Christina currently functions as a lighting designer and project manager in the Los Angeles office. In her short time at Visual Terrain, she's worked on theme parks, retail stores, concert venues, offices, brand icons, hospitality projects and more! Her current projects consist of concert venues, retail stores, theme parks, and hospitality projects. Before working at Visual Terrain, Christina worked as a freelance lighting designer, assistant, and programmer, which took her all over the United States and overseas. Her portfolio consists of cruise ships, art installations and gallery lighting, theatre, dance, opera, and themed entertainment. Christina has been recognized, most notably, as a recipient of the ETC LDI Sponsorship in 2018. She was recognized for her work as a theatrical lighting designer. Some of her favorite theatrical credits include Miracle on 34th Street (SDMT), Billy Elliot (SDMT), Bliss (Or Emily Post is Dead!) (MOXIE Theatre), the world premiere of The Loneliest Girl in the World (Diversionary Theatre), and To Kill a Mockingbird (ECT). She prides herself in volunteering and being involved with the lighting and themed entertainment communities, as well as student outreach. Currently she serves as part of the TEA NextGen Committee and the IES Emerging Professionals Committee. In the past, she served as USITT Awards Co-coordinator from 2018-2019 and before that as USITT Lighting Commission's student representative from 2015-2018. At Visual Terrain, she works to support the VT Summer Camp and Internship programs. Christina received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre (Lighting Design) and Musical Theater from Rockford University and a Masters of Fine Arts in Design and Technology (Lighting Design) from San Diego State University.

David Green - COO, President

David Green joined Visual Terrain in 2011, bringing over 25 years of experience in managing and delivering large and small development projects, including web site producing, creative and technical writing, theme parks, film, television and animation support, software development, information architecture, project management, public relations and photography. In 2001, David founded Monteverdi Creative Inc., a media services consultancy specializing in bridging technical and creative endeavors for large-scale multimedia and themed entertainment projects. The company quickly established a clientele that includes the Walt Disney Internet Group, the TEA (formerly Themed Entertainment Association), The Hettema Group, Thinkwell Design, Technifex, Dedica Group, SHO Concepts, and Visual Terrain, as well as DIRECTV, Technicolor, SMART Design, Black Light Design, and Moto Design Group. Prior to forming Monteverdi Creative, Inc., David's past experience includes 14 years with the Walt Disney Company, working on projects such as Walt Disney Internet Group broadband media projects, Disney's EPCOT Center, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland California Fantasyland Rehab, Walt Disney Feature Animation Management Enhancement (FAME) database. Outside the Disney company, David also worked on MicroCADAM software (for a division of IBM), Linn Electronics musical instruments and equipment, and feature news reporting for the Los Angeles Reader. David is an inventor or co-inventor for nine U.S. patents for user interface design for TV set-top boxes. David has won awards for creative and technical writing, and has published everything from poetry to 800-page user manuals. "Building a Better Mouse" was co-written with Steve Alcorn, and was published by Theme Perks Press in 2007. "Confessions of an Estrogen Evangelist" a book co-written with Joyce A. Kakkis, M.D., was published by Kensington Publishing in 2001. An award-winning photographer, David's work is included in "Allensworth: A Place. A People. A Story." an exhibit and accompanying catalog in the permanent collection of the California African American Museum. He is a former, three-term president of the Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association, and taught photography, Photoshop, and creativity workshops at the Santa Clarita Valley Center for Photography for several years. David is married to Visual Terrain CEO Lisa Passamonte Green.

Jeff De Lamotte

Jonathan Lebovic

Jonathan came to Visual Terrain in 2016 after four years with Vortex Lighting. He has also been lighting design faculty for California Institute of the Arts, where he taught a Masters Level course on architectural lighting design, as well as a freelance lighting designer. Jonathan brings considerable experience with multiple hotels, restaurants, residences, and live event venues, among other project types. Jonathan's lighting designs for Attractions and Area Development for major theme parks have won multiple awards and accolades. Jonathan is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society's BIM Technical Committee, where he is actively engaged in building BIM standards for adoption by electrical engineers, lighting designers, and lighting manufacturers. He is also a speaker for professional discussions with the IALD Southern California chapter on BIM Workflows

Lilian Moseley

Lilian brings her business background to the forefront of Visual Terrain as an Operations Manager. She offers expertise spanning in business administration and change management, that provides solution driven results. Through her experience working in many industries like construction, media planning, and sales, she is able to contribute a unique perspective and skill set to the team. Lilian received a degree in International Business and Management from Dickinson College. In her spare time Lilian enjoys live music, eating sushi, and traveling.

