eyes and providing guidance on maintaining eye health for life. His interest in optometry was sparked at a young age due to his own experience with near-sightedness, which led to frequent visits to the optometrist. This profession fulfills his desire to help people of all ages. Having been born and raised in Southern Alberta, Dr. Bayer called Calgary home from 1997 to 2001. After spending 22 years in NW Alberta, he is now making his return. When he's not immersed in his professional role, he indulges in a variety of hobbies including ballroom and Latin dance, regular exercise, enjoying music, exploring the internet, and cherishing walks and conversations with friends.

Dr. Shae Morrison

Dr. Shae Morrison completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo after receiving her Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Alberta. She first discovered her passion for optometry at a young age while working at a local clinic in her hometown of Grand Prairie, Alberta. Upon graduation, Dr. Morrison received awards for excellence in clinical care as well as contact lens care and was also able to gain experience in the management of patients with poor eye teaming, amblyopia, strabismus, and traumatic brain injuries during her practicum. Dr. Morrison has been practicing since 2015 and has continued to attend annual conferences, seminars and virtual presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest research in Optometry. She has always been a voracious learner and enjoys the challenge of keeping up with the newest and best treatment options for her patients. She takes a special interest in pediatric vision and development as well as dry eye management and is always determined to find the most comfortable contact lens her patients have ever tried. Dr. Morrison is greatly passionate about people and jumps at the opportunity to build long-lasting connections with each patient she meets. When she is away from the office, Dr. Morrison and her husband enjoy taking their two young daughters to explore Lethbridge parks as well as take part in different activities around the city. During her downtime, she enjoys cooking new recipes, curling up with a good book or catching up on the latest hit tv show.
