Andrew Firbank

Andrew Firbank is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with over 25 years' experience working with pension trustee boards, investment sub-committees and governance oversight committees. He brings a powerful combination of actuarial, funding and investment skills to bear on risk management matters and was voted Investment Actuary of the Year in 2017, reflecting his contribution to the industry. Andrew's experience spans schemes from FTSE 100 PLCs to SMEs, with UK and overseas parent companies. He works with defined benefit and defined contribution arrangements, both trust and contract based. He joined PAN in January 2020 and is now working with a range of schemes.

Charles Goddard

Charles Goddard is arguably the most experienced independent trustee in the country, with over 30 years in the role. He is Managing Partner of PAN's Nottingham office, having joined PAN in 2009 from another leading trustee firm, where he was a founding director. As a trustee, Charles has been involved with many high profile schemes, which have either resulted in landmark cases or established precedents now adhered to by the wider pensions industry. Charles has a reputation for bringing his considerable experience and engaging personality to transform challenging scheme situations.

Jane Davison

Jane is PAN's Operations Manager, responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of support services to our front line Trustee team. Based at our Oathall House headquarters, she has been a key member of our support team for seven years.

Katie Delo

Katie is Executive Support Manager to the trustee team based at PAN's Oathall House headquarters. She has worked in pensions throughout her career, having been a senior administrator in several leading consultancies, before becoming UK Pensions Manager for a major utilities company.

Lynne Stewart-Brindle

Mike Roberts

Job Titles:

Mike Roberts is a formidable independent trustee who works with some of the country's leading schemes. With some 30 years' experience in pensions, he is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. He has significant business management and executive leadership experience both in the UK and the US. Prior to joining PAN in 2015, Mike was President of a major international consulting and operations business, based in New York. Mike is highly experienced in Trustee matters, with a particular focus on major DB situations. He is a strong leader of triennial funding negotiations, investment strategy decision-making, adviser selection and scheme restructuring.

Nicholas Chadha - COO

Nick is PAN's Chief Operating Officer and a member of the IFoA's Scottish Board with almost fifteen years' experience. He joined PAN having been a Scheme Actuary at a major international consultancy where he led on some of their premier UK-based clients.

Raymonde Nathan

Raymonde Nathan is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) and an elected member of the PMI's Advisory Council. With over 30 years' experience across all areas of pension scheme management, he brings a combination of deep knowledge, front-line experience and leadership skills that will enhance any Trustee board. He has a strong pensions industry profile, having run groups with a major UK consultancy that have won several awards, including Trustee Training Provider of the Year. Raymonde's experience spans both defined benefit and defined contribution arrangements, including authorised master trusts. He has been active with the Society of Pension Professionals, sitting on the defined contribution committee, where he took an active lead on matters with the Department of Work and Pensions. This work included important initiatives such as the recent auto enrolment review and the simplified benefit statements project. His trusteeship style is pragmatic and collaborative, looking to build highly effective relationships with his co-trustees and scheme sponsors. Raymonde believes that this strength in forging strong partnerships is the key to a well-managed and governed pension scheme. Raymonde joined PAN in January 2021.

Steve Delo - Chairman

Steve is Chairman of PAN Trustees and a former President of the Pensions Management Institute. Prior to becoming an independent trustee, his career spanned senior roles in consulting and asset management. He is currently chair of trustees for a number of major UK DB and DC schemes, including prominent authorised Master Trust, the People's Pension.
