Asante Dairy is a milk processing plant owned by Asante Agro Ltd. The plant is located in Soroti City, Eastern Uganda and has an initial installed production capacity of 60,000 liters of milk per day, with plans for expansion. The business aims to collect, process, and package fresh milk into various quality dairy products as it sources its raw milk from local farmers and cooperatives across northern and eastern Uganda, as well as its own nucleus farm of 20-25 dairy cows. The goal of the business is to make Uganda a milk-sufficient nation by activating the northern and eastern milk production corridors, creating employment opportunities for women and local farmers while promoting the growth of the dairy industry in Uganda...
