Dr Alana Dawson

Alana grew up and was educated in Western Australia. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2010, became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP's in 2019 and joined Shenton General Practice in 2020. She has extensive experience working at Royal Perth Hospital in adult medicine and has a strong interest in chronic disease management. Alana's interests outside medicine involve anything outdoors, including running, hiking and diving.

Cathy is a local graduate who greatly enjoys the diversity of general practice and the privilege of seeing families across generations. Her particular interests include paediatrics, women's health, sports medicine and clinical education. She is a Dr4drs practitioner and is also the main supervisor for registrars and medical students at the practice. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Dr Claire McQuillan

Dr McQuillan graduated from Queen's University, Belfast in 2009. After working for a few years in Ireland she emigrated to Perth where she predominately worked in Emergency medicine in both adult and paediatric medicine. She commenced General Practice training in 2016 and has become a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. She has also completed the Diploma of Child Health from The University of Westmead and has attained a certificate in Sexual Health and Family Planning. Dr George Crisp

Dr George Crisp trained in London before moving to Australia in the late 1980s. His special interests include general medicine, diabetes, hypertension, travel and expedition medicine. Dr Crisp writes and lectures on environmental health issues, including urban health, biodiversity loss, air pollution and climate change. He is also keyboard player for Perth cover band "80's inc". Dr Helen Wilcox

Helen grew up in Perth and attended UWA. She completed her GP Fellowship in 2006 and enjoys a wide variety of general practice with special interests in children, women's health, cancer, palliative care and doctors' health. Her other role is as the director of the MD Program at UWA, and she is an active researcher in general practice, medical education and trauma-informed care. She enjoys marathon running, and running after her three primary school aged children.

Dr James Cheng

James went to medical school at the University of Western Australia. Before working as a general practitioner, he spent his days and nights at Royal Perth Hospital, Midland Public Hospital, and Armadale Kelmscott Memorial Hospital, with a brief stint in Kalgoorlie. He enjoys the breadth of general practice, with a particular interest in the management of chronic diseases and mental health. When not working, he loves to read, write, paint, and play music. Dr Kyria Laird

Kyria is a local UWA graduate (2013) and spent five years in hospital medicine before deciding GP was her calling. Kyria enjoys the variety of General Practice and enjoys building long term relationships with the whole family. In addition to clinical work, Kyria also writes clinical information for other GPs to use as a point of care resource through WA Primary Health Alliance. Kyria has a special interest in optimising chronic disease management by empowering patients' understanding of their health conditions, preventative health, gender affirming care, and unintended pregnancy (including providing medical abortions). When not working, Kyria loves spending time with her toddler and family, exploring the outdoors, hiking and adventuring.

Dr Mei Lon Ng

Mei Lon graduated from UWA medical school in 1995 and gained her Fellowship in 2002. More recently she has completed a Masters in Exercise Medicine with a special interest in oncology and cancer survivorship. Mei Lon is married with three grown up children and enjoys playing tennis, cooking and long walks with her two dogs. Dr Patrick Lee

Dr Patrick Lee qualified with an honours degree from University College Dublin in 2011 before moving to Perth in 2013. He has worked at various hospitals around Perth, and completed his fellowship in general practice in 2018. He enjoys all aspects of general practice with particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine, chronic disease management, men's health and mental health. Dr Sam McTigue

Dr Sam McTigue completed his medical degree at the University of WA in 2011. Following Perth-based work in both adult and children's hospitals, mental health services, and work with Silver Chain palliative care, Dr Sam attained RACGP fellowship in 2017. Dr Sam is committed to evidence-based medical care with a focus on the long-term health of his patients. Dr. Ellen Robinson

Ellen is a GP Registrar from Perth, with degrees in Psychology (BSc) and Medicine (MD) from UWA (2012-19). Abroad, she has studied at UCLA and the University of Bergamo in Italy, speaking Italian almost as enthusiastically as she eats the food. During university Ellen worked for the Australian Medical Association, discussing Mental Health, Sexual Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs in schools across WA.
