Anne Fortin was appointed President of Intact Insurance in 2024. Since joining Intact in 2011, her scope has continued to expand. Bringing more than 30 years of experience to the organization, Anne, was previously Executive Vice President, Direct Distribution and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and responsible for fostering growth and overseeing operations of Intact's direct-to-consumer brands across Canada and leading marketing and communications across the organization. Anne is a member of Intact's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council and a sponsor of the organization's Indigenous Circle of Inclusion Employee Network. In 2020, her passion for social responsibility led her to join Breakfast Club of Canada's Board of Directors where she assists in their fight against food insecurity. She was also been appointed director on the RSA Insurance Ireland Board in 2021. Ms. Fortin holds an MBA from Concordia University and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the Université de Montréal.

Benoit Morissette

Benoit Morissette was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Risk and Actuarial Officer in June 2021. In this key role, Mr. Morissette provides risk management leadership for the organization at the strategic and business management levels and manages the insurance risk of the group by overseeing its corporate actuarial and reinsurance operations. This is an expansion of his scope appointed in July 2020 as Senior Vice President, Chief Risk and Actuarial Officer. Mr. Morissette joined Intact in 2001 as Vice President Actuarial. After a number of progressive assignments, in 2010 he took the role of Deputy Senior Vice President responsible for pricing and underwriting for the Direct to Consumer Distribution channel. In February 2013, Mr. Morissette was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Internal Auditor, where he led the development and implementation of Intact's internal audit activities and ensured that Intact is in accordance with the expected standards of corporate governance, compliance and ethics. In January 2016, he was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer where he was responsible for providing risk management leadership. In January 2018, he was appointed Senior Vice President and Group Chief Actuary, where he played a key role in managing the insurance risk of the group by overseeing its corporate actuarial and reinsurance operations. Throughout his career, Mr. Morissette has served on various committees of the Insurance Bureau of Canada, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Direct Relationship Insurers. Mr. Morissette holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences from Laval University and he is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, as well as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Carla Smith was appointed Executive Vice President in June 2021 to shape and drive Intact's global strategies in three key areas. As the global CHRO, she will advance Intact's objective to be a best employer whose talents are future ready. As the Chief Strategy Officer, she will develop and sustain Intact's corporate strategy equipping the senior team to navigate important strategic decisions and trade-offs. As the Head of Climate, she will ensure that climate change is prioritized as a lens through which Intact manages its business, and that Intact capitalizes on opportunities to help customers and society adapt. Her career with Intact has spanned more than 20 years. She has held senior leadership positions throughout the organization including Intact Insurance, Claims, belairdirect, and Specialty Solutions. She also successfully guided the organization through several acquisitions & integrations during her time leading Corporate Development. Ms. Smith is a Chartered Insurance Professional and holds a Global Professional Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Simon Fraser University.

Carolyn A. Wilkins

Wilkins joined Princeton University's Grisworld Center for Economic Policy as a senior research scholar in January 2022. She also sits on the Bank of England's Financial Policy Committee as an external member and she is a mentor for the blockchain stream at the Rotman School of Management's Creative Destruction Lab. Prior to these appointments, Ms. Wilkins had a distinguished 20 year career at the Bank of Canada, serving as Senior Deputy Governor from 2014 to 2020, setting monetary and financial system policies with Governing Council, and overseeing strategic planning and economic research. Ms. Wilkins led the development of the Bank's market liquidity facilities and large-scale asset purchase program as part of its COVID-19 response. She has made important contributions to international financial policies over her career, including as the Bank of Canada's G20 and G7 Deputy and member of the Financial Stability Board. Ms. Wilkins holds an Honours BA in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MA in Economics from Western University. She was named one of Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award by the Women's Executive Network in 2016 and 2018.

