Hello! My name is Beatriz Janda. I am from Peru and immigrated to the United States 21 years ago. Since then, I have helped the Latino community and now am excited to help them here at St. Lawrence too!

Corrine Reid

Hello! My name is Corrine Reid. I am a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a business degree. I enjoy watching the Reds play and reading, especially during the summer!

Jenniffer Peralta de Lowery

I am Jenniffer Peralta de Lowery, from Nicaragua. I am the mother of three and a wife too. I am an aide at St. Lawrence School in the preschool program. I was a peer counselor for eight years in a group called "Latinos United." My motto in life is, "be the light, the color of happiness, everywhere you go.

Jina Pettyjohn

Hi! My name is Jina Pettyjohn. I'm a Mom of three beautiful children and have been a Westsider all my life. I have a strong Catholic faith. My family are big sports fans and love our hometown teams like the Reds, Bengals and UC. I am very excited to be at St. Lawrence this year. The community here is amazing. I'm looking forward to working with all the children here!

Mr. Randy Doyle

I graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a degree in sports administration in 2016. I spent two years living in Nicaragua, working with Amigos for Christ. During my time there, I learned Spanish, and I am now in my 4th year at St. Lawrence where I feel truly blessed to work alongside our Spanish speaking families and students. I am now studying Special Education at Miami University. I've been married to my wife Regan for two and a half years and we have two cats.

Hola, my name is Dennise Macedo, I am from Peru and immigrated to Cincinnati 12 years ago and this is my eighth year working as a Spanish Liaison at St. Lawrence. My role is to help students, parents, teachers, and support staff improve communication between home and schooI. Also I love working with the preschoolers.

Mrs. Ellen Smith

I have been a substitute teacher for almost 15 years and a year ago started working at St. Lawrence full time. I am usually an instructional aide in first grade, but you may see me anywhere else in the building depending where I am needed! I love those moments when a child understands something new for the first time! When I am not at St. Lawrence, I enjoy reading, playing my flute in the Westside Community Band and finding a new hiking trail to explore.

Mrs. Emily McCullough

I was born and raised on the Westside of Cincinnati. I attended catholic schools and graduated from University of Charleston. I have been part of the Eagle family for 7 years. I have taught 3rd grade and kindergarten before landing my current position as the Art teacher. I teach Art for all grade levels. I am married and we have 3 beautiful children. When I am not at school, I am spending time with my family and friends.

This is my seventh year working at St. Lawrence as a Title I Reading and Math teacher. Before coming to St. Lawrence, I taught Kindergarten and First Grade at St. Martin's for a few years. I earned my Master's Degree in Reading from Xavier University after graduating from Wheeling Jesuit University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified with a Reading Endorsement and I am Orton-Gillingham trained. I am grateful to be a part of the St. Lawrence family! It's a great place to be!

Mrs. Erica Tyler

Having worked at St. Lawrence since 2011, I truly feel like the students and staff here at school are an extension of my family. Since I first started, I have been honored to support the students in their mental and emotional well-being, helping them find ways to cope with life's challenges and adversities. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker that has worked for almost twenty years in the mental health field. It has been a great pleasure to watch the students here grow and mature each year. Outside of school, I love being active, going for hikes with my three beautiful girls, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Mrs. Jen Long

I am blessed and honored to be the principal at St. Lawrence, a position I've held since the 2021-2022 school year .I have been a member of the faculty at St. Lawrence since the 2015-2016 school year. I started my career in 1997 as a teacher at Holy Family. After having children, I reduced my hours to part-time and went to work for Northwest Local School District. I graduated from Seton High School before going to Northern Kentucky University to earn my Bachelors of Arts in Education and then completing my Masters of Education from Wright State University. I live in Bridgetown with my husband, Greg and our kids Justin, Kyle and Ryan. My family and I were members of St. Jude Parish for 25 years but I now attend Mass at St. Lawrence.

Mrs. Josie O'Toole

I have worked as a Title I Reading and Math teacher at St Lawrence School for eight years. Before teaching here, I taught at Guardian Angels School for many years. I earned my Master's Degree in Reading from Xavier University after graduating from Northern Kentucky University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I also have an Advanced Certification in Orton-Gillingham. I have three children and a lovable Golden Retriever named Jax. I feel blessed to be a part of the Eagles' Family. It's a wonderful place to work!

Mrs. Julie Banschbach

I love being part of the St. Lawrence School family, I have enjoyed my role as Computer Aide for the past 9 years. I especially enjoy keeping our school up-to-date with the ever changing world of computer technology. My hope is to prepare students for the world ahead of them. I started as a Desktop Engineer for Anthem BCBS, and worked there for 24 years. I then took time off to be home with my two boys while looking for a job where I could spend more time with them. I also was a soccer coach for CWSC, but recently retired after coaching for 31 years. It's a great day to be a St. Lawrence Eagle.

Mrs. Kelly Starkey

I am so grateful to be at St. Lawrence! This is my second year working in the feelings room as the Testing Coordinator and the School Counselor. I also help assist all 8th graders with preparing for their high school experience. I am a Licensed Social Worker and have years of experience working with children in the foster care system, as well as those who suffer with mental health issues. My husband and I have three children and are parishioners of St. Dominic Church.

I have been at St Lawrence for 6 years, and I've worked for the Archdiocese for 12 years. I enjoy being in the school office where I can interact with both students and parents. I've been able to utilize my Accounting degree in many aspects of my responsibilities including tuition assistance programs. In my free time you can find me on my boat at Lake Cumberland!

Mrs. Rose Burck

My name is Rose Ann Burck. This is my 2nd year at St. Lawrence School. I comehere with over 30 years of teaching experience. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati where I double majored in Special Education and Elementary Education. After graduating, I immediately went on to work on my Masters Degree at Xavier University and graduated from Northern Kentucky University. I have taught many grades between K-12. I even started an Autism unit for middle schoolers for Mt. Healthy Schools in 2000. I love working with children of all ages. Each child is special and has unique gifts. I enjoy supporting students in all areas.

I have been so grateful to be part of the St. Lawrence School Family since 2014. I am 1 of 3 School Secretaries here at St. Lawrence. My husband and I have one daughter and are parishioners at St. Dominic Church. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my daughter play multiple sports, and cheering on the UC Bearcats Basketball Team.

Ms. Blanca Brogan

Hi! My name is Blanca Brogan. I am originally from the Westside of El Salvador. I migrated to the United States 33 years ago and married a 100% Westsider of Cincinnati! Last year I was blessed to stumble upon an opportunity to where I can use my Spanish/English bilingual skills to become a teacher's aide for St. Lawrence School. Working here alongside the excellent Kindergarten teachers has been awesome. I love it here! Helping these wonderful children and families has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life!

Hello! I'm Miss Jett! A fun fact about me is that I enjoy traveling and want to eventually travel to all 7 continents. I grew up closer to Hamilton, Ohio and attended Badin High School. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Xavier University in 2016. In 2022, I graduated with my Master's degree in Education and will receive my TESOL license soon. I've been Eagle proud since 2016 and love being part of our school community! I loved teaching third grade and I know I will love my new role as ELL tutor too!

Tom Aspero

Hello! My name is Tom Aspero. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Cincinnati in August of 2022. I have been in Education for eight years serving in many long term roles, most recently at Lebanon High School. Teaching and coaching is my passion. I also spent nine years scouting in professional baseball for the New York Mets. I also run a national baseball program severving student athletes in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. I currently live in Price Hill with my dog, Astra. I am a member of Saint Gertrude Parish but now attend Mass at St. Lawrence.
