RECOUP, founded in 1990, is the UK's leading independent authority and trusted voice on plastics resource efficiency and recycling. As a registered charity, our work is supported by a network of over 170 members who share our commitments including a more sustainable use of plastics, increased plastics recycling, improved environmental performance and meeting legislative requirements. The County Durham Recycle Plastics project is aimed at encouraging County Durham residents to recycle more and improve the quality of plastics packaging recycled via household collections.