Charles Brindamour - CEO

Charles Brindamour is Chief Executive Officer of Intact Financial Corporation. IFC is the largest provider of property and casualty insurance in Canada, a leading provider of global specialty insurance, and, with RSA, a leader in the UK and Ireland. He began his career with Intact in 1992 and has held progressively senior roles, in Canada and abroad, within Intact and its former affiliates, including Senior Vice President of Personal Lines and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Brindamour was appointed President and CEO in January 2008. Under Mr. Brindamour's leadership, the company became an independent and widely-held Canadian company in 2009 and two years later, acquired AXA Canada; at the time, the largest acquisition in the history of Canada's property and casualty insurance (P&C) industry. In 2017, Mr. Brindamour grew the company's presence further into the United States with the acquisition of OneBeacon Insurance Group, Ltd. In 2021, Mr. Brindamour successfully completed the acquisition of RSA Insurance plc, Intact's largest acquisition to date, growing premiums from $12 to $20 billion. Mr. Brindamour is a graduate of Université Laval in Actuarial Science and an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. In May 2019, Mr. Brindamour received an honorary PhD from HEC Montréal. He is a board member of Intact Financial Corporation, the Geneva Association, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and the Business Council of Canada.

Darren Godfrey - SVP

In June 2021, Mr. Godfrey was appointed Executive Vice President, Global Specialty Lines. He oversees all operations in North America through Intact Specialty Solutions and our marine practices in the United Kingdom and Europe through RSA Insurance. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Godfrey held the role of Senior Vice President, Commercial Lines of Intact Insurance beginning in January 2020. He was responsible for our commercial lines' product, pricing and underwriting strategies; increasing our competitiveness by bringing leading solutions to customers and brokers. In May 2016, Mr. Godfrey was appointed Senior Vice President, Personal Lines. In this role, he was responsible for the evolution of Intact Insurance's personal lines strategies and for increasing its competitive advantages in underwriting, pricing and product development. He played a critical role in improving the performance of our personal auto portfolio over this period. He has held many roles within the company prior to his appointment in Personal Lines. He was Regional Vice President in Calgary where he was responsible for growing Intact Insurance's business in Alberta. Mr. Godfrey was also the Deputy Senior Vice President of Claims for the West Division in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba. His other roles included Vice President responsibilities in claims, personal lines underwriting and actuarial services since joining the organization in 2001. Mr. Godfrey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne (Australia) in 1989 and a Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University (Australia) in 1991. Dr. Indira Samarasekera

Dr. Samarasekera is a corporate director and Senior Advisor at Bennett Jones, LLP. Dr. Samarasekera served as the President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Alberta from 2005 to 2015. She is internationally recognized as a leading metallurgical engineer, including for her work on steel process engineering for which she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada. Among other things, Dr. Samarasekera was previously a member of Canada's Science, Technology and Innovation Council as well as Canada's Global Commerce Strategy. She possesses an M. Sc. in mechanical engineering from the University of California, as well as a Ph.D. in metallurgical engineering from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Samarasekera has also been elected as a Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Engineering in the U.S. She currently serves on the board of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, together with Mr. Young. Mr. Clarke has had a long and established career in the insurance industry, having spent more than twenty-five years at PartnerRe, most recently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer. Over his tenure at PartnerRe, a leading global reinsurer, Mr. Clarke held various underwriting leadership roles in the company's property and casualty (P&C), specialty lines, and international divisions. In 2015, he was appointed President of the company and shortly thereafter took on the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, where his leadership was instrumental in building the company's global reinsurance business. Frederick Singer

Mr. Singer is an internet pioneer and entrepreneur whose career and philanthropic accomplishments have spanned a broad range of sectors from media, education, arts, science and veterans affairs. Until December 2021, he was CEO of Echo360, which provides a next-generation educational software platform to help over 1,200 schools in 20 countries deliver better educational outcomes, he was subsequently named Chairman of the board of directors of Echo360. Previously, Mr. Singer was a Senior Advisor to Masayoshi Son, President and CEO of Softbank Corporation in Japan and was also active as a venture partner at Softbank Capital in the U.S. Prior to Softbank, Mr. Singer held a number of senior roles at AOL including Chief Operating Officer of AOL Studios, Chief Operating Officer for ICQ (instant messaging) and Senior Vice President of Emerging Products. Prior to AOL, he was a founder of the Washington Post Online Service (now WashingtonPost.com) and a consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Singer has served on a number of business, charitable and educational boards including DoubleClick, Motley Fool Company, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (International Committee), Queen's University School of Business, Upper Canada College, The Langley School and "Warrior to Cyber Warrior", which focuses on providing distance learning training in the field of cybersecurity to wounded veterans. Frédéric Cotnoir was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Intact in 2021. Mr. Cotnoir is responsible for Intact's legal, compliance, internal audit and corporate secretarial functions. Prior to joining Intact, Mr. Cotnoir was a partner at McCarthy Tétrault, where he practised law in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities laws, corporate governance and the regulation of financial institutions. Isabelle Girard

