Angie joined the Alpine family back in January of 2019 as the Industrial Estimating Assistant. She works with Sam and Ben Jr in the Industrial department. Angie is very dedicated and has become a vital part of our team here at Alpine Painting and Sandblasting. In her free time, Angie enjoys cooking and spending time with her kids. We are very happy to have Angie be a part of our family!

Ben Scaturro Jr.

Ben JR is one of our Industrial Painting Estimators and manages several of our complex private and public painting projects. He was the last brother to join the Alpine team after he graduated with a B.S. in Economics from Penn State University in 2005. Originally when he started, he was a project manager and his main focus was the shop. During that time, he transformed the shop by creating a streamlined process for blasting and coating in-house construction equipment, structural steel, communications equipment and pressure vessels. Ben JR has also helped Alpine receive SSPC QP1, QP2, and QP9 certifications and even became one of our SSPC Protective Coatings inspectors. Like his brothers, Ben JR has contributed many new ideas for the company and we are excited to see what else the Scaturro brothers have in store.

Dave Scaturro is a 2nd Generation Contractor and the Vice President of Alpine Painting. He runs the Commercial Painting Division and is Passionate about making buildings beautiful and finding coating solutions to solve problems and help people. His goal is to create lasting relationships with building owners, property managers and facility operators for the next 30 years. With over a decade of experience solving customer's issues including, peeling paint, water infiltration, rusted metal surfaces, delaminating wallcovering, rotten wood, mold and mildew problems he hopes to fix your concerns quickly, safely & in a professional manner… all for a fair price. A typical commercial painting project can range from the exterior of large warehouse/distribution facility, to manufacturing ceiling deck spray painting, waterproofing offices, or installing wallcovering in hotels, and condominium complexes. Some projects he was involved with include the Exterior Metal Siding and Trim Painting of IKEA's Signature Retail Store and the Interior Painting of Blue Apron's State of the Art Location in Linden, NJ. He has had a successful career and helped Alpine win many awards like the 2017 PDCA-PIPP Industrial Project National Award and the ABC Platinum Safety and Training Award. After graduating from Rutgers University in 2004 with a B.S. in Labor Relations and Business Management, Dave began working full-time at Alpine. Ever since, he has been able to help the company grow in different ways. He is passionate about learning the newest technology for our industry, providing the best customer service possible and training Alpine's craftsmen, sales associates and project managers to follow our vision to be the best service provider by serving our clients with systematic efficiency. Dave has been active in the painting community by serving as a National Board of Director for the PCA - Painting Contractors Association and holds a Certification as a NACE Level 1 Coating Inspector. In his free time, Dave enjoys backcountry skiing, CrossFit, and spending quality time with his family. Being part of the next generation of family business, we are excited to see Dave and his brothers help Alpine reach new heights. Chet Zalusky

Chet joined Alpine back in 2006, originally in sales, but then naturally over to operations. Currently Chet heads up our Project Management Division as our lead Superintendent. Most of the projects he is involved with include industrial elevated water tanks, structural steel at facilities and pipeline painting for the water and/or waste water industries such as the Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 Pipelines, and the Norwalk Elevated Water Tank projects. Over the course of his tenure, Chet has helped Alpine win many awards i.e OSHA 2012 Eye Safety Award and the 2018 PCA National Project award. What amazes us most is his ability to inspire our craftsmen. He is commonly referred to as the Godfather of Alpine. He always lends an ear to listen and give advice when needed. He is also in charge of managing Alpine Painting's Vehicle Fleet. During his spare time, Chet enjoys practicing his swing at golf. Being part of this company for many years, Chet has been a vital member in helping Alpine grow to what it is today.

Ed Bain

Ed is one of our project managers and has been with us since 2009. He has managed different jobs including the Exterior Painting of 15+ AMB Warehouses, the interior work for the Five Boroughs Brewing Co. brewery, and the yearly maintenance painting for TD Bank Park for the Somerset Patriots. As one of our project managers, his many responsibilities include budget management, field estimating, quality control, foreman training, and enforcing technical and safety standards on project sites. Ed has received high praise from our clients about his professional work ethic and successful results on completed projects. Along with his passion for commercial painting, he enjoys spending time with his family. Ed has been a huge part in perfecting our commercial projects and we are thankful to have him on our team.

