Dr. Nicholas Anthony

Dr. Nicholas Anthony offers a broad range of clinical experience to assist with adult and senior mental health and addiction issues. Sleep, depression, anxiety, interpersonal and geriatric related problems are areas of specialty. He earned his Doctorate in psychology from the University of Cincinnati, Master from the University of Richmond and Bachelor's from Duquesne University. Before relocating to Montana, he has been licensed and practiced in Ohio, Florida and Arizona. He has worked in a variety of settings, including medical and psychiatric hospitals, counseling clinics, mental health centers and as a psychologist in the Air Force for four years. He has had articles of his psychological research published, made presentations at national meetings and written articles for medical publications as well as major newspapers. While offering cognitive behavioral therapy, he does not practice a single approach to all issues and develops unique therapeutic assistance for each individual's problems, based upon their personal experiences, abilities and beliefs. He believes that treatment should be focused and goal oriented, with an effort to gain a successful termination.

Hallie Bornstein Banziger

Dr. Hallie Bornstein Banziger was raised in Missoula, MT. After graduating from Hellgate High School in Missoula she attended Cornell University. She received her BA in philosophy with a concentration in Women's Studies. Dr. Banziger has engaged in numerous research projects throughout her professional career most of which have focused on women's health topics. Dr. Banziger completed her graduate work in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wyoming. Upon completing her course work she accepted a job in Portland, OR at the VA Hospital, being the project coordinator of a national multi site grant examining various treatments for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Banziger completed her pre doctoral internship in Syracuse, NY at Hutchings Psychiatric Center. While in Syracuse she met her husband (a New York native) and they moved back to Montana upon completion of her internship. Dr. Banziger began her private practice in Bozeman in 2004 where she works with children, families, couples, and adults.

Jennifer Leight

Dr. Leight received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Idaho State University. Her APA approved internship was completed at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. She has experience working with all age ranges for individuals with anxiety type disorders, depression, relational difficulties and life transitional difficulties. She specializes in working with children and families with behavioral concerns, bedwetting concerns, and in need of a comprehensive evaluation from a neuropsychological/developmental perspective. Her other area of specialty includes working with children, families, and adults with disabilities as she is also a licensed Physical Therapist.

Marcy Tepper Bornstein

Dr. Marcy Tepper Bornstein received her B.A. in Elementary Education from East Carolina University, M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montana, and Ph.D. from the University of Montana. Her APA-approved internship was completed at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in Tuc son, Arizona. The Bornsteins raised three wonderful daughters and have six grandchildren whom they adore. Dr. Bornstein studied Philosophy and was ac ti ve in alternative education prior to beginning her career in Psychology. She did her Master's thesis on Group Treatment of Children of Divorce and her doctoral dissertation in the area of eating disorders. She is a co-fou nd in g partner of GCPO and has published and presented papers and workshops in the areas of children of divorce, marital therapy, and eating disorders. She is co-author (with Philip H. Bornstein) of Marital Therapy: A Behavioral Communications Approach (Pergamon Press). Presently, she specializes in treating individuals (adults and adolescents, many with eating disorders), couples (straight as well as LGBT), and families. Dr. Bornstein has maintained a busy private practice for 20+ years in Missoula.

Philip Bornstein

Dr. Bornstein received his B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University, M.A. in Clinical Psychology from East Carolina University and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of South Dakota. His APA-approved internship was completed at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Phil taught at The University of Montana for 16 years before becoming a founding partner of GCPO. Dr. Bornstein has published and presented over 150 papers/publications during the course of his professional career. He is co-author (with Marcy Tepper-Bornstein) of Marital Therapy: A Behavioral Communications Approach (Pergamon Press) and co-editor (with Alan Kazdin) of The Handbook Of Clinical Behavior Therapy With Children (Dorsey Press). Presently, he specializes in treating individuals, couples, and families as well as conducting risk assessment evaluations. Dr. Bornstein has also maintained a thriving private practice for over 20 years and volunteers a portion of his time to various community entities including Missoula Youth Homes, the District Court system, and other professionals.

Scott Elrod

Dr. Elrod received his B.S. degree in Biology from Carroll College in 1983. He graduated from The University of Washington School of Medicine in 1987. Upon graduation he was awarded the Margaret H. O'Donnell prize in psychiatry. Scott completed his residency training in psychiatry at the University of Washington in 1991. He was appointed Chief Resident for his final year. Between 1991 and 1997 Dr. Elrod had a private practice in Missoula. From 1997 until 2012 he was the Medical Director for the Western Montana Mental Health Center. He has maintained faculty relationships with the University of Montana and the University of Washington for the last 15 years. In practice, Dr Elrod has maintained equal interest in the biological management of mental illness problems utilizing medications and their psychological management utilizing psychodynamic psychotherapy.

Tom Clucas

Dr. Clucas received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and received his APA- approved Internship at Case Western Medical School in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Clucas worked for more that 2 years at Western Montana Mental Health Center, including one year as Inpatient Coordinator working from St. Patrick Hospital. He has been in private clinical practice since 1989, first at Western Montana Clinic, then with Montana Neurobehavioral Specialists, and currently at GCPO. Dr. Clucas has an emphasis on treating anxiety in adults, teens, and children. He has been a member of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America for over 20 years and trained at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at Case Western Medical School. He also maintains interest in treating depression, relationship problems, PTSD, and trauma. He is trained in EMDR. Dr. Clucas enjoys the wide range of outdoor and cultural activities that are available in Missoula, Montana.
