Catriona heads up the East Lothian office of Anderson Strathern, specialising in all personal and private client services, particularly tax and succession planning, the drafting of complex wills, and the operation of powers of attorney. She works closely with her clients to provide them, and their families, with personal solutions to their succession and asset protection needs.
Catriona enjoys an active life with her young family. This includes swimming and following both football and hockey. Catriona is keen to combine improving business with helping the environment. She believes we all have a duty to look after the environment for future generation. She sees her support for Bright Green Business as a way of helping businesses improve operations whilst encouraging positive environmental behaviour.

A graduate in Ecology from Dundee University, in her early career Karen worked within Education and Operations at Science Centres and then at Scotland's National Aquarium. In 2009 she began working for Bright Green Hydrogen, assisting more than 30,000 pupils learn about renewable energy and hydrogen storage technologies through the Hydrogen Office Project and the Levenmouth Community Energy Project education programmes. After a brief time working/living in Canada, she returned to take on a more Operational role within Bright Green Hydrogen and in late 2019, added Bright Green Business to her portfolio. Karen became Chief Executive of the Business Partnership incorporating Mid & East Lothian Chamber of Commerce in April 2021.

Richard is an energy/environmental consultant with over 20 years experience in the renewable energy, environmental management and energy efficiency sectors. He is a Chartered Environmentalist, Lead ESOS assessor, EMS auditor and environmental auditor registered with The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and a Framework Consultant for Resource Efficient Scotland. Richard is a Director of On Site Generation Ltd which also installs renewable energy systems including solar photovoltaic systems and heat pumps, provides specialist consultancy and offer training courses to a wide range of clients commercial and domestic clients around Scotland. The three elements of the business interlink to provide practical and technical knowledge of designing and installing energy efficiency and microgeneration systems to the highest of standards.
Richard has an MSc in Environmental Management & Technology and has worked in the electricity generation and oil and gas sectors. In the early stages of his career, Richard worked as a consultant for the Business Environmental Partnership, the predecessor to Bright Green Business. Helping businesses in Midlothian save money through energy efficiency improvements and enhancing their environment credentials by implementing environmental management system or encouraging student placements as an excellent additional resource.