Isabelle began her career at AXA Canada in 2000 as an actuary and joined Intact following the AXA Canada acquisition in 2011. In her 24 years with IFC, she has acquired knowledge and experience from multiple sectors and functions and has held several roles in actuarial, personal lines and commercial lines underwriting, finance and project management, at both regional and national levels. Appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer in July 2022 to lead the Intact Data Lab, she contributed to enhance data as one of Intact's core competencies by leading a team that builds on new techniques like artificial intelligence and machine learning. In January 2024, she was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Digital & Data Officer, Intact Lab, following the merge of the Digital & Data Labs. Prior to these roles, Isabelle was SVP, Personal Lines, responsible for Intact Insurance and belairdirect personal lines product, pricing and underwriting strategies to proactively and sustainably grow our Personal Lines portfolio in Canada. Jane E. Kinney

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, Ms. Kinney is a recognized leader in governance, risk management, regulatory compliance and internal audit services. Until 2019, she was Vice Chair of Deloitte and she is a former member of its leadership team. Prior to that role, she occupied various positions at Deloitte, including Canadian Managing Partner, Quality & Risk and Global Chief Risk Officer. She is also a former member of Deloitte's Board of Directors and Risk Committee. Ms. Kinney's governance and risk experience includes numerous reviews and independent evaluations of organizations responding to regulator findings. A substantial portion of her practice has focused on the evolving areas of Risk Governance and Risk Appetite. In 2015, Ms. De Silva was named President & CEO of the Toronto Region Board of Trade, one of the largest and most influential business organizations in North America. She co-founded and later sold Retail China Limited, a company that worked with international retail brands operating their retail stores and managing their franchises in China. In November 2021, Ken Anderson was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of RSA UK & International. In this role he oversees the financial affairs of the UK & International business. Previously, Mr. Anderson was Senior Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Development where he was responsible for all aspects of shareholder engagement as well as guiding mergers and acquisitions activities in support of the company's strategies and financial objectives. Ken Norgrove

Ken Norgrove was appointed Chief Executive Officer of RSA, UK & International in January 2022. He was the CEO of RSA Scandinavia-the RSA Insurance Group's most profitable subsidiary-from 2019 until the acquisition of RSA by IFC in June 2021. Under Mr. Norgrove's leadership, the subsidiary delivered its best financial results in a decade, building a stable platform for sustained profitability. Prior to leading RSA Scandinavia, Mr. Norgrove was the CEO of RSA Ireland, where he also led the very successful turnaround of that business from 2014 to 2019. Mr. Norgrove's history with RSA dates back to 1986, including a four-year term in the UK where he set up the very successful Global Renewable Energy Business, achieving a multimillion-pound turnover within three years, and securing a leading position globally for insuring renewable energy assets. During this time, he also spearheaded a new Global Business Model-one of the most successful and profitable start-up ventures for RSA at the time, and which maintains substantial market share today. He also spent one year as a VP at Travelers Insurance and three years as CEO, Zurich General Insurance (Ireland) between 2010 and 2014 before rejoining RSA. Mr. Norgrove is a Chartered Insurance Director, a Chartered Insurer and fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK (CII). He has held many legal entity directorships (in the UK, Denmark, Ireland and Luxembourg) as well as held the position of President of Insurance Ireland and the Insurance Institute of Ireland.

