Amar Rajani

Amar is a Professional FinTech Executive with a strong record in successfully developing businesses and positioning products for corporations, sell-side, institutional asset managers and hedge funds globally. He has domain expertise in capital markets, investment management, corporate, research and financial services. He has a demonstrable experience of managing every aspect of the product and business sales process including new business development, turn-around of under-performing businesses and new product generation. His experience at Bloomberg is invaluable to KiteEdge as he was responsible for developing and working on their entire research product suite - including research aggregation, research management solutions and MiFID II research solutions. He was also a founding member of Bloomberg's Enterprise Products and Solutions team, as well as manager of several teams including London buy-side. His deep knowledge on search, taxonomy, research management and MiFID will clearly help Kite Edge during the product build. In addition, his experience in building new business and selling to the buy-side will be invaluable in our go-to-market strategy.

Bill Templer

Bill Templer is a veteran financial services executive and consultant, a co-founder of Seismic Foundry, a Capital markets investment fund and advisory company. Bill has provided consulting services to several organisations including the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Bank, ICAP, SunGard and Trading Technologies. He is also a member of a number of advisory committees, and previously was a member of the Board of Eurex Clearing as an Independent Director

Charles Scott

Charles holds an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and a Diploma in Agriculture from RAU Cirenceser. He started his career in investment banking with Wood Gundy in 1979, and joined Morgan Stanley in 1985, spending 22 years with the Firm, holding several senior management positions, including Head of Equity Sales in Europe, Director of European Research and Chief Operating Officer for Morgan Stanley's Firmwide business in the UK. Since 2007, Charles has invested in and managed a number of agricultural projects in Tanzania, and is a Director of Polar Capital Funds Ltd and Vantage Investment Advisory Ltd. He is Chairman of Every1Mobile, which has created and manages a platform giving mass communication across multiple markets in Africa, for clients including social development programmes and corporates Charles was a founding Trustee of the Morgan Stanley International Foundation and was Chairman from 1995 to 2000. He is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee for Brasenose College Oxford and a Trustee of Muscular Dystrophy UK and Restart Africa.

Dr. Dane P. Rook

Dr. Dane P. Rook is a Research Scholar in Stanford University's School of Engineering, where his research focuses on financial technology, institutional asset ownership, and organizational innovation. Previously, Dr. Rook was a Research Scientist at Kensho Technologies (which was purchased by S&P Global in early 2018 as part of the largest ever acquisition of an AI start-up). As an early member of Kensho, Dr. Rook helped design its NLP-powered index-construction algorithms. Prior to Kensho, Dr. Rook was an Associate with Huron River Ventures, where he focused on seed-stage investments across a variety of industries. Earlier, he was a member of J.P.Morgan's Investment Banking Division in New York City, before making a return to research. Dr. Rook earned his Doctorate from the University of Oxford as a Clarendon Scholar. He also was awarded a MPhil from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor's degree (as a Carson Scholar) from the University of Michigan. He has published numerous academic papers across the topics of technology, investment, and innovation, and is the co-author of a forthcoming book (through Stanford University Press), The Technological Investor: Innovation in Long-Term Investing. His work has been featured in outlets such as Harvard Business Review, Centred Investor, Pensions & Investments, and Institutional Investor, as well as in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He is also currently serving as an Advisor for a stealth-mode fin-tech startup in Silicon Valley, and helping in the design of their strategy and architecture for a set of machine learning tools for advanced liquidity analysis. Dr. Rook's experience with developing NLP technologies for the financial-services space will be a significant benefit for Kite Edge. Furthermore, his deep understanding of the technological needs of major players in the asset-ownership universe will be an advantage in guiding product deployment - as will his extensive network of contacts at large institutional-investment organizations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Peter Holmes

Over 30 years working in the Financial Sector in a broad range of senior operational, technical and program management roles for major Investment Banks. Peter has a proven track record of managing large, complex change programs within highly regulated environments. An in-depth knowledge of Investment Banking Research, gleaned from undertaking COO and CTO roles for a number of major firms. An extensive global network across buy and sell side firms and vendors. Peter's background in Technology, underpinned by a degree in Computer Science, and his experience in running Investment Bank Research departments adds significant value to KiteEdge. Peter is a passionate supporter of community affairs work. He chaired the European Community Affairs committee for a major Investment Bank. Worked as a business mentor for the Prince's Trust, nurturing a children's charity through its first 3 years. For the last 14 years, a governor at a Primary school in Tower Hamlets, chairing the operations and finance committee.

Yoann Turpin

Yoann has a master's in management specialising in Finance from EDHEC Business School and has been a proprietary trader for the last ten years. He has been a very successful volatility market maker and arbitrageur in rates options in both the European and the US markets. He has worked and lived in France, the Netherlands and the UK and has a love for other cultures and languages having studied more than 8 himself. He started making illiquid investments 10 years ago in pre-IPO deals and moved towards Seed, pre-Series A and Series A investments in 2010/11, with a focus on B2B SaaS and FinTech. After exiting his option trading partnership in 2014, he started Kaifuku Capital to support his investments and other startups with both finance, strategy and business development with a focus on building bridges between Europe and Asia. He is currently co-founder of Wintermute Trading - an algorithmic liquidity provider in the crypto space.
