Amy Thorpe

Job Titles:
  • Customer Care
Amy completed her degree in Interior Design & Environmental Architecture at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. She went on to work for an Interior Design firm in London and then to be a youth worker before joining Ruach Kitchens. Amy really cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to meet every need. Fun fact: Amy is a gifted musician and plays the cello!

Ben Nairne

Ben joined us as a kitchen fitter after previously working as a builder. He has inherited great fitting skills from his Dad James who has been with us for 20 years. Ben is hoping to grow his skills in the future by studying electronics. Ben is a young and enthusiastic part of the team.

Gary Trodd

Job Titles:
  • Associate Snr Fitter
Gary has been, unbelievably, fitting kitchens for over 30 years! He works with his son James to deliver a real quality service. As an Associate Fitter, he works with us as part of the core Ruach Team offering that little bit extra that you can expect from us. Heather Brazier

Job Titles:
  • Senior Designer
Heather started with Ruach Kitchens in 2003. She graduated in Interior Architecture from Chelsea School of Art and she particularly relishes the challenge of working on demanding design briefs. She has a real gift for putting together truly inspiring and harmonious design solutions. Fun fact: Heather has designed her own new kitchen and is hoping to learn to cook in it soon!

Helena Hayward

Helena worked in hospitality before working at Ruach Kitchens. She has worked at Ruach for a couple of years hosting our showroom and assisting with order processing. She loves giving our customers a warm welcome and assisting where she can.

Ian Penman - Managing Director

Ian started Ruach Kitchens in 1993 working from his dining room and has grown the business from a ‘one-man band' to a market-leading brand employing many staff. As a visionary, Ian oversees the running of the business as well as moving the company forward. Fun fact: Ian loves his motorbike and has travelled all over Europe!

James Nairne

James has been with Ruach Kitchens for 20 years. James is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. Earlier in his career he worked on the restoration of Leeds Castle in Kent and it was our good fortune when he decided to move into kitchen fitting. When it comes to fitting your new kitchen, nothing is too much trouble for James. Take a look at this KITCHEN that James fitted

Joshua Penman

Job Titles:
  • Administration & Accounts
Joshua has been involved with Ruach Kitchens for most of his life as he is Ian's son. Joshua has always been good with numbers so he studied with the Association of Accounting Technicians before coming to Ruach. He assists Ian in the running of the business. Fun fact: Joshua has a golf handicap of 9!

Neil Stevens

Neil has been with us for 15 years. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, Neil went on to join the Metropolitan Police. After eight years, he moved into the world of kitchen fitting. Attention to detail and dedication to excellence are his strengths and he has yet to be defeated by a design, however complex! Just take a look at this BESPOKE KITCHEN

Tilly Holton

Job Titles:
  • Designer
Tilly studied Interior Architecture at the University of Bedfordshire and got into kitchen design immediately after graduating. Tilly has a keen eye for modern designs and likes to keep up to date with the latest technology. Fun fact: Tilly once had a piece of art shown in the Tate Gallery for a school competition!

Violet Nankervis

Job Titles:
  • Senior Designer
Violet studied Interior Design at Southampton Solent. Since her degree she has worked in kitchen design. In 2015, Violet won the Miele Grand Designs Live Stand competition. Violet is great at creating unique and on-trend kitchens that will stand the test of time. Fun fact: Violet has a passion for animals. She loves dogs and volunteers at a local kennel!