In June 2021, Mr. Gagnon was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Intact Financial Corporation's Canadian operations. In this role, Mr. Gagnon is responsible for all Canadian-based business entities (Intact Insurance, belairdirect, Anthony Insurance, BrokerLink, Johnson Insurance), in addition to overseeing Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Marketing and Communication functions. Mr. Gagnon was President of Intact's Canadian operations from January 2018 until his CEO appointment. From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Gagnon was President, Service & Distribution, where he oversaw the development and expansion of belairdirect, BrokerLink, international initiatives and ventures as well as Intact's Claims operations. Prior to that, Mr. Gagnon served as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2011 to 2013 and President of Intact Insurance from 2008 to 2011. He joined Intact Insurance as Senior Vice-President Quebec division in January 2007. Mr. Gagnon started his career in the banking industry before becoming an insurance broker in 1992. In December 2013, Louis Marcotte was appointed Chief Financial Officer for Intact Financial Corporation, where he oversees the financial affairs of the organization and investor relations. Before his appointment, Mr. Marcotte held the role of Senior Vice President of Strategic Distribution, overseeing Intact's investments in the broker network and the development of financial solutions for the company's brokers and partners. Prior to that, Mr. Marcotte was Treasurer of Intact Financial Corporation responsible for Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Treasury. Mr. Marcotte has more than 30 years of progressive international experience in financial management with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, financing, system implementation, public reporting, tax, and corporate governance. Patrick Barbeau was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2021. In this role, Mr. Barbeau has global accountability for Claims, Technology and our two labs, the Intact Lab and the Data Lab. From 2016 until his recent appointment, he held the role of Senior Vice President, Claims at Intact Insurance. In this role, Mr. Barbeau was responsible for all claims operations across Canada. From December 2013 to April 2016, he was Senior Vice President of Personal Lines. Prior to that, Mr. Barbeau was Vice President of Personal Lines from 2011 to 2013. In that position, he was responsible for Personal Lines rating and underwriting for the Quebec region. As part of his duties, he was involved in the AXA Canada and Jevco integration activities. Mr. Barbeau joined ING Canada in 2000 in the Actuarial department. He was appointed Manager of the Actuarial Department at belairdirect in 2003. In 2004, he became Vice President, Underwriting at belairdirect and later Vice President, Quebec Region, at belairdirect. Robert G. Leary

Mr. Leary is a corporate director. He was previously CEO of The Olayan Group, a private international investor and a diverse commercial and industrial group with operations globally. Mr. Leary was also previously CEO of Nuveen, a U.S. based investment management firm that was acquired in 2014 by TIAA-CREF (Teachers Insurance & Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund), now known as TIAA. Mr. Leary had joined TIAA-CREF in 2013 and was instrumental in the acquisition and invigoration of Nuveen as well as its integration with TIAA's pre-existing asset management business. In that role, Mr. Leary oversaw the expansion of TIAA / Nuveen's socially responsible and ESG assets under management. Mr. Leary began his career as a lawyer for White & Case in New York, and then moved into the financial services arena with J.P. Morgan & Co., where he led the development of fixed-income derivative applications and investment strategies for pension plans and other investment managers. In the course of more than 20 years in the industry, Mr. Leary helped build AIG Financial Products' investment business and led all of its client-facing businesses from marketing to distribution globally, and later was CEO of ING Investment Management Americas and ING Insurance U.S. At ING U.S., he was responsible for the investment management, retirement, insurance and annuity businesses, as well as operations, IT and marketing in the U.S. He has been a frequent speaker or panelist at numerous industry conferences and has appeared in major financial media. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science at Union College and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law.

Stephani Kingsmill

Ms. Kingsmill is an experienced executive who served in a wide range of roles in the insurance, asset management and real estate businesses of Manulife over her career, from 1988 to 2019. Most recently, she was Senior Advisor to Manulife's CEO and led the Company's ambitious expense efficiency program. Prior to that, Ms. Kingsmill was Executive Vice President, Human Resources with responsibility for Manulife's workforce of 35,000 people located primarily in 13 countries. From 2006 to 2010, she was Senior Vice President & General Manager, Real Estate, responsible for Manulife's multi-billion dollar investment portfolio of prime office and industrial properties across markets in Canada, the US and Asia.

