Mark is a seasoned UK employment lawyer with particular expertise across Europe, Middle East and Africa. He advises a range of UK and international clients and is equally adept at advising start-ups or large multinationals in a wide range of business sectors ranging from internet to telecommunications and other digital technologies. Mark qualified as a Lawyer (England and Wales) in September 1993. He is a seasoned UK employment lawyer with particular expertise across Europe, Middle East and Africa. He advises a range of UK and international clients and is equally adept at advising start-ups or large multinationals with multi-jurisdictional issues in a wide range of business sectors ranging from internet media to telecommunications and other digital technologies. With 25 years' experience in private practice and in industry, Mark's expertise spans a broad portfolio of employment law matters notably the setting up of UK and European offices (including preparing employment contracts and employee handbooks), executive agreements, business restructuring (including large scale collective redundancy programmes), mergers and acquisitions, terminations (collective and individual), in/outsourcing, TUPE, policy development, and data privacy and HR data audits. As Associate General Counsel at Nortel Networks, he had responsibility for Global Employment Law and more recently, he was EMEA Employment Counsel at Yahoo before establishing Clientside Law with Simon Citron as a standalone legal practice in 2016.

Simon Citron

Simon is an award-winning lawyer with a specialisation in technical and data protection issues. He has more than 25 years' experience in commercial and corporate law, including a spell as Yahoo's General Counsel for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He brings first-hand experience of dealing with data breach issues and data protection compliance.
