Mossy Rock Ranch comprises 3500 acres in Brown County outside Cross Plains, TX, in the Rolling Plains Region. Established in April of 2010, Mossy Rock Ranch's original focus was on Whitetail breeding. After several years of Whitetail Breeding, there was a need to diversify the business, leading us to exotic hoof stock. Kurt has always had a passion for African Game and has had common exotics on the ranch for recreation since the ranch was established. As the evolution of the exotic industry in Texas has exploded, the decision was made to close our whitetail facility in the Spring of 2023 and turn all of our focus to breeding the highest quality exotic hoof stock, now with 28 species calling Mossy Rock Ranch home...