Stuart J. Russell

Mr. Russell is a pioneer researcher in Artificial Intelligence ("AI") who co-authored in the mid 1990s Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach, the leading textbook in the field. His research on AI covers a broad range of topics including machine learning, probabilistic reasoning, knowledge representation, planning and real-time decision making. He joined the faculty of the University of California at Berkeley in 1986 and is a Professor (and formerly Chair) of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and holder of the Smith-Zadeh Chair in Engineering. Mr. Russell also served as Vice-Chair of the World Economic Forum's Council on AI and Robotics, and he is a co-founder and Vice-President of Bayesian Logic, Inc., a data analysis start-up under contract with the United Nations Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization. Mr. Russell is also a member of the advisory boards of Varo Money, Inc., ReciTAL SAS, Planet Labs Inc., Faculty Science Ltd. and Semiotic Labs BV. Mr. Russell is a recipient of the Presidential Young Investigator Award of the National Science Foundation, the IJCAI Computers and Thought Award, the World Technology Award (Policy category), the Mitchell Prize of the American Statistical Association and the International Society for Bayesian Analysis, the Feigenbaum Prize of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, the ACM Karlstrom Outstanding Educator Award, and the AAAI/EAAI Outstanding Educator Award. Mr. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with first-class honors in Physics from the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University. He is a Fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence, the Association for Computing Machinery, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and an Honorary Fellow of Wadham College, Oxford.

Sylvie Paquette

Sylvie Paquette has spent her entire career in the P&C insurance industry in Canada. She joined Desjardins Group in 1984 and held a variety of progressively senior roles within the organization before being promoted in 2008 to Senior Executive Vice-President and General Manager of the Group's P&C insurance division as well as President and Chief Operating Officer of Desjardins General Insurance Group (DGIG). During Ms. Paquette's tenure as President and COO, she spearheaded Desjardins' acquisition of State Farm's Canadian operations in 2015. She retired from Desjardins Group in December 2016. Ms. Paquette has been actively involved in key industry associations. In recent years, she was a Board member of the Insurance Bureau of Canada (Chair in 2015 and 2016), of the General Insurance Statistical Agency, of the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction and of the Centre for Insurance and Financial Services Development (Chair from 2009 to 2014). Throughout her career, Ms. Paquette has co-chaired major fundraising campaigns, and she sat on the Board of Laval University's Foundation until recently. Ms. Paquette is a graduate of the Actuarial Science program at Laval University. She is also certified as a corporate director (Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC)) by the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.

T. Michael Miller

In June 2021, Mr. Miller was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Intact's Global Specialty Lines including operations in North America, through Intact Specialty Solutions, and in the United Kingdom, through RSA Insurance. Mr. Miller joined Intact Financial Corporation in September 2017 as President of Intact's North American specialty insurance business through the acquisition of OneBeacon Insurance Group, Ltd. Prior to the acquisition, he served as OneBeacon's President and CEO since 2005. Mr. Miller has over 40 years of experience in the property-casualty industry. He began his career in underwriting at Chubb in 1981, where he held roles of increasing responsibility. After 14 years, he joined the St. Paul Travelers, where he ultimately served as co-chief operating officer overseeing the company's specialty business and field operations. Over his 10 years with the company, he held senior leadership positions in various specialty businesses and managed operations in the U.S., Canada and Europe. He joined OneBeacon in April 2005 as its Chief Operating Officer, and was appointed President and CEO in July 2005. Mr. Miller earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Allegheny College. He is a past Chairman and current member of both the American Insurance Association Board of Directors and the Insurance Information Institute Board of Directors, and a member of the P&C CEO Roundtable. Mr. Miller is also a past director of the Insurance Federation of Minnesota and the Science Museum of Minnesota, as well as the United Way of Massachusetts.

William L. Young - Chairman

Mr. Young has been a member of the Board of Directors of Intact Financial Corporation since 2018 and was appointed Chair in May 2022. He has extensive public company board experience. He was a member of the Magna International Board of Directors from 2011 until May 2022 and has chaired that board from 2012 to 2022. He was also appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. in September 2020, and has extensive experience in the private equity sector. He co-founded and was a partner of Monitor Clipper Partners, a private equity firm established in 1998. He is also a founding partner of Westbourne Management Group (1988) and was a partner in the European practice of Bain & Company (1981 to 1988). Mr. Young possesses significant operational experience, as well as extensive mergers and acquisitions experience. He is Chair Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of Queen's University, which he chaired from 2006 to 2012 and he is chair of the board of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR). Mr. Young has significant private company board and board leadership experience over the last 20 years, including a number of European and U.S.-based companies. He is a professional engineer (P.Eng. - Ontario) with a B.Sc (Honours) in chemical engineering (Queen's) and an MBA with distinction (Harvard).
