Mark D'Souza

Mark a retired Detective Sergeant, with 30 years of law enforcement experience. During his career he worked on some cases involving Greater Manchester and the UK Border Agency's most complex and serious organised crime groups. He has led operational intelligence and surveillance teams on sensitive operations. He spent the latter part of his career engaged in partnership working, using partnership legislation to disrupt organised crime groups. Mark is an accredited police trainer with a Certificate in Education from Bolton University and has delivered a range of Intelligence, Surveillance, Covert Human Intelligence Source Handling and Proactive Policing courses to both law enforcement and non-law enforcement agencies, in the UK and at the European Police College (CEPOL). Throughout his career, Mark has received numerous Chief Superintendent and Judge's Commendations.

Paul Miller

Paul retired from Greater Manchester Police after 30 years' service as a Detective Inspector in 2014. He is recognised as an expert in the mitigation of serious threat and problem solving.

Tom Kelly

Tom Kelly retired at the rank of Detective Inspector with 33 years of law enforcement experience. Tom was widely accepted by GMP to be one of their most experienced investigators of serious crime and held in high esteem by his colleagues. He has worked on some of Greater Manchester's most complex and serious criminal investigations. He led homicide investigations overseas in Europe, Zimbabwe and The Philippines. Prior to retirement Tom was the Deputy Senior Investigating Office investigating multiple murders and poisoning within a large NHS hospital. This 4 years enquiry resulted in the conviction of a rogue nurse who was sentenced to a total of 24 life sentences. The investigation used ground breaking forensic technology. For his part he received a national award from the Homicide Working Group. Tom has gone on to give lectures concerning this investigation to law enforcement specialists across the U.K. Since retirement, Tom has continued to be employed as a full time consultant for Greater Manchester Police.
