Aqeel Tahir is an experienced faculty member with a professional academic experience of 11 years in teaching reputed Universities of Karachi. Engineer Asma Aziz is a lecturer at MAJU. Bisma Gulzar is a dedicated Lecturer and Clinical Psychologist with a passion for continuous learning and professional development. She has been serving as a lecturer at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University since February 2021 and holds the position of FYP Coordinator for the Department of Psychology.
Bisma Gulzar has actively pursued additional training in various psychotherapeutic interventions, including Internal Family System, Couples Counseling (Gottman Method), teletherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This commitment to expanding her skills and knowledge reflects her belief in the importance of staying updated with the latest practices in her field.
In 2020, Bisma completed her MS in Clinical Psychology from Bahria University. Throughout her postgraduate education, she gained valuable experience working as a Psychologist/Counselor at Indus Hospital. This hands-on experience allowed her to apply her theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and further develop her clinical skills.

With a strong research inclination, Bisma Gulzar has focused her interests on several key areas. These include exploring the long-term effects of childhood abuse on adult personality, investigating the impacts of parentification, examining the relationship between religiosity, spirituality, and overall well-being, and adopting a psychoanalytical perspective on the issue of obesity. Dr. Bushra Bilal work as an educator and researcher in the field of Biochemistry. She continued her graduation studies from Jinnah University for Women. She stood first class first position in both B.Sc. (honors) and M.Sc., and received Gold medal for securing first position in faculty of Science in M.Sc. During her M.Sc. thesis, she was fascinated with the experiments conducted on Environmental Biochemistry, and this is from where her interest in research developed. She got admission in M. Phil. at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Karachi and worked as a Jr. Research fellow of molecular biology and proteomics. After completion of her M. Phil. Degree, she joined as Research coordinator of the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS), AKUH. Dr. Monir has over 17 years of experience in academics and research. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi and completed his Master's and Doctoral degrees from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr. Ghulam Muhammad has more than 18 years of experience in Research, Training, Teaching and working as an HR Head. He has done Ph.D in HR, secured a Gold Medal in MS (HR) and Won numerous international Research Grants from HEC. His areas of expertise are HR Analytics, HR Audit and HR transformation. He visited several countries, wrote a book and presented or published 47 research papers in internationally renowned journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Hina Fatima received Master of Economics from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Master of Philosophy from International Islamic University, Islamabad, PhD from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi and PhD research Fellowship from West Texas A&M University, USA. She is one of the key editorial members of Jinnah Business & Economic Research Journal and the Editor of Jinnah Research Bulletin. Dr. Huma Jawed has done her Ph.D. in Pharmacology (2013) from H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, ICCBS, University of Karachi (enrolled with Faculty of Pharmacy University of Karachi). She obtained her master's degree from Department of Biochemistry, University of Karachi (2004). Currently serve as a head department of Biosciences. Dr. Kashif Ishaque received his B.E. from Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering (IIEE), Pakistan, in 2006, Master of Engineering science and PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Recently, he was ranked #1 in the directory of Productive Scientists of Pakistan (PSP) in Engineering, made by Pakistan Council of Science and Technology (PCST) and was also awarded with Research Productive Award by PCST. Dr. Muhammad Asif Qureshi is working as an Associate Professor, Faculty of Business Administration at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and also worked as a Director Research and Projects at MAJU. Prof. M. Kamran Azim has more than 25 years of experience in research, teaching, training, and administrative service experience in an academic setting. Currently, he is serving as Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi. He has demonstrated the ability to run and manage research laboratories, including project design, collaborations, experimentation, submission and publication in manuscript form (as senior author), submission of research grants to federal and private agencies (as principal investigator), recruiting and supervising personnel and trainees.
Prof. Azim teaches courses on Genomics, Bioinformatics, Protein Chemistry, Enzymology and Molecular Biology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Recently, Prof. Azim's group has characterized the oral bacteriome dysbiosis in type 2 diabetic patients (medRxiv 2020.04.09.20052613). The latest research carried out in his laboratory provided novel insight into salivary microbiome dysbiosis in addicts of betel nut preparations (medRxiv 2020.04.13.20064063). Moreover, Prof. Azim's group carried out metagenomic profiling of (a) freshwater lakes at different altitudes in Pakistan and (b) bacterial communities in the drinking water supply system of Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Shaukat Wasi received his PhD (CS) and MS (CS) degrees from FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) in 2015 and 2006 respectively.
