Carmine Della Vella

Carmine Della Vella started working as a paramedic in Rome and is now at the end of the medical school in one of the most important Italian universities, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. Trainee at the ICU of the A. Gemelli hospital, I am an aspiring anesthesiologist and intensivist. Carmine Della Vella is not just an airway management addict, but also a trauma, cardiovascular resuscitation, and modified simulation. Founder of the INTUBATI group, our ambitious goal is to radically change training in Italy Honored to be part of the AirwayNautics Group, where I was trained and then welcomed into the group. I brought the Cadaver laboratory on the emergency procedures and on TRAUMA in Italy, the only reality currently in my country. I deal with the diffusion of SALAD and the Airway Management in my country, I had the blessing of one of my masters James DuCanto for this.

Deborah Aspinall

Deborah is our Accounts Officer and a valued member of our team since 2018. Deborah manages day-to-day financial bookkeeping system. She monitors all accounts payable spreadsheets, following up missed payments and managing all aspects financial needs of the business. Deborah is able to assist all customers and business with your query in an organised and professional way to ensure either directly or by directing you to the appropriate member of staff. Like every person in the team, Deborah is passionate about customer service and making improvements to the business processes to assist our customers. Deborah is currently studying towards her AAT Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting.

Dr Halden Hutchinson Bazely

Dr Halden Hutchinson-Bazely is a Royal Air Force doctor training in anaesthesia and critical care aeromedical evacuation. He has been active in pre-hospital care for over 10 years and has experience in a wide range of roles including CFR, NHS ambulance service, BASICS, HEMS and SAR. He is an accredited prehospital doctor delivering enhanced care in the East Midlands, and a trauma team leader in one of the West Midlands major trauma centers. Halden believes strongly in the highest quality medical education and simulation. This is not limited to simple knowledge and technical skills, but includes cognitive performance and team dynamics to ensure that quality of care is always optimised, especially in the most critical of situations. He is one of the lead instructors for our Anaesthesia, Trauma and Critical Care (ATACC) Course.

Dr Kate Prior

Surgeon Commander Kate Prior, MD, is a consultant anaesthetist in the Royal Navy and at King's College Hospital in London where she does anaesthesia and major trauma. Being an expert on the delivery of self and buddy first aid, the use of novel haemostatics and tourniquets in pre-hospital situations, she excels in teaching how these lessons learned from the battlefield can be translated into civilian practice. Additionally, Dr. Prior brings her medical skills to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and sporting events such as the London Marathon, while being a sportswoman herself.

Dr Nic Sparrow

Dr Nic Sparrow works full-time in the ER at Kootenay Lake Hospital and volunteers his free time responding to the highest priority 911 calls alongside the emergency services. In 2016 he founded Kootenay Emergency Response Physicians Association (KERPA) a Not for Profit Organization. Their goal is simpleā€¦ saving lives and helping the most critically ill and injured patients in our community - and supporting the emergency services.

Dr. Marietjie Slabbert

Dr. Mark Forrest

As Medical Director and joint founder of The ATACC Group, Mark is an NHS Clinical Director in Urgent & Emergency care and Consultant in Anaesthetics, Critical and Prehospital Care. He created the ATACC course nearly 20 years ago and has been the inspiration and driving force behind it's evolution and development into a unique and internationally renowned and comprehensive casualty care programme. As a key innovator and course author for many of the ATACC Group products, Mark is hugely passionate about the candidate experience and is always keen to embrace innovative educational methods and ground breaking simulation techniques. Mark lectures around the world in the fields of trauma and casualty care and has previously worked in many challenging disciplines including aeromedical retrieval, ECMO transfer, Paediatric retrieval and Hyperbaric medicine. He is the Medical Director of a number of UK Emergency Services and Voluntary groups and is a key organiser for several major International conferences. Medical Director and joint founder of The ATACC Group, Mark is an NHS Clinical Director in Urgent & Emergency care and Consultant in Anaesthetics, Critical and Prehospital Care. Dr. Mark Forrest chairs the Medical Advisory Group and defines the groups objective to provide Medical oversight and support for The ATACC Group. Mark is key to identifying the individual roles within the group who will vary from Medical Advisors/Directors for some of our customers eg Police Forces, Fire and Rescue Services, whilst others will be leading on educational initiatives.

Georgia Mackintosh

Georgia joined The ATACC Group team in 2018, having previously worked across a host of different scale and genres of events over the last few years. Georgia is responsible for organising and planning our social events this includes working out event details, plans, scouts and location bookings. Additional to this, she supports the business development team and manages resources and information to assist with scheduling, planning meetings and project activities. Georgia is well versed in pre-event planning through to on-site delivery and project co-ordination, her extensive experience means she is an excellent planner and troubleshooter.

Jackie Webb - VP of Sales

James Tooley

Mark Schofield - CMO

Mark has been with The ATACC Group since its conception and is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of The ATACC Group marketing strategy. Working closely with the business development/sales and course development teams to define marketing materials and products whilst developing and delivering on and off-line, internal and external marketing & communications strategies for the group. Mark is responsible for all the organisations marketing activities ensuring the group and our customers have all they need to be successful.

Michael Maybin

Mike had a military background and had a medical role in operational theatres of conflict, from this he transitioned into the NHS and became a locum practitioner in varied clinical settings, whilst also teaching a relief lecturer. Whilst serving as an agency locum, he also had an operational role in the Fire and Rescue service in all operational disciplines. Mike also volunteered for humanitarian assistance and aid projects, delivering training in remote and disaster areas. Mike then transitioned from Emergency Services and joined The ATACC Group where he delivers all levels of training. His other role is review and production of educational material and supporting the Medical Director.

As an ex Police Firearms Sergeant having served with Greater Manchester Police for 15 years Stephen developed a passion for all things trauma related. He is now devoted to building an organisation that delivers the very best in medical & rescue training, consultancy and governance.