Lisa Passamonte Green

Recognized as an leading international designer, Lisa's projects can be seen throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Lisa is an Associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA). She has served on the Board of Managers with the Los Angeles Section of the IESNA and has served on the International Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).

Mallory Paddock

Mallory Paddock returns to Visual Terrain after a four-year absence, during which she worked at the American Scenic, Dimensional Innovations, and the Catalyst group designing scenery and interiors for rides, attractions, museums, retail, and more. In 2015, Mallory was Visual Terrainʼs first employee from the prestigious Savannah College of Art & Designʼs Themed Entertainment program. She holds a BFA in Production Design along with a minor in Themed Entertainment. She has been an active member with the TEA, holding a position on the TEA Next Gen University Relations committee from 2018 - 2021 and has roots in the live entertainment community in Kansas City, MO. Speaking of which, Mallory is a native to Kansas, and operated from her home in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

Michael Mahlum

Michael Mahlum, a native of Denver, Colorado, has designed lighting for dance, theatre and architecture all across the globe. Currently Michael is Principal Designer, as well as Director of Design & Production at Visual Terrain's Chicago, Illinois, office. Michael's recent projects include historic re-creation of the Capitol Theater in Fort Edmonton Park, Edmonton Alberta, Canada; the illumination of the top of Barclays Capital in New York, New York; Hugo Boss Retail; the House of Blues in Hollywood, California and Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America, a national traveling exhibit.

Michelle Malakoff

Michelle joins Visual Terrain in the Los Angeles office after a 30-year career with Walt Disney Imagineering, where she was most recently a Show Manager for Shanghai Disneyland Resort. Highlights from that time include managing the Shanghai Zootopia Land Project, and Shanghai Mickey Avenue and Gardens of Imagination Projects. Prior to that, she was a Senior Principal Production Coordinator for various Disney parks worldwide. Michelle has lived in China, and studied Mandarin while there, allowing her to communicate with the Chinese team onsite.

Steven currently serves as Principal Designer and Director of Design in our Los Angeles office. His designs for Visual Terrain include the Los Angeles Akin Gump Law Offices; King Kong 360 3D and Fast and Furious at Universal Studios Hollywood; Battleship IOWA "Lost At Sea" Exhibit; Rivera restaurant in Los Angeles; Dragons Wild Shooting for Lotte World, Seoul, South Korea, Choctaw Resort Facades in Durant, OK; the 2012 USA Pavilion for the Yeosu World Expo; the Kongen Park Firefighter attraction in Norway; and Beyond All Boundaries at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA. Current projects include renovations to the Paisley Park public tour; Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill, NC, Chimelong Marine Museum and a themed hotel resort in Japan. Steven's portfolio includes designs for Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, Warner Bros Movie World theme parks in Germany and Australia, Argosy Casino Kansas City, and LEGOLAND parks in California, Windsor and Denmark. Steven's work has been recognized with the IESNA Awards of Merit for The Aquarium of the Pacific Pacific Collections retail store, Hard Rock Cafe Tampa, Choctaw Casino and Resort, Dragons Wild Shooting dark ride, and Lumen West Awards Awards of Excellence for Akin Gump Los Angeles Law Offices, Hard Rock Cafe Tampa and Choctaw Casino and Resort, plus the 2009 Themed Entertainment Association Thea Award for Beyond All Boundaries a 4D cinematic experience at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. Steven's work for live entertainment and theatrical designs encompasses McCoy Rigby Entertainment's Matilda, Miss Saigon (in the US and Macau), Grumpy Old Men, Johnny Guitar, 16 years as resident lighting designer for the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, fundraising events for Children's Hospital of Orange County, Ryman Arts, The Art Center in Pasadena, and the Themed Entertainment Awards at the Disneyland Hotel. Steven has received the LA Weekly Award, three LA Ovation Awards - for Songs for a New World, Jekyll and Hyde, and Eric Whitacre's Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings - and four Backstage Garland Awards. In 2004, Steven was honored by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle with the Angstrom Lifetime Achievement Award. Steven holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre from Indiana State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Production from University of Cincinnati, CCM. He was honored in 2015 with UC-CCM's Alumni Award of Excellence.
