BODY OAK CLIFF

Body Oak Cliff was founded by Joel Pulis in 2012. As a lifelong Oak Cliff resident, he has been a pastor in the area since 1999. From 2002-2011, he had the joy of leading The Well Community and pastoring a congregation of adults with serious mental illness. The Well is a unique church - mixing everyday discipleship with daily missional opportunities among a marginalized people... It's our goal to help you gain clarity around your "vision" and "current reality," and then to walk with you on the "path of transformation." Our "path of transformation" is based on what we see in the life of Jesus. We believe that Jesus lived a life characterized by practices of reflection, connection, and surrender... We believe that real, lasting transformation is possible. This is a challenging idea for many of us, since the experience of temporary change creates cynicism and, eventually, resignation.
