Alana joined McAleer Jackson in July 2023 after the completion of her A levels at Castlederg High School.
Alana is currently studying first year Accounting Technicians. She works in the Accounts Department and is primarily involved in accounts preparation for a wide variety of sole traders and partnerships.

Alison joined McAleer Jackson in 1992 having graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Accounting from University of Ulster.
She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 and as a Member of the Association of Tax Technicians in 2002.
Alison is responsible for supervising all accounts preparation and taxation work carried for the firm's non-incorporated clients.
She also specialises in audit planning and compliance dealing directly with audit clients.

Ann worked with RTJ Ross for 34 years before the merger with McAleer Jackson in August 2022.
She is primarily involved in audit, accounts preparation and taxation work for a wide variety of sole traders, partnerships and companies.
Bio
Arnold joined the practice in 1994 after graduating with a First Class Honours Degree in Accounting from Queen's University, Belfast.
He was awarded the Stokes Kennedy Crowley / KPMG prize for being the best graduate in the BSc Accounting Degree.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998. On route to qualification he was placed first in Northern Ireland in the Professional III examinations.
In 1998 he also passed the Chartered Institute of Taxation examinations and was duly admitted as a member.
Arnold provides specialist tax and transactions advice, including capital gains and inheritance tax, in a wide range of assignments.
With the advantage of an agricultural background, Arnold has developed particular expertise and reputation in the renewable energy sector.

Colleen has gained valuable work experience as a sales assistant in a busy grocery business prior to taking up her current position.

Emma joined McAleer Jackson in 2010 after obtaining a 1st Class in her BSc (Hons) Degree in Accounting at Queens University Belfast.
Emma was admitted as a Member of Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2014 and passed the Chartered Institute of Taxation examinations in May 2017.
She is now involved with all aspects of tax compliance and tax planning for clients as well as training and supervising the work of members of the taxation department.

Eoghan joined McAleer Jackson in July 2022 after the completion of his A-Level exams At St. Joseph's Grammar School, Donaghmore. Achieving A*AB in Digital Technology, Maths and Business studies, respectively.
Eoghan is completing a Higher-Level Apprenticeship in Accounting. Taking the exams of ATI while working, and studying at the Southwest College, with the support of the firm.
Currently he is primarily involved in accounts preparation for a variety of sole traders and partnerships.

Faith joined McAleer Jackson in January 2024, having qualified with Chartered Accountants Ireland in June 2023.
Specialising in both internal and external audit, Faith works as part of our Audit team.

Hugh graduated from Queen's University, Belfast in 1981 and subsequently completed a postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at Queens in 1982.
Hugh qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985 and then established the practice in 1986, having previously trained with KPMG & PWC in Belfast.
He has been fundamental to the practice's development and the growth of its wide portfolio of clients, who have benefited from his specialist knowledge of the construction, property, engineering, agricultural and retail sectors.
When not working Hugh is involved with the Tyrone GAA Senior Football team, Seskinore Rural Community Group & other voluntary organisations. He is a member of Knockmany Running Club and has completed 3 marathons in recent years. Previously, he was Chairman of Club Tyrone for 6 years and has served on the Board of Governors of a local primary school and a local post primary school.

Kerry joined McAleer Jackson in June 2013 following the completion of her BSc (Hons) Degree in Accounting at Queen's University Belfast.
Kerry was awarded a First Class Honours Degree.
Following the successful completion of her professional exams, Kerry was admitted as a Member of the Chartered Accountants Ireland in April 2017. Kerry was promoted to Manager in 2018.
She is involved in a variety of fields within the office including accounts preparation, IT consultancy, mentoring of trainee staff and taxation advice.

Lynsey worked with B Peoples & Co for 5 years before the merger with McAleer Jackson in April 2016.
She holds a BSc Hons Degree in Accounting from University of Ulster and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2015.
Lynsey is Accounts Manager in charge of our Strabane office.
She is responsible for overseeing all UK and ROI accounts and taxation work carried out within the office, as well as dealing directly with clients, statutory bodies and other third parties.

Martha joined McAleer Jackson in July 2022 after the completion of her HLA in Applied Science in NWRC Derry.
Martha is currently studying for membership of Accounting Technicians Ireland. She is currently primarily involved in VAT and Tax.

Michael joined the practice in 2019 and specialises in providing business and accountancy advice to owner managed and family businesses.
Michael previously worked with two large international accountancy practices. He has over 20 years' experience in providing assurance services and corporate finance advice to assist his clients develop and deliver their plans for growth. He has had a diverse client base, ranging from large corporate groups to smaller trading partnerships, through which he has developed an extensive knowledge of the Agri-food, Manufacturing and Healthcare sectors.
His reputation for providing practical, common-sense advice and solutions ensures that undue complexity is taken out of key strategic decisions such as business acquisitions, raising finance, succession planning or business reorganisations.
Outside of work, Michael is a Committee Member of the Ulster Society of Chartered Accountants Ireland and Honorary Treasurer of the Clogher Valley Agricultural Society.
