Ashleigh has over 10 years of experience in an office environment. Creating a positive and fun working space for staff is an absolute priority for Ashleigh. When Ashleigh isn't at the office, she can be found running around after her two young boys, enjoying pilates or at the beach.
Bryce is Hawkes Bay born and bred. He is a carpenter by trade and has had a 20-year career in design and project management, with the last 10+ years focused on Fire Safety Design. With his knowledge of the area and a diverse career in the construction industry, Bryce's experience in Hawkes Bay buildings is highly valued. In his spare time, Bryce stays busy working on his farm and enjoys Hawkes Bay's great outdoor adventure opportunities with his two teenage children.
Marlis has a BE in chemical engineering from Germany and a Master of Engineering studies (endorsed in Fire Engineering) at Canterbury University (2012). Marlis has worked in the fire safety industry since 2009 and is based in Gisborne.
Rachel is an Australian import who started with Smart Fire in January 2021. Before joining Smart Fire, Rachel lectured within the aviation industry after a stint in the Australian Army. Rachel likes to keep active by running in her spare time. We have since found out that Rachel + go-kart = Hospital; therefore, any team building activities involving wheels are a no go!
Ryan hails from the Waikato. After a brief stint in Christchurch, he returned to the Waikato to embark on a career that led to Smart Fire. From Fire Fighter to Fire Design in buildings, Ryan has always had a keen interest in keeping the public safe. Ryan loves to hunt, get out on the mountain bike or take to the lake with friends and family.