Gabe Baez

Our in house shop painting division runs flawlessly much thanks to Gabe Baez. Gabe joined the Alpine team in 2012 and has been a very important asset ever since. He has had a heavy influence on our shop work ever since he started out as a helper. As Gabe gained more experience in the shop, he has moved up in the company gradually growing to the equipment manager, field liaison, and now shop manager. He also is certified as a NACE Coatings Inspector Level 1 and a Nuclear Applicator. On a daily basis, Gabe manages all the projects that come through the shop doors and works with the team with different trades such as engineers, construction companies, and architects, most of which are looking to give their old equipment a face lift. Most importantly, he makes sure all shop jobs are done correctly and to the customer's expectations. On his spare time, Gabe enjoys spending time with his family and has an interest in cars. With Gabe continuing to keep up our high standards in the shop, Alpine continues to be a top player in the painting market.

Jane Quan-Shau

As Alpine's office coordinator since 2019, Jane provides ongoing support for our industrial, commercial, welding, shop, and flooring divisions. Her role is integral to the success of our sales, marketing, human resource, and project management teams. In supporting the various divisions of the company she excels in meeting each division's respective goals by providing all documents and information necessary. Jane sets the standard for providing excellent customer care and consistently exceeds expectations. When not supporting the Alpine family, she spends time enjoying the care and support of family and friends.

Kenia Guerrero

Kenia joined the accounting department of Alpine back in October 2013 as the Accounts Payable Coordinator. Before then, she attended Berkley College where she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. On a daily basis, Kenia usually deals with Invoices, sending and receiving checks, and helping out the Controller of Alpine. Kenia also works with vendors by dealing with any issues or creating vendor lists. She has played an important role in keeping Alpine at high standards. She has loved working here ever since being hired. Her favorite part about the company is how family-oriented the business is run and how she is treated like one of their own. With managing several responsibilities, Kenia also helps run a Bible study at her church in her spare time. We are happy to have her as member of the Alpine family and excited to see her career advance with us.

Mitch Epstein

Mitch Epstein joined Alpine in 2017 after working in General Construction domestically and internationally for over 30 years. He's worked on projects in Panama, Columbia and Russia and has had some amazing stories to share with our team. He brings such a diverse background and knowledge to our Education, Healthcare, and Federal Government markets as one of our commercial project managers. He has been certified with the SSPC such as the C-1 Fundamentals of Protective Coatings and QP-1 Quality Control Supervisor courses and as a NACE 1 Inspector. With his impressive background, we know Mitch will keep our high standards, while advancing the growth of Alpine Painting & Sandblasting Contractors.

Sam Scaturro - President

Sam, the oldest son of Ben Scaturro, is the current President of Alpine Painting & Sandblasting Contractors. He graduated with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University in 2000. Immediately after graduation, Sam started working at Alpine full-time as an Estimator and Project Manager. Today, Sam estimates the most complex industrial projects and oversees the financial direction of Alpine Painting & Sandblasting Contractors. With Sam's background, he oversees updates with our quality and safety programs and ensures that "Safety is Priority One". Sam has taken many training courses and received certifications as a Safety & Health Specialist in Construction, SSPC Quality Control Supervisor, Concrete Coatings Inspector, Protective Coatings Specialist and a NACE Level 3 Coatings Inspector. He has been an integral part of many challenging projects such as the First Energy Penstock Painting and the application of the Grit Coat system to the Newark Airport Monorail. Sam has been instrumental in Alpine winning awards such as NJ, ABC, UTCA, NJSA and PDCA Construction Safety and ABC, PDCA and SSPC Top Jobs. Sam donates his time as an SSPC National Board Member, an KLA Board Member and volunteers to help at the Community Outreach Services in Paterson, NJ. When he is away from the office, Sam spends time with his family, enjoys many outdoor activities and competes in adventure races. Like his father and uncle, Sam has a passion for industrial painting, and intends to work with his brothers to help Alpine continue to grow and prosper.

Vania Schomp

Vania was welcomed to the Alpine team in 2000 and has been an essential part to our success. As the Controller, Vania manages payroll, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Human Resources, and works closely with Steve on the y/e financials and general ledgers for the company. Vania's first job consisted of working for a Heavy Highway contractor at the age of 21. That is where she found her passion in accounting. She went back to school and finally graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance. She continues to educate herself on a regular basis to keep up to date on critical financial changes. In addition, she has gone on to become a Notary Republic for the State of New Jersey. Vania is also an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association. Besides managing most of the financial areas for Alpine, Vania has also been a key player in helping Alpine give back to the community. She is in charge of the Alpine Thanksgiving Food Drive and has won the Community Outreach Center's Recognition Award in 2015 and 2016. During her spare time, Vania enjoys shopping, swimming, and is a skilled bowler. We are proud to see all the hard work she has done for the company and fortunate to have her on the Alpine team.
