GREEN VOLT OFFSHORE WINDFARM

Cobra and Flotation Energy are proud to be partners on the Green Volt Offshore Windfarm with a nominal capacity of 300MW... Between 20 September and 20 October we sought views to inform our Marine Licence Application. This new round of consultation represents the first opportunity for local communities and other stakeholders to share their views on the land-based aspects of our project. To help us develop our proposals further we're asking for your feedback on our plans... We are consulting on new, proposed onshore infrastructure to facilitate the connection of the proposed Green Volt Offshore Wind Farm to the grid. The connection of this offshore windfarm aims to generate up to 560 MW of renewable energy for oil and gas platforms in the Outer Moray Firth area as part of the North Sea Transition Deal and the UK grid network.
