Alex Buchanan

Alex has worked in institutional equities and corporate finance since 1998. After 12 years in institutional equities (initially at JP Morgan Cazenove), he established an alternative financing group at Lazard before going on in 2010 to build the alternative capital division (private equity advisory) at Mirabaud & Cie - (a 200-year-old Swiss bank with $25bn of Assets under Management). Since that time he has focused on advising, lending to and investing in private businesses. He has published two books on finance and is a graduate of Oxford University.

Gideon Bernstein

Gideon joined Nash & Co in 2017 after graduating with a 2:1 in BSc Industrial Economics at the University of Nottingham. He has since achieved the CISI Certificate in Corporate Finance and the CISI Investment Advice Diploma.

Jeremy Stephenson

Job Titles:

Jeremy has been an SME banker and advisor since 2002, working at Noble & Co, Seymour Pierce and Cantor Fitzgerald Europe where he was the co-founder of the metals & mining franchise. He was a main board Director of Marechale Capital Plc and prior to the City was a commissioned officer in the British Army for 7 years, which included two operational tours of duty. He is an accountancy graduate of Exeter University and is a Chartered Member of the CISI.

Neil Randall

Neil has 20 year's experience in corporate credit underwriting with RBS, Natwest, and Drummonds with specific expertise in evaluating complex commercial lending propositions.

Sanjay Mahtani

Sanjay has over 15 years' experience as an advisor and investment banker, at financial institutions including Credit Suisse and Citi's Global Investment Bank (formerly Salomon Smith Barney). He has extensive experience in leading and executing transactions across the industrial, transport, energy, consumer and financial services sectors. Sanjay's responsibilities included process management, financial modelling, valuation, and credit analysis. Sanjay has an MA (Cantab) in Economics from Downing College, University of Cambridge.

Toby Howell

Toby has worked in investment banking since 1999. He began his career at UBS Warburg before going on to establish the corporate finance division of Hichens Harrison & Co. From 2010 he worked in the private equity and alternative capital division at Mirabaud and since that time has focused on advising, lending to and investing in private businesses. He has operational leadership experience in the British Army, is a graduate of Newcastle University and holds a post-graduate diploma in Corporate Finance and Accounting from the CISI.
